invite individual contacts to an event
It would be incredibly helpful to invite individual contacts rather than saved contact groups to events. We often hand pick individuals to certain events and I am currently unable to send invitations via the event notification.

I agree. I'm trying to see if I can create email lists allowing me to send different emails to people who have already signed up for an conference and those we are still hoping will do so.

I like this idea - individuals or based on some other field, like a custom field - where the event has a targeted audience - some people don't like getting so many emails that are not relevant to them
