More Flexible DKIM Support
Since WildApricot only supports sending mail from our domain, we also use a separate e-mail provider to allow both sending and receiving mail in our domain using standard mail applications and web clients. I expect that the situation is the same for most organizations using WildApricot.
In order to improve security, to hinder spamming and to prevent our domain mail from being blacklisted, we would like to add DKIM validation for that alternate. provider.
However, like WildApricot (and most mail providers) our mail service is hard-wired to use the DKIM selector "default". This is understandable, since they have no reason to assume that a large portion of their users would be using an additional mail service to send mail.
Unfortunately, Wild Apricot also insists on using the DKIM selector “default”, even though it is clear that most users will need an auxiliary mail service. Please either:
1. Change Wild Apricot's mail service to use a unique selector, e.g."wildapricot", instead of "default".
or
2. Prompt Admin When Invoice Already Exists and Membership Level Changes
We had a member with a membership level of Individual Membership who requested to change her membership level to Tiered Members for 3 Members. We changed her membership level. Then added the other two members to that bundle. When we did that, the big yellow pending renewal box with the invoice link disappeared from the the two members added to the bundle. Although the membership tab still showed open invoices for those two members, it wasn't nearly as obvious to the admin user. It would nice if the admin user was notified that "current invoice exists, do you want to void existing invoice". Without good internal notes, it would have been some time before we noticed these outstanding invoices.

Update Event Details page
Please UPDATE the EVENT Registration area of WA. It is very NON-user Friendly. See attached image of how a person has to scroll for miles to register.

Set default email subscription settings
When a new contact is added (even non-members), they are automatically subscribed to Event announcements and Email Blasts. There is no way to change this default. Currently, I have to go in and edit this for each contact. We should have the ability to change this default.

Add a field-level attribute that prevents duplicate field entry
Add a new attribute – something like “Enforce Uniqueness” – to the Common Fields setup window. It can be grouped under the Options heading just underneath the Required Field attribute. Users can tick mark the box or leave it unchecked. Then add some type of downstream verification check, ideally at the Dropdown List Level: When the user clicks into a field’s drop down list, check to see if Enforce Uniqueness is selected on that field. If Yes, compare the user’s selection from that list to the existing values for that field in the database. If there is a match (i.e., saving the selected value would result in a duplicate) then reject the entry and give the user a message like “The selected <name of field> already exists. Duplicates are not allowed.” Alternatively, it would be ok to check for duplicates when saving the contact data. WA is already doing field validation for Required Field during saving, so just extend that check for user fields deemed unique. It would be ideal to reject duplicates as early in the workflow as possible but checking during saving would also work.
ps. The creation of duplicate contacts is the biggest challenge we have with the system. Reward members
it will be good it we can check who attends the event and get some reward at the end of the year to send who is the one who participates most event. also the one who create most post on the forum, the one who reply the most this year etc...

Member to all members internal mass communications
Not sure if it is here already here, but an internal [post login] member to all members communication like a list serve is badly needed. Members can connect with 1 on 1, but a way to communicate to all members wo option in for members to members communications is needed badly!
- member logs in
- member selects send message to all members
- member composes message and it is sent to all members opted in to receive mass members communications
- messages can be flag to admin
- admin can set to moderate messages first before they send
- members must login to access, view, and reply to mass messages

Increase lenght of answers in Polls
We use the membership poll for elections, which works great! But we also use the poll so that members can vote on proposed bylaws amendments. The body of the poll is limited on space. It would be great if this was not limited. Each question in the Q & A portion is also limited. Could there be an option for an unlimited question text box which would allow us to enter the current bylaw language and the proposed bylaw language the allow the user to vote. Not all questions are short and sweet. I think all users would appreciate the flexibility to add a question to the poll that was an unlimited text box.

Extend API to allow updating fields on an existing Event
The swagger pages show the get options but nothing to update an event
Primarily I would like an option to disable the registrations at the event level as there is no front end feature to disable registration by x days before the event, the admin of editing multiple events with multiple registrations types is cumbersome and subject to errors
POST /accounts/{accountId}/events/{event id}
With the body containing the filed(s) to be updated and the valuesIf the API extension is not an option please consider adding this feature to the front end.

Change default mail list from All Contacts to Selected contacts to avoid a mistake
Can you please change the default radio button when sending Emails to "Selected Contacts" rather than "All Contacts"? People make mistakes and send email sprays far too easily. Selected Contacts forces a next decision to be made which will slow people down and think about where they are sending things.

Allow event registration edits without having to confirm without invoice. Currently, if I make any type of edit to an existing registration, after I save it, the system generates a new confirmation email. This only happens for registered attendees that I have provided a complimentary registration and there is no correlating invoice.

Allow Button for links in Event Details
Registration for our event is through an external website that certifies attendance. So we are not using the WA registration button. I want to put a link on the Event Page in button format that will link to the external registration site. There is no way to add a button to the Event Details.

Fixed tax rates
This is not per se a new feature or improvement idea, but more like a rant.
We have members from all over Canada and some even from across. We are using Wild Apricot for the membership management, and it works great. Once or twice a year we have an event such as a conference. We create the event and sell "tickets" for the event with Wild Apricot as well. To give you an idea, this year the event will be held in Ottawa, ON. It blows my mind that we cannot set the fixed 13% tax rate on the "tickets" we are selling, which by law we must do for the in-person conference. Right now we disabled the tax option in the event settings and manually added 13% tax on top of the registration prices, however this will generate more work for me in a later stage whereas registrants want to reimburse registration fees with their employers. Employers want receipts that include the tax rates etc. as well.
It would be great if Wild Apricot would add that option to the system as well.
To make it a little more difficult, due 2 Covid we offer 2 different types of registration. Just the regular registration where registrants attend the conference, which should be taxed with the tax rate in whatever province the conference is held. The other option is a hybrid ticket where registrants will "join" from their computer at home and for those we have to tax the rate of the province where the registrants are living.

Match Font Families in Different Editors
I am fine with the limited selection of font families, with long experience working on the web before we had all the web fonts. What I'm really struggling with is matching font families and general styling between the new editor and the older automatic email editor.
For example, our chosen website theme uses Open Sans. Great all around sans serif font. I can also use it in manual emails so that they are styled much like our website. But automatic emails do not have a similar or even decent sans serif font ('Basic' is just ugly) so I chose Trebuchet. Now the problem is that event email mix up the two, using what's available with automatic emails (Trebuchet) but including event details that match the website (Open Sans). The result looks amateur and like we don't know how to use this system.
And don't get me started on the color picker. One editor has our theme colors all right there! The other forces me to find, copy, and paste the hex code for every single hyperlink so they better match the colors and logo.

Ability to edit event visibility from main admin page
It would be amazing to be able to edit event visibility from the main page, instead of needing to open each event individually. This would make it easier to open registration for events that were built in admin-only view, as well as archive previous events.

Additional information for the saved searches, last run, last updates, etc.
Provide metrics to assist in managing Saved Searches such as last time run, average run frequency, if the search is linked an area on the webpage and/or allow description field similar to what is offer in groups. This would help in periodically cleaning up Saved Searches.
