New functionality and design for color picker
As CMS crew we are responsible for the whole process of your website creation within WA and content editing. Recently we had to look at our color picker and review it’s functionality. We’ve listed ideas for improvement, but we would really love to ask our clients - how important this change is for you? Please look at presentation linked below with list of changes we propose. If you have any comments, please leave them here, we would love to hear your feedback. If you think that this change is rather important - please vote for it.

Hi there, this idea is long overdue for an update, sorry for such a long pause.
Last week we released the new Quick customization panel for ‘Colors and styles’ functionality. As part of these changes, we also included a new color picker there, as the first step, one of the places in product where we use color picker.
This changes are currently available just for Skyline and Whiteboard themes but will be rolled out to other themes in the coming weeks.
Happy to hear your feedback.
Thanks for your votes and comments.

i am using the kaleidoscope theme and there doesn't appear to be a way to either change the theme colors or save custom colors in the color picker. i would like to specify a palette of colors and be able to select them easily from the color picker. i know i can specify a custom color but i'm not going to type a hex code in every time i want those colors. is this the functionality you just rolled out to some themes and not others?

I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is definitely a needed change and I like the ability to specify RGB in addition to hex. Right now I'm using one application to use an eyedropper to identify a specific color and a second to find hex codes for the colors I want and this would eliminate that need. The most important feature to me though is the custom color palette although I'd prefer to just be able to edit the theme colors and that would eliminate the need for me for the custom color palette.

This would be fantastic. Makes choosing the correct colour a lot easier, especially easier for the average person who doesn't use hex codes.
i really would like this as I use it all the time with Photoshop and it is very frustrating not be able to pick exactly the colors you want.
