Similar to gadgets on the web page, allow organizations to control which content appears on their mobile app such as:
- Event List
- Member Directory
- Custom Directories
- An app module built from a specific web WA web page
Given these options, I could build and customize my organization's mobile app to meet out needs. One organization's app may only contain a member directory. Another organization may only want to show events on their app. Someone else might chose to have all options on their app.8 votes
Facility Use Check in/Sign in - Mobile App
I'd like to see the mobile app be able to be used to check-in to the facility. When a member arrives to use the facility, they would tap a button on the mobile app that would allow them to sign in, with any family members also in attendance, and have the record date and time stamped with their membership number. This is separate from events.4 votes
I would like to see the following functions on your mobile app:
Text Messaging3 votes
Are you talking about admin or member app?
Events are already in, did you already had a chance to try it?
Ride Leaders need to see a list of who has registered for a ride. The only way to do this currently is via admin privilege on the web site. For the mobile app to be useful we need to see who is registered for a ride, not just those who opted in to have their name appear on the public roster.6 votes
Interesting idea, thanks! I edited title a little so other users could find it easier.
App metrics: Can you add a a way to capture how many people are using our new member app?2 votes
Since there is only one app, it is not possible to use google or facebook metrics to provide separate report for each organization.
Do you think it will work for you if we send app usage statistics in email on monthly basis?
While viewing My Tickets or an Event, would like to have the registered member list show. This works on the website, so we would like it on the Member App.3 votes
The admin's app should allow managing guests registrations. People can't add or edit guests themselves after they've already registered so they ask admins to do it.12 votes
This topic is about adding notifications into mobile app for admins. If you need it, please add your vote and briefly describe your use case. This will help us to better understand your needs and prioritize our development plans.67 votes
In the latest version of the admin app (3.3) we added push notifications. The app will notify you when event limits are reached. You should to enable notifications in app settings first.
The next step is to add notifications about new members in pending statuses.
Please let us know if you would like to see other kinds of notifications.
It's a developer's created topic.
In the contact dashboard you can see a "total contacts", a "total members" and a "new members" numbers now.
If you'd like to see more numbers or more statistics, feel free to vote for this idea and share in comments what exactly info do you need.3 votes
Feature request for mobile app - login via social account (e.g. Google+, Facebook, LinkedIn).1 vote
The mobile app member directory should provide a link personal websites in the same manner as the online directory provides, rather than just the address in text.1 vote
In the future, is there a way to restrict the membership directory based on the membership level? Our organization has two types of membership levels (paid and non-paid)...we would like for our member directory to have access to the membership directory via mobile app...however, for people who sign up for a free membership, we would like to restrict their access to the membership directory.
Thank you!1 vote
We would like to see an actual calendar on the mobile app vs a list of events. This list is also in REVERSE chronological order. It would be great to have the times listed as well.4 votes
Hi - our membership utilizes member directory app that not only allows us to view members by name, but also by group based on filters we created from Wild Apricot (e.g., Wine Club, K2020, Board, etc.). We also have the option to email the group. I would like to suggest this functionality be considered for the mobile app for Wild Apricot.4 votes
All the updates that you all have been adding are great. I love the app as an admin on our account. It really helps on the fly. The only this that it's missing to the capability to compose and email or edit a draft using the mobile app. This would help when events need to be cancelled last minute or announcements need to made quickly to members. Please consider adding the email drafting and edit feature to future updates to the app. :)3 votes
If you need to send email to attendees, that is completely possible. Just open related event and in the top right corner press button with dots. Then in popup menu pick “Email registrants”.
At the same time creating general purpose emails from scratch is not supported yet.
When creating an event, also create a temporary forum that participants are automatically subscribed to. The forum would be shown in the member app and they can post questions about their event right on the member app. (Similar post regarding forums being available on the app already exists). This request would tie in with that one. The new event forum would behave similar to description button in the app, but would open a conversation page where the participant or event leader or admin can post comments.9 votes
Would it be possible to add a feature to sort out the list of registrants for an event in first name - last name, instead of the reverse as it is currently the case?
This is when using the App on iPhone.
Idea for App - Please set up support for one or two pages to be displayed with links out of the menu. They can either pull the page content directly in to the app or simply provide a browser link to the page. This would allow us to include a Member Benefits section on our app.1 vote
New App for Members could be used by our organization IF I can restrict which LEVELS of Memberships could ACCESS the App. Two of our Member Levels are NOT allowed to see All profile fields of the Owners. Currently, it's ALL Members or NO Members. We need a selection criteria under Allow application for members. Surely we aren't the only organization with this issue.4 votes
Everyone who can log into website also can log into mobile app.
Member app shows profile details in the same way as web version, with respect to field visibility settings and level of current user permissions.
Wild apricot allows to restrict field visibility to the following:
– show to anybody
– show to members only
– don’t show to others
Currently neither web version nor mobile app could restrict fields visibility to specific level.
- Don't see your idea?
