    can we set a minimum registration required? we want to have at least 6 (or 20) or any number to run this event, and we will cancel otherwise.

  2. Show first session only in Upcoming Events gadget

    We offer classes for homeschooling kids. I want to have several upcoming events gadgets around the website showing which classes are starting soon. But I can't do that because it shows all the sessions of a class. So if Class A starts in 1 week and Class B starts in 3 weeks, then I get a gadget full of Class A sessions and Class B never even shows up. So I have to create and continually update manual upcoming events lists on multiple pages and it's pretty tedious. I would love to see a way to show only the first…

    Integration with Meetup for non-programmers. Meetup's market power comes from its Facebook-like ability to inform Meetup users of similar Meetups happening in their geographic area or in the user's area of interest; it is superior to Facebook in its ability to organize actual activities. If it were not for these features, Meetup could be ignored by Wild Apricot users.   4. Ensure important event emails are delivered to ALL registrants

    Sometimes we have very important information to share with all registrants for an event - e.g., a time or location change. Great - go the event, select "Email registrants", and you're done. EXCEPT... anybody that's opted out of emails DOES NOT RECEIVE this important update. My request is to provide a way for these important "event update" emails to be delivered - perhaps by categorizing them differently than marketing-related emails.

  5. Event Email Notifications - Default Members vs. All Contacts

    When you plan an event and announcement emails, the default is ALL CONTACTS, these include other people who may have registered for one previous event and don't want to be spammed for every other event.

    It would be better if the default was ALL MEMBERS and ability to select other types of contacts.

    We still use (other) Contacts for future events that would be of interest to them.

  6. Allow additional info on each session of a multi-session event

    Many thanks for the multi-event capability in 5.6! We offer classes that typically run 5 or 6 sessions, so it's an excellent enhancement for us. Now we would like to be able to add a short info blurb (maybe a hover note?) to each session to tell a little about what the topic of that session will be.

  7. Add to calendar that doesn't require a file download

    People are used to being able to just click a button to add events to their calendar as opposed to needing to download a file and follow a bunch of additional steps. Can we please simplify the add to calendar feature since it's such a significant feature for memberships?

  8. Limit event registration by membership type using annual inventory

    We limit attendance at events based on membership level on an annual basis.

    Example:
    Bronze = 2 events/year
    Silver = 4 events/year
    Platinum = 6 events/year

    It would be great if the system could track qty available and qty used and limit event announcements and registrations from those members who have used all available qty for the year.

  9. Members who are in arrears can't register for events? Since when? How inconvenient is this?

    I don't know of a single association that doesn't have members in arrears past their renewal date that are kept on the books. Someone had the bright idea to automatically keep members out of events if they're past their registration date. In theory, I understand why this was a requested change, though I can't remember seeing the request. But a toggle should be made either in the setup on the backend or for each event to allow pending members register for an event. I mean, common sense, people!   10. invite individual contacts to an event

    It would be incredibly helpful to invite individual contacts rather than saved contact groups to events. We often hand pick individuals to certain events and I am currently unable to send invitations via the event notification.

  11. auto-fill contact info for events

    Along the lines of auto-filling, I was asked whether our members could have events registrations autofilled since all their contact info is already n the membership database. We have many events per year and it would be nice if folks didn't have to re-type everything, every time. It would also avoid the inevitable typos.

  12. Change Event Details Contact from Org Contact to Event Organizer

    Currently, when a member views an existing registration, they see a link "To change or cancel, contact administrator." The link emails the default Organization contact, usually the webmaster.

    It makes more sense to have that link email the Event organizer.

    The Organization contact isn't likely to be involved in every event, particularly in a large organization. So in addition to all his/her other jobs, he now has to handle every request for a reservation change for every event, even if only to forward it to an administrator.

  13. Fields in Registration Forms

    Fields in Registration Forms need a "disable" option so we can cut off sign-ups for paper submission (academic conference) three or so weeks before the event, and also cut off sign-ups for meals a few days before the event (because of caterer deadlines). Right now the only way to handle this is to backup the registration data (i.e., put it into "Excel Hell") and then delete the field, thus loosing the data it held. Better yet would be to have a date-specified cutoff such as is available for Registration Types.

    There is the integration available with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows.

    We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them allows you to copy Wild Apricot events into google calendar. So you can share this google calendar and your members can subscribe to it.

    Members and Non-Members of our club register for outdoor trips and events. We need a printable list for the trip leader to carry when away from electronic devices which has custom registrant details from their profiles - like phone numbers. The available reports and layout for Registrants do not provide this option. The reply from support contained this: "Unfortunately, you can only apply custom result layout to member-related searches. This feature is not available for event and regular contact searches."

  16. display only the one instance of a multi-session event

    Currently, if we have a multi-session event in progress and other events scheduled for later, all sessions in the event are shown in the event list gadget.
    For example, we have Event 1, Sessions 1-5, followed by Event 2, Event 3, Event 4, Event 5, and so on.
    The event list gadget is set to show 5 events.
    We get
    Event 1, Session 2
    Event 1, Session 3
    Event 1, Session 4
    Event 1, Session 5
    Event 2

    Events 3, 4, and 5 don't show up.

    I'd like to have a way to show only Event 1, 2, 3, 4,…

    Hello Wonderful Apricots!

    I have a request. Our events offer special prices for sponsoring tables of 8 and 10 guests respectively. The registration type allows users to manually enter a number of guests but many don't, but we need a get a proper head count. Currently, if someone purchases a table for 8, it only shows up as 1 guest on the list.

    Is there a way for this to be hard coded into the Registration Type?

  20. Copying events: changing event dates relative to new start date

    When copying an existing event to create a new one, it would be even better if the process would be able to change all the dates related to the event relative to the new event date.

    Currently, you have to go in and change all the Registration type open or closing dates which can easily be overlooked when copying an event. It would be great if the system could maintain the same dates relative to the new date of the event being created.
