1. Create contacts for guest registrations

   Currently:

   You can set up your events so that a registrant can also indicate if they are bringing guests and enter information about them for your event records

   Suggestion:

   You may want to leverage the guests information in areas outside of the event. In this case, you would want guests become full contacts, which does not happen the way the system currently operates.

   There are a few things we'd like to get your feedback on with this feature:
   * Would you want guests from all events to become contacts automatically, or would you like to have that feature set up on an event-by-event basis?
   * Would you want some way to search on how these contacts were created i.e. show me all contacts created as guests from the event 'Annual General Meeting'.

2. Allow default on for Display Attendees list

   Our members love the new feature that displays the names of the attendees for an event. However, often they miss the box to check off. Also when event managers enter them manually, they often miss this. I would like the ability to set the default for this as always on (and others may want always off) by event, since I spend a lot of time correcting entries so that the names appear. Then if someone really doesn't want to be listed by name, then can check the box off.

   The ability to charge dynamic membership dues. Currently you can do this by creating extra cost fields and assign different costs to different choices, but some organizations might have very complex formulas. For example:

   An organization might charge their corporate members per employer per year x $16.50 per head. However, they may have a minimum annual dues of 40 employees x 16.50, and a maximum annual dues of 400 x 16.50. There also may be an annual facility fee for each corporate member $100 per facility with a minimum of one facility and a maximum of five.

   This may seem like an elaborate formula, but it is based on one from one of our clients.

   We'd like to get some feedback on this from you. Is the ability to create a dynamic membership fee based on a number of different factors something that your organization needs or requires?

4. Gadget Displaying Most Recent Members

   Desired:
   The ability to create a widget that displays the most recent people who have joined your organization.

   This is handy for alumni groups that might want to put a widget on their institution's website showing the most recent people to join as a way to encourage others to do so. Or they may be running their own site and using Wild Apricot for membership management and embed a list on their public website.

   When developing this we would have to consider how to make sure that people could opt out of having their name shown on the list.

   What do you think? Is this something that your organization could use. Also, would something like this be handy as a gadget that you could place on your own site?

5. Report or export event registrations across all events

   I can't be the only one doing this. I award participation points for my club. I'd like to be able to see on-line or pull a report showing ALL events that an attendee has participated in for a given period of time (IE monthly, annually). The information is all captured I just need a way to pull it out.

6. Ability to lock key fields to admin changes only

   I'd like to request that the following fields have the ability to be locked and cannot be changed, except by an administrator:

   First & Last Name
   Email Address
   Company Name

   We are having a problem with people leaving their firms and either A) changing the company name and email to the new information (although the company is not in our industry and does not qualify for membership), B) changing the company name and email to the new information (although it was a firm membership and was "owned" by thier old company), C) the person who replaced them at their old firm changes the account to their name and we have no idea that a change has been made.

7. Event Registration Types with From AND To dates [8815]

   Hi,

   Our club hosts races which are announced many months in advance. We provide a sliding scale of pricing for each event regisration type, based upon how soon someone signs up. As we get closer to the event the amount goes up.

   This strategy typically requires that we set up our event types such that there is an introductory race (until some date), followed by one or more periods of price increases (each one is scheduled to run from some date until another date), followed typically by a period of a week or two prior to the event when registration is closed, and then finally a higher fee on race day.

   Because the "From" and "Until" dates on the registration types are implemented as radio buttons we are unable to specify a date rage.

   This causes us to have to manually go in and change the from date to an until date at the end date of that period's registration fee.

   If we had the ability to specify the period (from date AND until date) we would have a perfect match between the capabilities and our requirements.

   As this problems exists for each of our races this is an important change request for us. Please consider this change for the next release.

8. Export limited to certain fields

   When I export members records into XLS files, I would like to choose which fields to export. Now I have to spend time customising the XLS file by deleting columns I don't want. Could we have the option to choose the required fields?

