Add a plan level between Professional and Network
Add a plan level between Professional and Network
We are close to the limit of 2000 for the Professional Plan but will never get anywhere near the Network limit of 5000 to justify the huge leap in price.
We would like to see a Plan that sits between Professional and Network at around 3000 - 3500 contacts.

Custom Administrator Permissions - to define new admin roles and access permissions depending on an organization needs
Currently there are set administrator "roles." If an organization's administrators don't fall neatly into these roles, then they end up with either too many or not enough permissions. It would be nice to be able to customize administrator roles, and determine whether that type of admin has full access, read-only access, or no access to all of the items described in the tables on the Site Administrators help page. I.e. A page to create/edit a role with radio selection to determine access for that role for each feature of the site. This would be immensely helpful for reducing clutter for…

A plan between Group and Community
Pricing for more than 250 contacts and 5 admins but less than the next level up. Keep it affordable for smaller non-profits.

Add a plan level between Community and Professional
We have been on the Community Plan and find ourselves outgrowing it. While it is a good problem to have, the jump between Community (500 contacts) and Professional (2000) is huge!
I would like to ask that you consider adding something in between. Maybe 750 or even 1000. Since all other features are the same, this is a big price increase to just have more members/contacts.

Admin with Read-only access to membership data only
From clients survey "Allow us to grant read-only access to only the membership data. This would allow certain chairpersons search for current members without being able to edit/change it, and without being able to see anything else, like financials, donations, etc."

Change order of when password is sent
Is there a way to edit the timing of the password email? Our members are receiving their passwords before we approve them. We want that email to go out after they've been approved.

Notify website administrators by email when the Wild Apricot website is down or experiencing extremely slow processeing.
Create an automatic email notification to client administrators when the Wild Apricot website is down or experiencing extremely slow processeing. It should include the reason it is down.

Force first login to shutdown if a second login is attempted
Members can't reset password, since the browser they are using saved some data that makes WA think they are still logged in. This is a very difficult problem to explain to many people and Clearing their Cache is not a thing they do often. Since they can be using any of a number of browsers and versions it makes it hard and time consuming to help them.
Rather than WA reporting an error, I think it would be better to force close anything that is causing this duplicate login problem.
I'm far from an expert here but this is a…4 votes -
WA pricing different for contacts vs members
Growing our membership is very difficult. I would like to import a larger list of contacts so they can get reminders about events, open house, and even newsletter all in the hopes of enticing them to spend money by going to events or even joining as paid members. However, the cost of bringing these people into WA as contacts makes it prohibitive and is much less expensive using mail chimp, constant contact etc. How about if pricing for WA is based on a combination of a lower pricing for non member contacts plus a higher price for actual members and/or…

Accept American Express for payments for WildApricot
Our non-profit uses an Amex card for all expenses. I see that we can only use MasterCard and Visa for our monthly/annual payments to WildApricot. Can you please accept Amex? Thank you.

Deactivate Social Platform Login (Facebook, Google)
I did not find any option to "deactivate" social media platform login… (I mean in the "authorization system page login" AND the "personal member profile")
Can someone give me a tip?
I dont want people to be able to login via social platforms because I see this as a security risk. In panic I removed the buttons with CSS-Code… not a very "clean" method.
Please advise!

To restore the old authorization page look:
/* SOCIAL LOGIN BUTTONS HIDE */
.WaGadgetAuthorizationRequired .openAuthFormContainer {
border-right: none;
max-width: 0px;
padding-right: 40px;
display: none;
}/* PADDING TO SOCIAL LOGIN BUTTONS HIDE */
.WaGadgetAuthorizationRequired .authFormContainer {
padding-left: 0;
}To remove the login buttons from the member directory personal profiles (at the bottom):
/* MEMBER SOCIAL LOGIN BUTTONS HIDE */
#socialLoginContainer, #idSocialLoginContainer {
display: none;
}Just copy/paste the above and update your “user.css” file.

Backup and Restore
Ability to restore records, posts and pages to some previous version.
Ability to role back unintentional changes is imperative.

Ability to clean up email log, financial transactions etc. - e.g when converting from trial to actual use
Is there a way to clear out the payment transaction log?
(like we can clear out the test transactions in the database prior to starting for "real")

Add a user access level for Contacts
Currently for a number of gadgets, such as the directory gadget, privacy levels for information display and access are set to either admins, members, or anybody. However anybody is actually two distinct categories: contacts who have set up system user accounts to access limited parts of the system, say the forums, and members of the public who have not set up any system user accounts. By having a Contact user access level administrators would have one more level of security to filter system use access; this could be used as a measure to build trusted access for non-members (presumably prospective…

Ability to export backup of the whole account
Current behavior:
Wild Apricot automatically backs up all the datain all accounts daily. However, this is intended for emergency serverproblems only and these backups are not accessible to clients.Restoring a specific page or set of records on client request is a timeconsuming operation (which we currently do not charge for).
Thereare also export operations for all the key data sets (members, donors,event attendees, payments) but these do not cover settings and webpages and have to be run manually one by one.Desired behavior:
Ability for clients to initiate a full backup of their account at any time.Notes:

System Preferences
The more I read Wish List ideas the more I am convinced that what WA desperately needs is "System Preferences". The more complexity you build in, the more you lose sight of what makes this software great, It's Simplicity. Surely it makes sense that a lot of the extras we all crave should be part of a System User Preference Pane. There are many examples where this could already be useful. Event management is riddled with options that many do not require or only partly require. Membership management is the same.
