forum gadget permissions
Problem with permissions after adding new member levels. We had new members that weren't allowed full access because there was another step to adjust permissions in the forum gadget. So under Discussion forum gadget there needs to be a ALL LEVELS option like there is for other gadgets. It gets really difficult when there are multiple places to go and edit permissions anytime we make additions to our website like this.

Table color choice window does not have the pre-defined list of colors
I love how the color picker windows have a list of colors at the top that go with my theme - very easy to make it look good. However, this is missing from the color picker window for a table. It would be nice to have it there instead of having to go into the HTML code just to make the colors match.

Make it easier for a new member to sign up as part of existing bundle / organization
A suggestion that I would like to make now is to make it easier for a new member to sign up and be part of an existing bundle. Here is my current workflow, and the problem.
My organization has individual members, and corporate memberships, which are bundles with 10 possible places, one being the admin.
As it stand now, when new member signs up, and chooses corporate membership, they are assigned as a new bundle administrator and asked to pay the full corporate membership fee. There is no mechanism to have them be assigned to an existing bundle when they fill out the new member form.
Another problem that I have with the bundle administration is changing someones bundle status. When a new member signs up, they are assigned to a new bundle as an administrator. In order to make them a part of an existing bundle, the process is extremely unclear. You actually have to change them from a corporate member, which is the bundle membership, to an individual member, and then choose to add them to a bundle. The only choices you are given there is a list of the bundle administrators, which doesn’t help you know which company they are a part of. This part really, really needs some help.A suggestion that I would like to make now is to make it easier for a new member to sign up and be part of an existing bundle. Online Payment pulls ALL invoice amounts
Online payment issue: My my members are finding that their whole balance shows in Pay Pal (all events etc- EVEN THOUGH they have seleced INVOICE ME on some of these these) when trying to purchase one small item (in this case a $30 shirt). This has not happened in past years. Yes, I've just found out that they can log in and uncheck invoices but HOW would they know that and WHY should they have to??? They already selected INVOICE ME. If there is a way we can reset payments please fill me in. We pay a fee to use paypal and then another to refund. This is not good and 4 weeks from our biggest event of the year, terrible timing. Please help.

system email for change to event location
I would like for the system to send out an automatic email when important details about an event are changed (date/time/location). Currently we can click to send an announcement/reminder, but it doesn't actually call out what was changed so the information will likely be overlooked compared to an email with a subject like Date/Time/Location Changed: [name of event].

Generate a 990 EZ form from your financial data
The 990 EZ is an IRS form for exemption from income tax. Filling them out is a lot of work. How about an option to generate a 990 EZ draft, filling out some of the fields based on the year's annual revenue, sales, company name, tax ID, donations, etc...just anything to reduce the pain point of this monster document. If you need to have a message box alert that says something like "Its your responsibility to ensure the accuracy and this is only a draft to help you get started with your local accountant".

Set a different email to go out before each session
I'd like to have more options for sending out emails related to events when there are multiple sessions for a single event.
I need to be able to set a different email to go out before each session. Right now the only options are to send the same email out before every session or send an email out only before the first session.

Column width options - Results layout
I want ability adjust the width of each column for Results Layout. Currently the column widths are not within my control, which results in wrapped fields in some columns and mostly empty fields in other columns. See two attached files - current display and mock up of customizing column width.

continue to invoice member for each renewal period
Many membership organizations (golf clubs, etc.) have policies to continue invoicing members even in the event that a member fails to pay the invoice for the preceding membership term. The primary reason that organizations do this is that their membership policies have been tailored to cover the underlying fixed costs faced by the organization. In such organizations the policy generally is to require that the member opt out of the membership by communicating that intention in some fashion to the organization, rather than simply by stopping payment.
Currently on Wild Apricot if a member does not pay an invoice the system will not issue a new invoice for the next period. For an organization operating on communicated opt out policy this adds workload to the administrators; in order to generate new invoices an administrator has to renew each membership and issue the new invoice manually. This proposal is to allow memberships to continue to be renewed and have invoices generated, even if the invoices for previous terms have not been paid. Within each membership level this would be an option that could be toggled on or off and it would have a period count for how many periods of unpaid invoices would be generated before the membership is tagged as suspended or lapsed.
As a developing a web store is under consideration, some consideration should be given to adding this proposed functionality to renewable services purchased through the store as well.