9. Discount coupons for membership level upgrades

   I have offered a one-year free membership to my new membership site users using a 100% off coupon that I created. It works pretty slick, when the new member signs up, the space for the code is right at the bottom of the sign up screen.

   However, when a "free" member wants to convert to a paid membership using the coupon- the coupon code spot not there. Can you please add it to this form?

10. Way for external systems/people to check Membership Status of our members

    How would I create a way for individuals to check a member's status either by their name or membership number? I would not want these people to have access to any other information other than the actual members name, membership number and status.

    For example

    To check a member's status - complete the follow fields

    First name ___________________ Last Name _______________________

    or

    Membership Number: ____________________________

    Submit

    example return

    member: John Smith

    Number: 273837383

    Status: Active

    Is there currently a way to do this?

11. Different payment options for events/membership

    In release 2.3.4 you added the manual payment option which is valid for all payment types.

    I would like to be able to make the manual payment option open to the few hundred people who are the membership but not make it available to the thousands who sign up for events.

    I do not have a need to have it selectable at each membership level or for one event or another - just events vs. members. Any chance?

    In 6.17 version we released the new field type ‘File attachments’ for an event registration form. Attendees can upload documents and images as well.

    I recently had a Free Member on my website renew their membership to 2012. They simply kept pressing the renew until button in their Profile. I would like a limit put on this button (eg 1 x year).

14. Ability to select recipients for event announcements [5260]

    For my nationwide webcasts, I LOVE being able to have the event announcements and reminders automatically go out on certain dates. It saves me so much time and effort. Thank you for this feature.

    However, for my regional events I'm not able to use this feature since it will send the announcements and reminders to all my members, instead of just members in Boston or the Bay Area for example. Isn't there a way to set the announcements to only send to members with keywords - the way you can set keywords for events you should be able to set keywords for members or have the ability to select states and/or cities that the announcements go to. Please, please, please help me find a way to do this as I do an event in many states nearly every month and it is a huge time killer keeping up with it all.

15. Make WYSIWYG editor compatible with iPhone / Ipad - e.g. for forum comments

    While an iPhone app would be awesome (one that allowed site editing functions), I would be thrilled if there was a way to make my website editor accesible via an iPhone for even just minor blog updates

16. Allow admin to lock privacy settings on certain fields

    I have been fooling around with this option and reading up on it and don't think I can accomplish what I want. But let me run it by you gurus first.

    I pay for our WA site and thus users are guests in my "house" and participate at my will and by my rules. Therefore I do not want people to be able to do things anonymously on the site. For example, I don't want people to be able to turn off public access to their name and therefore their Discussion Forum posts show up as "name is hidden". Sure, I can see their identities when logged in as the admin. But no one else can. There are many reasons why I don't want people to be able to hide on our site. The biggest being that people are much more inclined to be nasty and post things they otherwise would not if they feel they can be anonymous. And sure, I can police that and delete offending posts, but I don't want to take the time to do that for my huge user group.

    From what I can tell, even though I can set the default to show all profile information, a user can go in and override that setting, basically hiding whatever info they want or even turning their profile off. Is there a way for me to lock that down so that they cannot change it? Thanks.

17. Allow control of blog module privileges by groups

    Is there a way to enable groups to have read, write and comment privileges for the blog module? Right now, I believe that blog privileges are only enabled by membership level not by groups.

    Is that correct?

18. Moving and Merging Forum Posts [6464]

    To moderate our forums we'd like to take new topics that are really comments to existing topics and move them from being a unique topic to a comment of an existing topic. We'd like to retain the original poster information in the move. Is this possible in the existing forum structure? If not, is this an administrative feature you would consider adding to the service?

    Is it possible that you could correct the function of the forum and blog pages to not only allow someone to add a link, but also to add a document to the page?

    What downfall is there in providing this function?

20. Integrate Facebook Connect login option for members [9204]

    Would you consider implementing Facebook Connect? http://developers.facebook.com/connect.php So that people can log onto our websites as members using their Facebook account information?

    The next step would be a Facebook App that could then feed information into our members Facebook notifications areas!
