    Hello everyone!

    As CMS crew we are responsible for the whole process of your website creation within WA and content editing. Recently we had to look at our color picker and review it’s functionality. We’ve listed ideas for improvement, but we would really love to ask our clients - how important this change is for you? Please look at presentation linked below with list of changes we propose.   2. add a Q&A type forum for the user community

    WA used to have a forum on this page where users could ask questions & get feedback & suggestions from Admin and experienced users. I miss that. I used it often as a new WA users to get tip & advice on how best to setup & use WA. The Wishlist doesn't really address this as it is, as I understand it, a forum for new feature suggestions. What I am looking for is a forum where users can exchange ideas, etc on the current version of the program.

  3. Void invoices (i.e. do not automatically erase invoices)

    Current Situation
    Invoices can only be created, edited, settled or deleted. And if a registration is cancelled the original invoice will also be erased.

    Desired:
    Ability to ‘Void' invoices. I.e. when an event registration is cancelled, the invoice will not be deleted but be switched to a "voided" status and as a result any payments associated with the invoice will be unsettled.

  4. Waitlist Export Option

    We need the ability to export our waiting list participants into an excel spreadsheet. Currently it only pulls the class registrants with no option to add or pull the waiting list.

  6. Provide simple site use instructions for members

    We have just joined and created a great website that includes profile management, news blogs, event registration and forums. One of the reason we chose WA was members could interact with all of these features without admin intervention. The WA help seems to be oriented to Admins, not users. I now have to develop user friendly instructions on how to use these features. I could not find user instructions on WA and recommend drafts for end user use of the gadgets.

  7. Add a reminder/warning to the PayPal payment screen that payment is not made until the Pay Button is clicked.

    We are having a problem with users not completing the payment screen. I have attached a screenshot. Quite a few of our users believe they have completed their purchase after entering their PayPal information when they are brought back to this screen. They are required to click on the blue button to confirm the payment. Is there a way for us to customize this page to make it more apparent to the user that an additional action is needed? Thanks in advance for your help.

  8. Additional data needed in Financial Exports

    We need to produce a report for our accountant similar to what can now be exported under the Finance tab, but with more information.

    We need the excel export of financial data to be able to allow the selection of custom fields for donations. In particular we have a required donation field called "Fund" and need to know to which fund the donation should be applied in this report. For events we need, at the least, to have a column in the donation for the event name. And for memberships we need to know the membership level for the payment.

  9. Email Divider in Editing

    When composing an email blast, I include several different topics of announcements. I'd like the divider tool, which is available in the webpage editor, in the emails as well so to make a solid line dividing different sections of the email.

  10. Stop showing the UTC in the calendar

    Can we stop UTC showing up in the calendar and emails?
    It is confusing people who are trying to work out what the time function is on. I didn't know what UTC was, I had to look it up.

    If This Then That opens up a host of integration possibilities. By working with them, users can make their own integrations with other supported systems, reducing the workload (and budget) required for Wild Apricot to implement integrations internally.

  12. Allow Renewal Invoice Generation without Emailing

    Currently, renewal notices are automatically emailed.

    Our members are used to getting renewal notices in the mail. Some of them don't read their email; a few don't even have it. So we want to be able to mail out the renewal notices, and not confuse them with an emailed invoice.

    It might not be so bad if the renewal invoice could be customized by itself, but there's only one template for all invoices including events and renewals.

    Anyway, we'd like to separate the options to generate the renewal invoice and to email it.

  13. allow search to function on the "photo" field.

    It is currently not possible to search for all members with the field "photo" field not equal to "empty", or to do any other sort of search on this field.

    One obvious application would be to have the "Featured Member" widget in a member directory only show photos that actually exist. Currently, if half the members lack a photo, half of the "photos" shown will be just gray/blank profiles. It would be far better to only show photos of members who actually have photos!

  14. Email non-members

    I can easily filter contacts in the simple search by non-members. However, the only way to save a search is in the advanced search and there is no contact criteria, only member criteria. I want to be able to email all non-members that are in our contact database. I've searched the site and cannot find anything.

    In Contacts, use Advanced search, choose “Contact properties” search criteria, “none of selected” and check “Member”. This’ll do.

  15. Email Template Upgrades

    Please help

    I provide links to news items in our newsletter but it only connects to the news page where there are many news items and not the direct page that I am copying and pasting into the newsletter.

    After inserting a picture one can't click settings and adjust it until the template has been saved and then gone into for re-editing.

    Need a simpler drag from corner way to adjust an image.

    Need better template options for a newsletter. Easier way to drop a logo at the top of these templates compared to typing in text for a company…

  16. Fix picture orientation from mobile devices

    When we upload an image from an iPad or iPhone or any other Android/Windows mobile device, the Wild Apricot software should check the EXIF data and determine if the image needs to be orientated. This would prevent uploaded images from showing in the message in the incorrect orientation (ie: upside down or sideways).

  18. Invoices and payments improvements in member's profile

    On the contact (not in admin mode) “invoices and payments” web page under the contact’s profile there are three column labels: “Date”, “Transaction”, and “Balance Due”.
    Below this is a list of the financial transactions for the contact. When the contact makes donations the donation appears in the Transaction column as expected. However in the “Balance Due” column the amount of the donation appears. This is very confusing, misleading and incorrect. The column title should read “Amount”, not “Balance Due” since sometimes the amount is due and other times it is a donation. It does not appear that I have…

  19. PDF for the official tax Donation Receipt

    We are just in the midst of switching over to wild apricot and I was very disappointed that when donations are made there is no option to send the official tax receipt as a PDF as it is not secure to send it as an email since it is too easy to change up the donation amount and date ect. Our current system sends an email after donation had been received thanking them and then letting them know they will receive a their tax receipt in another email attached as PDF please see email below

    We have released the functionality of directly getting PDF of financial documents (Invoices, Donation receipts) in recent 8.10 release. As of now it's just a PDF of email, but we plan to make it separate customizable document in future versions.

  20. Photo Album summary widget / multiple albums on a single page