calendar tooltip
Our event titles are longer than are allowed to be displayed on the calendar. Create an option to select to have the event title added to the tooltip so that instead of only seeing date & location on mouseover, you see title, date, & location.

gray out past events
We show our past events on the calendar, but it is not visually obvious which ones are past vs future. I would like two additional options for past events: showing as gray, or showing as % saturation. This would make past vs future easier to see at a glance.

Provide easy way to transfer a registered contact to the waitlist
The new waitlist facility is a welcome addition, however it does not fully cater for the way we operate.
We ask as many contacts as possible to register for events. Selection to participate is at the discretion of the event organiser and not on a first-come, first-served basis. To activate the waitlist, we limit the number of registrations after they have been received and then move those not selected to the waitlist
The only option for Admins to add waitllist registrations is to create a new entry. If an Admin wishes to move to the waitlist someone who has already been registered, all the registration data previously provided has to be re-entered. It should be possible to transfer a registered contact to the waitlist

Integration with Meetup
Integration with Meetup for non-programmers. Meetup's market power comes from its Facebook-like ability to inform Meetup users of similar Meetups happening in their geographic area or in the user's area of interest; it is superior to Facebook in its ability to organize actual activities. If it were not for these features, Meetup could be ignored by Wild Apricot users. Position Meetup as a feeder market for selling Wild Apricot (WA) services to Meetup groups that have grown to the point of needing more sophisticated member management and website integration, without relying upon programmers.
1) Map WA user logon authentication with Meetup user ids similar to WA’s existing ability with Facebook and Google+.
2) Map WA membership levels and administrative levels to Meetup organizer (i.e. Meetup administrator) levels.
3) Allow Meetup events or proposed events to show up as WA events and vice versa.
a. Map certain WA event registration types to Meetup event registrations (at least free registrations but allowing fee charging registrations should be investigated even if the payment will go through the Meetup group itself) while keeping other WA reservation types exclusive to WA resources. WA event registration types that map to Meetup would be open to event registration to Meetup users, with the registration slots being taken on Meetup showing up as registrants, or at least as slots taken, on WA.
b. WA would need to complete its planned project of allowing members to submit events and map this to the Meetup system for doing the same. Most likely events mapped to Meetup would be created on WA first then mapped to Meetup but the alternate approach of allowing Meetup events to be created and mapping to limited versions of WA events should be considered.
c. Allow WA to have proposed events waiting for confirmation from the event organizer about when and where it will happen. Map this to Meetup events that are waiting for a time. As a part of this allow even mere contacts to propose events even if the event will require an actual member to finally organize the event itself.4) Add to WA venue booking and allow administrators and members with the right level of access to add these venues to events, then map the venues into the Meetup representation of the WA events. Meetup allows organizers to define a restricted list of venues that a group will use but it does not treat these venues as bookable resources. WA has user proposals for including bookable resources but currently has no such feature. WA could offer administrators and members with the right membership levels to book organization-defined resources (a conference room, a boat, etc.) and then to place those resources as the venue or one of several venues for an event. This could then be mapped into the Meetup equivalent of the WA event.
WA is currently superior to Meetup in terms of overall website design, sub-group creation and management, contact and member search, email blast management, more sophisticated administrator privileges, membership billing and accounting, allowing differing membership levels, allowing differing event registration types, and offering more payment processing options. Meetup is currently superior to WA in terms of publicizing a group’s existence and a group’s events to non-group members, allowing group members or even contacts to self-organize events, and it has a more attractive user interface for some of these functions.
Wild Apricot’s major selling point to us is that it offers a lot of integration without relying upon programmers, however there are powerful social media that organizations need to connect to and do so in an integrated fashion without requiring programming. We cannot ignore them. We are currently investigating using Meetup as a public front end for our organization along with Facebook but integration is a major hurdle with both social media systems.
