1. Login to mobile app using social networks like Facebook

   Add ability to login into mobile app using social networks logins like Facebook or Google. Wild Apricot desktop version has social login function, but mobile app does not.

   It's much easier to login into a mobile app using Facebook or Google - no need to enter password. It is quite a standard these days in mobile apps.

2. Prorating membership levels with recurring payments

   I know that this feature is not available, but I am wondering if there is a workaround or another solution to address prorating membership levels with recurring payments. My client's problem is that if a member signs up before the renewal date of July or January 15 they are charged $100 when they join and then another $100 on July or January 15th. For example we had 23 members sign up in June and pay $100. They were charged $100 again on July 15th. Do you have any recommendations for handling this situation?

   In 7.16 version we added a new Photo albums summary gadget, which allows you to show the gallery of selected photo albums.

4. {Organization_Payment_Instructions} macro in any/all of the membership emails

   I'd like to include the {OrganizationPaymentInstructions} macro in any/all of the membership emails. Right now, it is only available on the "Renewal Notification" emails (Renewal Pending, Renewal Confirmed). I'd like to include it on the "Membership Applications" emails and the "Renewal Reminders" emails as well.

5. Improve overall speed of mobile application

   On one of our webinars we had an interesting comment about mobile app being slow to the point not being usable:

   Eve: It was good. It's good for - because there's only me with my iPad, it was good for events where I had 33 attendees, and that was good because then I could scroll through the list and find them and click the check button, but it did not work so well when I had 200 plus.
   Lori S: Oh right.
   Eve: I was racing, because I print out the paper copy, and I have other people who help me with registration, and so I was racing her with her - my friend with her paper copy and me with my electronic copy and she won, like all the time. It's not fair.

   Lori S: Is there anything you'd want to see improved [in Wild Apricot]?
   Eve: … Probably the app. Because I tried the app for the first time, and I found it worked well for low numbers of attendees, so like for a workshop of less than 50 people it worked well, but for large numbers and there is a search function on the app, but it's too slow.
   Lori S: Okay.

   Eve: I just can't use it as quickly as I can with a piece of paper. So maybe a future app development might look at stuff like there.

   We want to improve speed of the app so it can really be used on events with many attendees. And it's not just about attendees - all functions have to be faster, like searching for contacts and loading different contact lists.

6. Set Both Background Image and Color for Site

   It would be nice to be able to specify both a site background color and image, so that the color will show while the image is loading.

   We have a relatively large dark-colored background image. While it's loading the background is white (default) and then it suddenly switches to the dark image.

   This is a small polishing detail but it seems relatively easy to implement (I hope).

8. Email Template Upgrades

   Please help

   I provide links to news items in our newsletter but it only connects to the news page where there are many news items and not the direct page that I am copying and pasting into the newsletter.

   After inserting a picture one can't click settings and adjust it until the template has been saved and then gone into for re-editing.

   Need a simpler drag from corner way to adjust an image.

   Need better template options for a newsletter. Easier way to drop a logo at the top of these templates compared to typing in text for a company name.

   Need a way to divide sections and change background colors.

   Fonts easily revert while making corrections and then need to be reformatted. Other programs seem to have an easier way to jump into a template and make fool proof changes. I don't feel like any of our other board members would have the patience to deal with the templates as they exist currently. Upgrades would be greatly appreciated.

   Love the tracking information that comes with a newsletter just needs to be easier to add to and customize.

9. Exporting of "last login field"

   The "last login field" currently does not export. Many of the benefits were offer are by on-line access our resource pages. It would be great to be able to have the data of who is signing into their membership page.

   One use would be to do a saved search to send messages to members to remind them of the benefits they have.

10. Totals for Contacts

    Loving the new android mobile app. It's great. Something that would make it even greater would be total counts displayed within Contacts -> Saved Searches. We constantly have a need for a quick look at membership numbers. The numbers could be placed and styled similar to how they are displayed for event registrant numbers in the Events section of the app. That's one approach. Alternatively/additionally, a mobile app equivalent of Members -> Summary would also accomplish what we would love to be able to do. Feel free to reach out if you need more info or ideas. Keep up the great work!

11. Trigger API call on Contact Change?

    I would like to use the V2 API to automatically send updates to a FileMaker Pro database (and maybe others in the future) whenever certain fields in a Contact are changed such as name, address, email, etc.

    The documentation on the API is clear and I can manually launch such a PHP program from the browser, but I need to automate the process so whenever a user or an administrator updates a contact record, the PHP program is invoked behind the scenes.

