Financial Reset to Zero Option
Our payments for invoices and event fees are paid by either cheque in the mail, cash at the events, or sometimes by Visa on line.
As our organization is volunteer, the recording of all payments is kept in an excel file, as it has been to laboursome for our volunteer administrators to spend the time to update all that info into the Wildapricot system.
Ya.. I know.... But we are trying to get better at that.
Our memberships go from Feb to Feb with a reset on annual membership.
Because of this, it does not matter to us what happened last year, we are only concerned with th coming year.
As Members do not always come back every year, or payments ot recorded, when someone goes to renew a membership in the new year, the system tells them they still owe money from pre ious years. This is frustrating for them.
As there are simply too many invoices to go back through and void or record payment, i would like to see this....
A RESET to zero dollars owed and zero dollars collected for all members.
Then every year, we RESET the finances to Zero for the new year.
I hope to get to a point some day, where everything happens on line, but as our events occur in non-cell-service areas, there will always be a cash aspect at our events, that would ned to be updated back into the website system.
As we are volunteer based, an annual RESET would help us keep the system clean and up to date.

Improved Membership Application Design
Right now I feel that the current membership application does not allow for enough customization. It is a very basic layout. Users need the ability to better "SELL" their membership. This means the ability to customize layout, feel, look, add images, etc. See a few site membership forms below. I am selling a similar product and right now they are able to better advertise their membership. Also I hate that I can't view and edit each page just a person would be going through when clicking the next button in the application process.

export registrants automatic
On the Export Registrants button, can we have a way to have these reports generated automatically say the day before the event and go to the event organizer? Currently we can only access this with an Admin.
The alternative for us would be the ability to choose which information is displayed in Public View for the Registrants list.

Restrict the number of members from same organization to register to an event
We have member organisations that have up to 5 members registered. However, some of our events are limited so that only 1 person from that organisation can attend. How can we block multiple registrations from the same organisation?

event registration gadget
I didn't see this listed - but I was hoping for a quick-register button gadget - so you can quickly add a 'Register Now' button on any page for a specific event

Add text field(s) to Registration form for instructions
There are SO many things wrong with the Registration form itself. I'm aware that we can change a few things such as button text and page heading ("e.g., Enter guest registration information) globally by using JavaScript workarounds, but they're global and not always appropriate.
Background: Our organization has certain events for familys and others for singles. Families we want on one form. Singles should (usually) register separately. This is for a variety of reasons ranging from data management to legal.
The only way to present instructions is to globally present them above the form. Instructions are extensive, so that becomes tedious and imposing, especially since they must deal with all possible types of Registrations and Events. Some instructions would be better presented where they apply, and depending on the actual form. See next point.
Desperately needed: A field consisting simply of instruction text or a note. Some fields do allow for a note, but it is in GRAY (???!!) type, extremely small, below the data box (it should be above or to the left, so they see it before typing). In any case, that's not sufficient. We also need to deliver text such as "Fill out this section only if you are staying overnight." Or whatever.

iFrame Gadget
Please provide a gadget to easily insert external content. Creating iframes through html is very simple for those who know how but not for most clients who are not tech savvy.
I envision the gadget being fluid in width having the following settings:
- id
- class
- Title
- URL
- Height
- border
- scrollbars
- padding
- margins

Installable Custom Gadgets
Please add the ability for developers to create custom gadgets that clients can upload to their websites. The API opens up so many opportunities to extend the features of the site, and the ability to create and distribute custom gadgets that tap into a custom service would be extremely beneficial to all.

Export capability from member search gadget
Provide the optional ability (controlled by a setting in the gadget) for non administrators to export the data from a member list (or contact) search to a spreadsheet. Do not allow any field selection, just export the fields in the search results

Allow to settle a refund from within refund details page
Every time I do a refund, I then need to click "back" to get to a "Settle" button. Why not just show it on an unsettled refund details page? See example image...

Embed LinkedIn login option as one of the preferred website login options
As you know, many HR and Business professionals (particularly Recruiters/Talent Acquisition specialists) leverage LinkedIn as their preferred social network of choice, and use the LinkedIn login utility (instead of Facebook or Google+) as a means to login to jobsites (Indeed), professional/society webpages, etc..
Can the LinkedIn login also appear on the Wild Apricot client's webpage, as one of the login options?

choose transactions (not dates) to be exported to QuickBooks.
I would like to see a button that says "export transactions since last time exported" instead of choosing a date(s) to transfer information to QuickBooks. If I transfer membership invoices and payments on a certain date and then someone comes along and renews a short time later I have to export that entire day again. So when I have to export that day again QuickBook assigns the invoice numbers twice and I have to go into QB and delete the 2nd invoice numbers.

Better and easier ways to sort photos in Photo Albums
More intuitive, interactive sorting method for the albums; e.g. drag and drop. The alphabetical change a year ago is a big plus. Thank you. But in addition, a drag and drop (or move) of the 'icons' would be great.

Allow custom codes to membership levels like the events.
Need a sponsorship page that is like the join us page and sponsorship level form and fields that allows you to add predefined amount levels and an ala carte level that the sponsor can put in their own amount that they would like to contribute.

Members to specify their privacy settings during membership application
I would like for new members to be able to specify their privacy settings during membership application process. More specifically, the setting that I am looking for is "Show profile to others".
