  1. Custom Administrator Permissions - to define new admin roles and access permissions depending on an organization needs

    Currently there are set administrator "roles." If an organization's administrators don't fall neatly into these roles, then they end up with either too many or not enough permissions. It would be nice to be able to customize administrator roles, and determine whether that type of admin has full access, read-only access, or no access to all of the items described in the tables on the Site Administrators help page.   2. Add a plan level between Community and Professional

    We have been on the Community Plan and find ourselves outgrowing it. While it is a good problem to have, the jump between Community (500 contacts) and Professional (2000) is huge!

    I would like to ask that you consider adding something in between. Maybe 750 or even 1000. Since all other features are the same, this is a big price increase to just have more members/contacts.

  3. Ability to export backup of the whole account

    Current behavior:
    Wild Apricot automatically backs up all the datain all accounts daily. However, this is intended for emergency serverproblems only and these backups are not accessible to clients.Restoring a specific page or set of records on client request is a timeconsuming operation (which we currently do not charge for).
    Thereare also export operations for all the key data sets (members, donors,event attendees, payments) but these do not cover settings and webpages and have to be run manually one by one.

    Desired behavior:
    Ability for clients to initiate a full backup of their account at any time.

  4. WA pricing different for contacts vs members

    Growing our membership is very difficult. I would like to import a larger list of contacts so they can get reminders about events, open house, and even newsletter all in the hopes of enticing them to spend money by going to events or even joining as paid members. However, the cost of bringing these people into WA as contacts makes it prohibitive and is much less expensive using mail chimp, constant contact etc. How about if pricing for WA is based on a combination of a lower pricing for non member contacts plus a higher price for actual members and/or…

  5. Audit trail for Website activity of Admins

    Have an audit log to track what Admins are deleting or changing on the website. Would be useful with unlimited Admins being allowed on the website. With more admins it would be easier to track what is happening with the website.

  6. Deactivate Social Platform Login (Facebook, Google)

    I did not find any option to "deactivate" social media platform login… (I mean in the "authorization system page login" AND the "personal member profile")

    Can someone give me a tip?

    I dont want people to be able to login via social platforms because I see this as a security risk. In panic I removed the buttons with CSS-Code… not a very "clean" method.

  7. Admin with Read-only access to membership data only

    From clients survey "Allow us to grant read-only access to only the membership data. This would allow certain chairpersons search for current members without being able to edit/change it, and without being able to see anything else, like financials, donations, etc."

  10. better read only administrator access control

    We need to give some Admins read only permission to our members data but also full Events admin access. In this case we would want them to maintain the 'write' access associated with the Events Admin but also have the additional Read Only components added with the 'RA' access.
    The selector does not allow this combination to be selected.
    This is a critical issue which is preventing some of our members from fulfilling their roles in our club. We do not want to solve it bu giving them full configuration access.

    Account billing history is part of new billing system. It is already available for some of the accounts and  will be available for everyone once we finish migration of all customers  to new billing system.

    Special note, that full payment history will be available after migration to new billing and onwards. For previous periods you will still need to reach our billing support

  12. Administrators activity log

    Full activity log of all commands and administrator does. Run reports, make changes to a user or system setting, everything so another administrator can audit what other administrators are doing.

    Add a plan level between Professional and Network

    We are close to the limit of 2000 for the Professional Plan but will never get anywhere near the Network limit of 5000 to justify the huge leap in price.

    We would like to see a Plan that sits between Professional and Network at around 3000 - 3500 contacts.

    The more I read Wish List ideas the more I am convinced that what WA desperately needs is "System Preferences". The more complexity you build in, the more you lose sight of what makes this software great, It's Simplicity. Surely it makes sense that a lot of the extras we all crave should be part of a System User Preference Pane. There are many examples where this could already be useful. Event management is riddled with options that many do not require or only partly require. Membership management is the same.

    As a Wild Apricot partner we are tasked to do the following:

    • setup a new ** website and launch
    • migrate an existing ** website with new website designs

    This feature is particularly helpful when a customer is already on Wild Apricot, in production but would like to test some new website design features or redesign the website altogether.

  19. Establish tighter security for Administrators

    Contacts/members with full administrative authority in particular, and to an extent perhaps, others with lesser administrative authority should have a wall erected between being just a normal member and acting as an administrator.

    When I login as a member, I don't want to be in administrative mode. This mixes roles, and these roles must kept separate. When I want to go into administrator mode, WA must require me to explicitly request that role/mode (eg, a separate password, or some other mechanism).

  20. Real read-only access, prevent contact list downloading

    Currently read-only admin settings have a HUGE exception: they permit downloading of the entire contact list.

    In the meantime, I still can't give read-only access to volunteers because of the download issue. Why is this part of the read-only profile? Can this one setting be changed?
