increasing member level invoice detail (transparency)
Currently member invoices have one fixed price, in our scenario the total sum due is made up from 5 components which can vary from year to year, to get the total price. i.e. gold member = $100 ( $30 sub, $40 levy, $5 levy, $5 levy, $20 levy ). levies are all mandatory.
Rather than use the work around of extra membership charges via membership fields, I feel this (1) should be included within the membership level editor? (2) I don't believe it is very robust and have concerns re retrospectively activating this and it not working?
The final invoice might look like;
Gold Member $30
Levy A $40
Levy B $5
Levy C $5
Levy D $20Total: $100

More Donation Receipt Email Options
The only two options are Payer and Organization Contact. Typically you would want at least a Treasurer or other Account Administrators to be notified of a donation transaction. Add additional email options (or CC field).

Make event guest name visible when they are a Member
Make the names of event guests visible on the "public" view of the Calendar. Currently only the name of the member doing the registration shows up, even if their "guest "is a registered Member ( usually a spouse), the guest name does not appear, simply the mention "+1 guest".

Improve Member Summary Data
The member summary list provides very misleading data during the membership renewal period. I know there is a lapse option but we tend to use it as our last resort email a couple of months after the initial request for renewal. During that time the "Active" and "Total" figures are very misleading and can only be accurately quantified by an excel export and pivot table.

If an event is free for member type 1 but not member type 2, please show both amounts above register button.
When an event fee is $0 for one registrant type and not $0 for another, e.g. for members and non-members, the $0 fee does not appear above the register button. Please add $0 or free to clarify. See current and proposed below.

Group should be an event setting
Group should be an event setting rather than just in the event emails. My limited admins keep emailing our entire membership because it is not obvious to them where to set the group in the event creation. It is much more intuitive to them for the group to be part of event creation. I don't necessarily need to restrict registration to a specific group, although I can see how it might be valuable. It's causing people to unsubscribe all messages when they get emails for events not directly for their group!

Setting limit on renewals
We have some life membership levels where people can choose to pay in full or pay monthly for a year. It would be nice to be able to have an option to limit payments for 12 renewal periods

Report of donations and invoice receipts
I need to be able to generate a report which gives me the TOTAL amount received from a SINGLE member, including donations and receipts from invoices. The only reports I can find only sort by category. The reason is that we are a 501c3 and all contributions are considered to be donations, even those which are payments for membership fees. It would be great if I could see how much every member has paid on the member page, but that page only shows total DONATIONS. On a related subject, it there a way to generate a statement which could be sent to members yearly showing the total received? This is required for tax purposes so that they can deduct the amount contributed. I would imagine this would be a very common need for your users.

Print version of newsletter matches the display (monitor) version
When we create a newsletter using the new email editor, it displays one way on desktop monitor but then prints out in the mobile device format. If someone prints out our newsletter to distribute we want it to display as it does on the computer monitor...not as it shows on a mobile device. Please fix...thank you!

De-confuse wording please!
Happy New Year!
This is a suggestion for a simple wording change. EVERY person I have taught to use WA gets confused by the existing wording:After clicking Email > Templates and selecting a particular template, newbies ALWAYS make the mistake of selecting "Edit Template" instead of "Send email" because they fear that "Send email" means the message is all ready to be sent!
This confusion can be avoided by changing "Send email" to "Create email" or better: "New email using template"

Editing event details
Please Please Please restore the ability to access the admin features of an event from its URL and from a calendar listing. Having to click on the home symbol and then find a class from the events list is wasting tons of time. What is the benefit of this recent change? It's not helpful.

Separate Nonmember levels from Member levels of Membership so they don't appear in Registration Types and Settings under Member
Allow addition of a nonmember level that won't show up in the admin view events "registration types and settings" sub-member section. When we make different member and nonmember rates for events, our admins have to remember to uncheck the nonmember box listed under members each time and they often forget since there's so much other nuances to work through

expiration
Allow 0 in the "Limit renewal to within --- days of expiration" field in the renewal policy of a membership level. Currently, the field allows positive integers only. The minimum value it accepts is 1. which allows members to renew 1 day before the membership expiry date. My organization does not want that.

WA Payments reconcile to monthly statement
Currently, Wild Apricot Payments is pretty good at taking credit card payments and processing them. When we receive our monthly statement from Affinipay (in Canada, it's actually Afinipay's sub-contractor FirstData), I can't get the individual payments to add up to WA's invoices or Affinipay's deposit data. This is important to prevent fraud and to know which invoices to chase for payment.
What I propose is adjusting the payment date in a WA invoice to be the date the money was actually deposited in our bank account.5 votes -
Unique identifier for each event registrant
Currently, each registrant to an event is assigned a WA serial number that isn't unique to the event. Abetter approach would be to assign each registrant a number, starting at 001, for that event. This number is unique to the event, so it's really easy to print name tags and do check-in. Currently, we have to export the registrant list and manually assign a registration number to each registrant. This is error-prone and computers are better at doing this than humans.
