Change a Blog author
Blogs - it would be good to be able to change the author of a blog. I function as the editor and post the blog but I am not the author. My work around is putting the author's name at the top of the post, but it would be better if I did not appear as the author. Could you change so that we could input the author's name OR change the word author to editor? Thanks

Speed up mapping Gadget
Speed up the mapping widgit.
The mapping widgit is so slow to resolve the markers that it isn't going to be useable for us. We only have 300 members but it takes minutes to resolve. We tried segmenting the locations to make the searches faster but it's still too slow.

Search products
Please consider:
In the products portion of the store there needs to be a way to search for products. This could be accomplished by either the tags used for the catague displays or by meta words used in the product name description. I'm sure there are other options as well.
Using ctrl F, is not user friendly, but is better than nothing.4 votes -
overpayment
Event registrants need to be able to apply overpayments on an account (such as created when they cancel an event registration after payment) to a new registration. Currently, they can see the overpayment until they register for a new event, at which time the small on-screen overpayment notice disappears. Ideally, they should be prompted "Would you like to apply your account credit balance (overpayment) to this invoice?" and be able to pay any remaining invoice balance via the online payment method.

separate tab for public view
the public view and admin view keep getting interchanged. I cannot be in one and stay in it. it reverts back to admin view. it gets quite confusing.
Can you open the public view in a separate tab? So it doesn't ever revert back to admin view.

Mobile App for Members. Enable switching to the landscape mode.
Please make it so that when members are using the Mobile App for MEMBERS that it can be oriented both horizontally & vertically. Currently the app for Members does not rotate to horizontal. If you can make the Mobile App for Admins rotate why not do it for the Members App? Thank you.

Permit the re-ordering of membership options that attract an addtional charge
Allow membership options that attract an additional charge to be re-ordered if a new one is added. We use this feature to list the fees for affiliated clubs that we collect along with our membership. It is not possible to insert a new club in alphabetical order as the membership data is linked to the order of the optional extra fees.

Booth reservation system like map-dynamics
We are looking to be able to sell booth space for a trade show along with the tickets to attend the event. The trick is to display an interactive floor plan where potential exhibitors can select, purchase and thus reserve a specific booth(s). Once purchased, a booth would then be unavailable for any one else to purchase and the their company name would appear on the map showing the space is reserved. We used to use service called www.map-dynamics.com/which worked pretty well BUT does not offer any attendee ticketing options. That forced us to use …

create a macro that includes ONLY delivery method
Create a macro for email of {delivery_option} that does not automatically append the physical address. Right now the delivery option macro includes the address, which when something is delivered by email is nonsensical.

date and time
We can create custom date fields in WA, but we cannot create datetime fields. We need to track specific times when events happen with the members, and the current date field isn't sufficient.
The work around is to store the datetime as a formatted string, but that isn't a perfect solution. A sortable datatime string isn't a very readable format so presenting that to the user isn't ideal.

Thread quoted replies to keep them together on forum lists
Forum presentations that have quoted replies are clumsy and unsatisfying. If a reply is made to a comment using a quote, and it appears pages later, no easy way for a user to know there is an explanatory reply to be found later in subsequent pages. Quoted replies should be indented below the reply commented, or sorted to, or at least with a link on the original to see the replies. Right now, it is nearly useless to see the reply string to a comment on a topic.

Bulleted and Numbered List Colors Don't Match Font
I have a dark background on my website and typically have to change the front to work most of the time. But, when I used bulleted or numbered lists, the bullets and numbers still turn up as black. Typically in a Word document you have to simply select the entire paragraph to capture the formatting of the bullet/number and make it consistent when this happen. Your Website editor doesn't seem to understand that.
What is the workaround?

Allow clients to change default event registration settings in the app
Please allow clients to change the default setting for "Include name in list of event registrants" on the event registration form in the mobile app settings. The current default is NO. Our events are ONLY open to members and we need all registrants' names to appear on the list. The previous iOS version of the app remembered the setting once a member changed it for one event, but the latest version (2.0) does not. As a result, members now have to set it to YES each time they register.

Thank You note in Event section
A thank you note for the Event section. We just completed an event last night and I wanted to thank those who attending for coming. I used a Reminder email but had to change the registration date in order activate the emails. Once the event is completed we are unable to use the emails in the Event section to address the people who have attended. I would like Wild Apricot to include a Thank You option with the event emails.

Vary the dates and times of WA Webinars
I am very interested in your webinars and would like to attend them. However, they are always held on Tuesday's at 1 pm my time, when I have other committments. Have you thought about varying the time and/or the day of the week so that those with commitments on Tuesdays have an opportunity to attend, too. There is no way you can accommodate everyone's schedule, but varying the days would allow everyone to attend sometimes. The recordings are a big help.

advanced search feature
the advanced search screen should include the name of the search selected; it should be possible to edit and save the search and use the same name--in other words, one should be able to overwrite the title of the search instead of the system saving two or more searches under the same name.

Allow admin to remove unused email subscription source
While were setting up email subscriptions for a few groups, we created a subscription source that was never used and is no longer needed. It still shows up in the list of subscription sources available for a contact. I'm concerned that a new admin might assign a person to an incorrect list. It would be very helpful to be able to remove any or all subscription sources.