    Is this possible?

    Hi folks,

    Wild Apricot now supports outbound webhooks.

    This means Wild Apricot can send programmatic notifications to external services when something important happens, e.g. when a contact is modified or an event registration is created. For a full list of possible notifications see our help page https://gethelp.wildapricot.com/en/articles/1670

    Our next step is to make it available as Integromat module for less techy audience.

12. Landscape mode for the Mobile App

    I like the app, but it would be nice if it would also turn to landscape on my tablet. My tablet has a keyboard and the app would be much more useful in the landscape view with this device.

13. Single Sign In Bridge for Joomla?

    I operate several Joomla CMS based sites but really like the Wild Apricot membership pieces. Unfortunately, just embedding the WA bits and pieces doesn't link the two setups.

    I know you are selling website features too :) but Joomla offers additional functions and flexibilty.

    Is this something your team might consider in the future?

14. Store Credit Card Information

    Hi

    Please add the capability to use the stored credit card feature of Authorize.net! Our members very much want this capability and it would increase our attendance at events. We need this for membership renewal, events and donations. Authorize.net has the interface well defined but Wild Apricot hasn't implemented the capability.

    It would be OK to implement it in a way that your partners could provide us the capability rather than have it fully automated into Wild Apricot.

    I hope others will comment as I've seen this asked for in the past.

    “Store credit card information” udpate is now live and availalbe for all Wild Apricot payment users.
    Your members can store their credit card details in Affinipay’s secure vault and use to make next payments with single click.

15. Send email only to "checked in" event registrants

    Hello,

    I would like to see an email enhancement for Events. Currently you can only send an email to the entire event list OR delete the list and add contacts individually.

    I would like to see the ability to send emails to those who have been "checked in" on the Event. We want to send an event evaluation out to those who actually attended the event, not just those who registered.

    There aren't any Event Emails for evaluation. Right now we are doing it ad-hoc by choosing Email Registrants, but we would like the option to email only those who attended either through Event Emails or Email Registrants.

16. Invoice line-item export

    I'm working on a financial report for my organization, and I'm trying to find the line-item detail for all financial transactions conducted through our site (so I can slice and dice the data to illustrate various aspects). Without this, it's not possible to resolve discrepancies in the data and close out our organization's finances.

    I was able to download a report from "Payments and Refunds", however this only shows totals for each invoice and does not show what line items each person is paying for, so I can't break the data down fully. I also found the "Income" report under "Reports", however this seems to have even less detail.

    The WA support folks suggested going into each invoice separately to see a breakdown of each line item, and said that there is currently no other way to view line-item details. However, this would be very manual and time-consuming as we have hundreds of invoices with multiple line items each.

    So, I wanted to find out if it would be possible to add a feature to give downloadable line-item visibility for all financial transactions? Presumably this raw data is already being collected by logs on WA's back-end, so it might just be a matter of exposing the relevant data to admins as an excel file if requested for download.

17. Do not allow event registrations for members in pending status (e.g. pending new, renewal)

    I know we can now create a registration type for an event and set prices and other information based on the Membership level. It would be nice if we could do the same for Membership status (Active, Lapsed, Pending, etc.) as well.

18. Data protection compliance for European users

    I have already discussed this issue in General Discussions but just wanted to formally place it in the Wishlist.

    This is the gist of current EU legislation on transfer of data outside the EU :

    "Transfers may be made to any country or territory in respect of which the Commission has made a ‘positive finding of adequacy’. . . .The Commission has so far recognized Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Canada (commercial organisations), Switzerland, Faeroe Islands, Guernsey, Israel, Isle of Man, Jersey, New Zealand, Uruguay and the US Department of Commerce's Safe Harbour Privacy Principles as providing adequate protection . . .

    If the transfer is to the United States of America, has the US recipient of the data signed up to the US Department of Commerce Safe Harbor Scheme?"

    Request to please include include integration with AffiniPay’s new gateway “ChargeIO." We've done our pricing, and while AffiniPay is available through Authorize.net, the more affordable option is to directly work with AffiniPay.

20. Read only admin on the app

    I would like to see read-only admins with the ability to log,on the the app on an iPad/iPhone. This would allow us to give our employees the access to quickly verify that someone is a current member without the ability to make any changes to any of the members information.

    Currently only myself and a supervisor have that ability. We have to print out copies of the database with all the members to allow the employees to look up the members. That's a lot of paper every month. My other option than I'm looking at is an export to another database program.
