disallow reactivation of archived records
We would love to have a configuration switch that we could set, so that no archived membership record could be reactivated by a returning member who is applying for a new membership and using the same email address as the one they had when the prior record was archived!
Perhaps offer the applicant the option of continuing to use the same email address, at which point the WA system would remove it from the archived record and use it for the new record? Or simply give the applicant the option of 1) using a different email address, or 2) contacting an administrator for a solution.
We try very hard to maintain data on all our prior members, including the last known email address we had on file for them, so that we can still reach out to them later. As such, we don't want to simply delete the email address from their record once we archive it, and we don't want to have to manually move those prior email address to another field on the random chance that they might come back a few years later and wish to re-apply for membership using the same email address as before.
A system-wide configuration switch, such as "Disallow Reactivation Of Archived Records" would prevent someone from reactivating a membership record.

Event Registrant View Sort by Last Name
Writing in regards to the “Registered” view feature in Events. I am disappointed to learn that the default sort for this view is by registration date instead of last name. The ability to view a “live” roster was a feature we presented our Board of Directors and a factor when making our database change to WildApricot.
The current sort by registration date is relatively useless and creates more problems than it does solutions. Anyone using the feature wants to know two things:
- 1. Did I register? Do I see my own name on the list.
- 2. Is a specific person registered, for example John Smith. In the current format, the only way to answer the question is for the member to scroll EVERY page of the roster.
I’m hoping this is an easy fix. We can’t be the only association to ask that the view be sorted by last name.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to your reply.

Display the contact's photo on the mobile Event Check-In page.
This would be very helpful when our greeters are approached by new members for event check-in. They wouldn't need to ask for the member's name if they could see the photos for all the registrants on the check-in page.

Ability to send emails to group participants without being Admin
ability for group members to send emails to group participants without having to be an ADMIN. Right now members can click the email link of individuals and send emails to one member at a time from their iphone or other device. It would be great if they could do the same thing to group participants. We have over 60 groups. Many of them meet weekly. They would like a simple way to coordinate activities. Right now, I have 60+ Admins, just so that they can send an email to their group. Even ability to export the email addresses of all of the group participants, so that they can cut and paste them into their email would be helpful.

Admin notification for Stop Recurring Payments action by member
Create an automated administrator notification triggered when a member stops recurring payments.
Our member managers do not see this until the paid membership period is over and it may be too late to reach out to the member to see if any problems need to be resolved.

Multi-Check In Events
We have events that are "Season Passes" for our regular programs. Is there a way to set it so people can check in more than once? The QR code check-in is really helpful for us.

Easily bundle weeks of camps for a discount
We offer 1 week camps, the classes in which are set at different prices. Would be wonderful to have the ability to bundle weeks for a savings without having to manually track some element of it

The orange man login confuses too many potential returning customers
The orange man is cute but it is not well understood, can we have a simple login link?
We receive lots of complaints that something isn't working and it is because they didn't log in.1 vote -
Once registered sign up for multiple events at the same time
This is VERY important to people offering events that we want customers to sign up for more than one of - make it possible to sign up for more than one event at a time. Because our events are for kids we have to collect a lot of information and having to do that each time is frustrating for customers. IT IS ALSO MORE EXPENSIVE. We add the fee that Affinipay charges us to the registration fee, signing up for each event separately costs them the fee each time

reference files by uid
File references in Wild Apricot show the full path to the file in the websites file structure. Revealing such internal structure is a security risk. For example, it makes it easier for outsiders to scan the file/directory structure looking for files with inappropriate/inadequate security settings.
Our former platform, Groupspaces, used UIDs to refer to files (e.g. in links). This has the added advantage of allowing files to be relocated in the file hierarchy (or even renamed) without breaking existing references (see https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8822545-automatically-update-existing-links-when-page-is-r)4 votes -

test event invoice mail
Wasn't sure whether to out this under Emails or Events.
For an event, one can send a test e-mail for almost anything:
Announcement
Reminder
Registration confirmation
Cancellation
etc.
What is missing is a way to send a test version of the event registration invoice!
How can we see what the event registration invoice will look like, before participants start receiving them?1 vote -
Inserting Non-Breaking Characters in Email Editor
Need the ability to insert either a non-breaking space or hyphen when using the new Email editor. Previously, direct editing of the HTML code allowed insertion of non-breaking characters. Some thing like Ctrl-Shift-Space or Ctrl-Shift-Dash would be a good options (as used in Microsoft Word).

store categories and security and options
The store is new and basic... Still works great and simple which is best... But needs a few enhancements. 1.) better ways to organize products maybe by categories or some kind of groupings we can control 2.) better security, ie restrict not just by member but by member level and public/nonpublic like in events 3.) options with up-charge/multiplier field also like in events...

Add feature to preset and hide esoteric "Create an Event" settings for admins with just Event access
Allow full administrators to preset "create an event" settings and also allow hiding of esoteric settings after they have been preselected so that they can't be changed by admins who just have event creation access

Organization custom field and macro
Include the capability to define Wild Apricot Organization level custom fields and corresponding Macros for use inside notifications and email templates. It is too difficult to go back and update some of the names and addresses in every variation of the Member email templates when a change occurs.
Existing fields that come out of the box are: Organization Name, Organization Email Address, Organization URL
Examples of fields my organization would like to have available: Organization Contact Name, Membership Manager Name, Membership Manager Email Address.

Reminder emails for memberships with a Pending status
Add an admin notification for membership applications that are stuck in a pending status. Currently, admins can receive an email when a membership application requiring approval is first created. But in many cases, this approval depends on a requirement being met or documentation being submitted. We need a way to be notified after a certain amount of time if the approval is still outstanding.
