  1. Ability to set Default value for Date fields

    Preset the date fields in event registration to a specific year/month. I plan events that are a year in the future. Members scroll through 12 months (hopefully or they enter the dates are for this year) to get to the correct month/year to enter their specific arrival date. They do it again to select their specific departure date. If I could preset those calendars for a future month date I could eliminate a lot of incorrect entries.

    Especially cool would be if I could use the difference between arrival and departure dates to calculate a bill. e.g. arrive on 9/10/2024…

  2. Add "check all" for Events-> Emails tab->Registration Emails

    After importing 50 or so events at a time for our hiking club from a Google Spreadsheet using Make, I have to check 12 check boxes for each event (600+ clicks). It would be wonderful to have a "Check All" option which would reduce it to 50 clicks.

  3. Changes automatically reflect in the Registrants and invitees tab

    When you update a registration, the new information is not reflected in the Registrants and invitees tab. Instead, the details at the time the registrant registered are reflected. It would be beneficial to have the event details update automatically in the Registrants and invitees tab.

  4. Allow only signed in people to register to Waitlist

    Waitlist management. There are so many problems. When are you going to look at this and fix the problems? Here are the issues:
    1. The system allows the person to add themselves to the waitlist when they aren't logged into the system. They put their email in. The system recognizes that they are a member and allows them to add themselves to the wait list. They add their first name and last name. Then when they get moved from the waitlist to the main list, they are registered, but none of the other information comes up for them. Please don't…

  5. ICS Feeds

    Allow for ICS feeds.
    The RSS Feed that currently exists does not work with calendars.

    we have many members complaining that they want to be able to subscribe to the clubs calendar. (we have over 2200 members)

    Currently they have to go to each one of the events and add them, and we have a few hundred events each year... this is crazy.

  6. The ability to purchase individual sessions

    Wild Apricot has a session function but it lacks any usefulness at all. You should be able to name each session and more importantly, customers should be able to choose individual sessions. MemberClicks has this function so it's not like Personify doesn't know how to do this.

  7. Add external events link to the calendar

    A feature to add items to the calendar that are not a club event. We are a car club that hold out own events, and that works great in Wild Apricot. I want to be able to add another local club's event, simply want to be able to list another club's event indicating the where and when, without creating an event on our side.

  8. Ability to copy waitlist when copying an Event

    When an event has a substantial waitlist, we would like to be able to copy the event with the waitlist intact. Right now, we have to manually add each waitlist contact to the new event.

  9. Pre-registration for prospective events

    Need « pre-registration » title or header for events that will only be held if X number of members or guest register (or « pre-register »)
    - we use ‘wait list’ for this but it is confusing for users, especially when upper limit of number of participants is reached and the real ‘wait list’ is activated
    - we like ‘wait list’ functions as it allows to trigger payments etc. once the event is confirmed. Administratively speaking it works well. But for our members, it does not.
    - so we would be looking at similar functions but using a ‘re-registration’ header

  10. Improve public view of event signups

    Public view of signups for an event on the website are listed in "date" order rather than alphabetized by last name. It makes it really difficult for attendees to see who else is coming. (Note: in the App they're alphabetized). It would be better to display alphabetized by last, first names and in a single view rather than require scrolling.

  11. Give members closure after online registration

    My members who are first-time users of Wildapricot are complaining about the lack of closure during online registration. After clicking Confirm, where they might have expected a "Thank you for registering," they get the attached instead. "! This invoice is unpaid!" Of course it's unpaid. All invoices are unpaid when they're presented. Since we're operating in offline payment mode, there is nothing the member can do about it at the moment anyway.   12. Using the same QR Code for multi-day events

    We regularly run multi-day events i.e. 2 day conferences, but we need to be able to check in delegates on both days of the event to make sure they attended. As it's one event, they receive one QR code that can only be used one. It would be great if the QR codes could be checked in once per day.

  13. Event Detail/Registration page _ Need ability to format layout

    I'm very much frustrated by the inability to modify the layout of the event detail module. The two column format with a narrow left side column where the registration tickets and the registration button are located is too narrow and creates a really long page people have to scroll to find the registration button. Especially for events where I've created a structure for information and just include a "more information" link to the event pages.

    Additionally, the gray "register" button fools people into thinking they can't register because gray denotes a broken or unavailable link.

  15. Saved Searches for Event Registration Type

    There is an inconsistency in the members who can be selected to receive emails for an event and those who can be selected for Event registration type. For emails you permit one to select a Saved search. That is not true for the Event registration type. Since it would seem likely that whoever is selected to receive emails for the event would very likely be those who could respond to the Event registration type, that one should be able to select a Saved search for identify the members who are to be able to use the Event registration type.

It would be really helpful if we could edit the system generated 'Apply for membership' button that appears during event registration, when a user who isn't logged in is registering for an event that has member-only registration types. We were recently asked to edit one of these buttons, as they lead to the first PUBLIC page with a membership application gadget of the website and in this case that page was not the new member registration page that was being used by the organization, but a sponsorship application page.     Allow event registration edits without having to confirm without invoice. Currently, if I make any type of edit to an existing registration, after I save it, the system generates a new confirmation email. This only happens for registered attendees that I have provided a complimentary registration and there is no correlating invoice.

  20. Waitlist - Emails when Registered

    We use automatic waitlist rather than manual. When a spot opens up, the person on the waitlist is registered and they receive the standard registration email. We find that there is confusion with this as there isn't a message saying "good news, a spot opened and we've removed you from the waitlist and you are now registered".

    Augmenting the waitlist process to include a unique version of the registration email would eliminate the confusion and make sure that members understand they are officially registered.
