Social Media Embedding
Hi,
just a suggestion for a future addon, I know you guys are busy :)
For 'Gadgets' adding multimedia, i think it would be great to add your personal 'YouTube channel' page via a widget. Also for all social media accounts, so when the owner of the social media accounts updates, it reflects straight onto the website and updates automatically like 'feeds'.
Some things to have as addons for social media widgets

anyway, you guys are doing an amazing job. I'm still have a fair bit of work to do before the website is up, won't be till christmas, when we offer our service, but the above will help with the service i offer.
as its all run via social media. Keeps everyone up to speed.

Make Forum and Topic subscriptions consisten
The inconsistency of subscribing to forums vs. topics is very confusing and difficult to explain to members.
Current behavior for subscribing:
You subscribe to forum on the forum page and then go to your Profile to change frequency. When you Create a Topic you get an option to subscribe and set frequency on the new topic page and don't need to go to your profile. Why can't you do the same for the Forum?Emails:
If you subscribe to a forum you only get the titles as a summary. If you subscribe to the Topic you get the full post. This is very confusing.In general, conversations via forums is a very important part of a member community and WA's forum implementation needs a lot of improvement. I hope that you devote time to all the other suggestions in this area.

Membership cards - ability to save more than one template
The newly available Membership Card functionality is definitely and improvement. What would make it even better? Allow us to create multiple templates that could be filtered by Member Level, or Group Participation. Thanks.

Change "Guests" to "Teams" and make mandatory field
We are registering school teams for a competition. We'd like to be able to either change the word "Guests" to "Teams", or have another option other than "Guests". Also, we'd like to make the field mandatory -- we had schools register, but they didn't see "Guests" all the way at the bottom, even with highlighted reminders, so they didn't register their teams. If it could be made to be a required field, they wouldn't miss what is at the bottom of the page.

sorting events (specific "tags") by end date
We are utilizing the “tag” feature in “events” to create different calendar-type listings on our webpage. One tag is “programs” so that we can have an actual event calendar. The other tag we are using is “grants” because we have created a page listing available grants in our state.
I would love for there to be a way to change JUST the grants tag to be listed in order of the “End Date” since that is the date most important to grant seekers – the date that the grant application period closes.
Perhaps if not to sort the grants listings by “end date” perhaps there is a way to eliminate the search by date feature completely (again, JUST in the grants tag or on the specific grants page we have created) so that folks would have to click on the title to view any dates at all.
I think the tags are a great functionality, but i'd like to see them be developed further for expanded use for all purposes they are being used for.

Membership cards through confirmation emails

I live in a retirement community, and most of our members will never log onto the site or get a password. It would be really useful if I could somehow put a link or actually put a personalized membership card on the system-generated email I send to new and renewing members. The email already accesses their information, of course. See attached for the email we send through the system. If this nice card could be on there, that would be efficient and terrific. Keep Membership card to smartphone (like Wallet app on iPhone)
Export a membership card to smart phone (the iOS one is called wallet I think), Then members could store it with their boarding passes etc, and show when necessary at participating retailers to collect their membership discount.

Printing Membership cards in bulk
Membership cards are great and I like that members can print their own. I would like to see a feature where the administrator can print all member cards in bulk to card stock like Avery so we can laminate the cards for appearance.

QR / Barcodes on the Membership Card
I've just had a look at the membership cards facility. Great development. But I currently print membership badges with the UserID formatted as a barcode (code39). Members are scanned in to meetings with a barcode zapper (the number goes straight into a spreadsheet). Saves the queue at the door.

Advanced Search field needed: Latest Registration Date
Apparently there is no way to search Contacts for Latest Registration Date?
Why is this missing? For example, there ARE criteria for Latest Donation Date and for Last Login Date. None for Registrations.
I realize we could check off specific events since a certain date, but that is a monstrous chore, and the checkmarks aren't sticky. Even if I save that checklist as a "dummy" search for use later, all the checks disappear if I try to modify it (which might be necessary if only because we've added a more recent event).
It would be some help if we could at least check off a big block of events by clicking with the Control or Shift key, as is possible on many other selection lists.
Our only recourse is to export data to a spreadsheet and move data or records back and forth, which is even more of a pain, requiring expertise and ripe for error. (The point of using WA is to avoid spreadsheets, remember? ;-) ...)
One reason why we need it: People who haven’t registered for an event in the past two or three years would be good candidates for Archiving.

View Email Queue Status in the form of line graph
The ability to see the email queue delivery status in the form of a line graph. Sometimes, it takes forever for it to be delivered and members inquire about not receiving the emails. Can we view the length of time it may or is taking for an email to be delivered?

Current situation
Various account templates populate a site with demo content to help users explore and understand how Wild Apricot works, but this content has to be manually and individually updated/deleted.Desired

Custom Confirmation Email for each Email Subscription Form
I love that each email subscription form creates a subscription type that can have email blasts manually sent to those who subscribe via that form.
However, all subscription forms have the same confirmation email, which doesn't allow me to customize their welcome to the email list, and may even confuse new subscribers.
Please enable custom confirmation emails for each email subscription form.

Predictive search dropdown
We want a field with all the colleges in the US. It would be nice if this had predictive search where someone could type a few letters and it would show some relevant results. This list is too long for a dropdown and there are too many variations of college names for a text field. Also, if someone attended a school not on the list, it would be nice if other was an option and someone could type in their school.

business card
I started Tucson Business Networking on Facebook on July 1. I currently have over 1,110 members and need to expand it soon to a website and electronic directory. It is extremely important to me to allow the member to import his/her business card to the directory. I am on a 30-day trial as of this evening and would like to transfer to a paid membership within the trial period. Do you currently have this feature or can you add it soon?

Make safer sending mass emails - e.g. allow to halt after sending
Whenever sending a system email there should be a confirmation box. ie "yes i want to send this email."
There should also be an option to HALT a sending of a mass emailing SOMEWHERE in your system. I just sent out a mass email to the entirety of my membership that was meant to be sent as a draft to ME ALONE and I was none to happy to find out there was no halt sequence....

"Print Invoice" after event Review and Confirm page
After a person registers for an event using the "Invoice me" option there seems to be some confusion as to what to do after the "Review and confirm" page. Instead of saying their registration is complete and what to do with the invoice, they are presented with a link to view their registrations, Pay online, or New registration. Can there be a couple more options added: "print the invoice" and "finished"? Or a clear message that lets them know their registration is complete and the Print Invoice button?
This would let the registrant know they have successfully registered for the event and that the process is complete.Thank you.

Ability to send emails in smaller batches of contacts vs one full group
When we create an email, and want to send it to the entire membership, we would like the option of sending in smaller batches in hopes of getting a higher open rate.
