  2. Add "is not" criteria for user id

    Use 'user id' as a field that can be excluded in Advance Searches

    Currently if I want to run an advanced search to create a mailing segment for a particular membership level I have to use the field 'name' to create a criteria of 'is not' when building the search. This removes the members with the name(s) specified as you can insert and define the criteria multiple times.

    However, less prone to manual error would be the ability to insert the 'User ID' as a criteria and then have the option to specify 'is not' in the advanced search and…

  3. Change to Bundles: Allow the use of Extra Cost fields in the profiles of Bundle Members

    Today the system has a limitation: For bundle memberships, extra cost fields will only appear to the bundle administrator, not to individual bundle members.
    So if you add the extra cost field, only the bundle admin will be able to interact with it, the other members in the bundle won't be able to.
    I would like to add Extra Cost fields to Bundle Members profiles.

  4. macro for total amount due on renewal (membership fee plus extra charges)

    A macro for the total amount due on renewal for members with auto renewal. (The Contact_balance macro only shows if a member does not have auto renewals enabled / the renewal has failed) It is not possible currently to include a total amount in the renewal reminder email.

    Provide option to add additional emails to the member onboarding (application) and renewal workflows. In our case, we need an email to be sent approximately 1 week after the member activation email.

  7. Pop-up alert reminder to update the profile

    Issue: Members do not update their profile

    Possible Solution:
    A pop-up alert prompting members to update their profile ... this might appear upon logging in for the first time in a calendar year.

    This will direct them to their profile and towards the end of the page, they would be requried to confirm their details. If they do not edit/confirm their details, they will be unable to proceed with booking of events and payment of the subscription fee.

  8. Group selection restricted for a specific group

    Groups are a wonderful way to organize members by interest. We let members to chose their sport groups when joining and update on their profiles. It is a great time saver for event communications, ie. sending Ski emails only to the skiers group.
    We would like to have at least one group that is NOT selectable by the members and to be used by an administrator. The purpose is to be able to have board-only site pages for elected officials.

  9. Required Fields Filled in Before Renewal is Completed

    We have added a few required fields for new members and existing members. However, when you go to renew, the system does not note that the renewal remember has required fields that are now blank. If the member goes to edit profile, then the prompt is there to make sure required info is filled in. We have asked members to do this but we have 4000 members and it's not working voluntarily. We need a way to force members when they renew to make sure if their profile has "new required fields" that they are filled in before completing the…

  10. Allow membership renewals from social media and chat

    When you think about maintaining good membership numbers, renewals are the most important thing, more important even that new membership. Therefore, renewals have to be REALLY easy! In today's world, people are spending more time in social media and chat than they are in email. Therefore, simple renewals via those platforms would be a logical improvement to the process.

  11. Trial membership with automatic renewal to paid

    I would like a way for someone to pay $1 (or free, but have them put in their credit card info for automatic recurring payments) for a trial month, then have the rate increase after their trial month is over WITHOUT them having to re-enter their credit card information. I have seen this on many other apps/memberships, so I am hoping it is possible.

    Currently I have it set up as 2 different levels ($1 level, and full membership level) and the level change can happen automatically but the payment cannot. They have to renew and re-enter their credit card…

  12. Same address for all bundle members

    I would like an option to tie all bundle members to the address of the bundle administrator. If the bundle administrator changes their address, it automatically updates all members in the bundle. This option should be optional. Some bundles will have members with different address, but some will not want to make the same address change for all members of their bundle

  14. Migrate/retain bundle member info when new bundle admin is assigned

    (1) It should be possible for bundle organization info to migrate to new bundle admin (or stay with the organization, not just with the contact). This includes the organization name, address, logo, etc. AND the recurring payment information.
    (2) A bundle admin should be able to add payment information to set up recurring payments at any point in time - not just when they have a new invoice to pay - and it should not require them to make a payment to set up the recurring payments (it should just let them know when their next payment will be).

  15. Long renewal periods

    We wanted to have a 10 or 15 year renewal period because we have members who do not have credit cards and it is a process for them to get a check and send in an application renewal form so to make their life easier we thought of the idea of having a longer renewal period option. Not a lifetime membership but close for some people.

    Coming from a background in S/W development I am curious why this option has to be a dropdown and not a simple variable you can use to enter your own number of years?

  16. Flexibility with Member Payments (Fortnightly)

    More flexibility in setting up membership payment options has been asked for many times.
    The recurrence of payments should be no harder to set than a repeated event in Outlook / Calendar.

    For my extra $10/month in increased fees, I'd simply like to be able to set up a fortnightly membership payment schedule to coincide with my members Payroll dates...

    Our organization is a professional photography group. We have been using Wild Apricot now for several years and I know a lot of other photography groups are using Wild Apricot also. In a meeting a few months ago I heard that Wild Apricot was working on an update that we have been intetested in for a long time.     As couples and families share membership accounts, our members would appreciate if the secondary email address holder also had login credentials to access their profiles to renew membership, edit information, etc.

    We need more flexibility in the configuration of automatic messages around renewal:
    1. We would like to send out the first reminder as an advance announcement before sending the invoice.
    2. The current post renewal date messaging allows only two phases. We would like to have three:
    Phase 1. 1st overdue warning (grace period notice)
    Phase 2. 2nd overdue notice, membership changed to „lapsed“
    Phase 3: 3rd overdue notice, membership suspended and renewal invoice voided
