  1. Provide event name on Financial documents

    When using the Financial tab, it is difficult to tell the source of the transaction, other than the general "event registration". For events, it would be extremely helpful if the list displayed the name of the specific event. Now you have to open the transaction to see which event it is for.

    This problem is even more apparent when viewing open balances from canceled registrations ---- WA does not record the source of the cancelation (except within the specific event). And since the invoice is deleted on cancels, there is no record in WA of the actual DATE of the…

  3. More flexibility in specifying tax treatments of items is needed

    On membership invoices, some extra charges are taxable and others not. E.g. dues and initiation fees are taxed while stock fees are not.
    Also some events are taxable and other events are not.
    While I can specify prices to be inclusive of tax and not apply taxes to entire invoices, this make accounting much more difficult.

  4. Email Auto Reminders for Other Open Invoices

    Would like options to set auto emails for open invoices other than just membership invoices. ie: events and manual invoices created when open for 30/60/90 days etc. the system should auto email the invoices again. It is too cumbersome to expect users to manually send each one.

  7. Let Admins "un-void" an invoice

    We ABSOLUTELY need to be able to resurrect/"un-void" invoices that have been expired. It is possible that a member mails a check and it arrives after due date, but I will honor the post mark if it is before the deadline. I want to be able to "un-void" an invoice, and not need to generate a new one.

    When I send out an invoice it actually gets sent rather than the page not loading and me having to retype out my email and send it.

  9. Assign income codes to financial transactions

    It would be helpful if Wild Apricot offered the option to automatically assign a certain transaction type with an income code.

    We currently add the income revenue buckets that we use to the transactions on a monthly basis, and this would save us a lot of work!

    It would be helpful if, for example, we could assign all revenue from membership dues for both new and renewing members to "4100 - Membership Income"; all revenue from monthly programs to "4200 - Program Income", and so forth.

  10. hyperlink in manual invoices

    In generating a manual invoice you can not include a hyperlink to a page in your website to refer the member to for further information.

  11. Income breakdown members / non-members p.a.

    Is there a way to extract income from members and non-members from all events p.a.? I can only see how to do this per event, not all. I would like to see how much income we received from our members and from non-members to include this figure in our Annual Report.

  12. Reoccuring Invoices for Vendor Sponsorship renewals

    I would like to request an enhancement request for invoicing.

    We are a non-profit information security organization (local chapter of ISSA) and every year I have to manually create an identical invoice for each vendor that sponsors up.

    The enhancement I would like to recommend is:

    1. Reoccuring invoices. This would create a new invoice 12 months after the last one, give me the ability to review it, and send it out to the vendor. And/Or

    2. The ability to clone an existing invoice. This would allow me to take an invoice I sent last year and clone it. It…

  13. Separate ID # from Organization Name in QB Export

    I would like to recommend separating the identifier number for each member from organization name in exports to Quick Books. The identifier does not allow for alphabetizing of organizations or ready merging with accounts that exisit in QB.

  15. Don't Display Incorrect Payment Instructions on Profile Page (Bug Fix)

    When there are outstanding invoices, the profile page displays the General payment instructions (from Settings / Finance / Payment settings).

    But some invoices may have different payment instructions, specified either in the event or membership instructions in that setting, or in the specific event.

    Nevertheless the profile page displays the General payment instructions, which may be incorrect. So the member can send a payment to the wrong place.

    I recommend that If any of the outstanding invoice(s) have custom or different payment instructions, do not display the General payment instructions. Instead, say "Click invoice for payment instructions."

  16. Aging receivables report improvements

    It would be helpful to have the invoice number show up on the Aging Receivables Report. It could be a separate column by the contacts name and organization. That would eliminate the need to click on the contact's name to find the open invoice in their account.

  18. Generate a 990 EZ form from your financial data

    The 990 EZ is an IRS form for exemption from income tax. Filling them out is a lot of work. How about an option to generate a 990 EZ draft, filling out some of the fields based on the year's annual revenue, sales, company name, tax ID, donations, etc...just anything to reduce the pain point of this monster document. If you need to have a message box alert that says something like "Its your responsibility to ensure the accuracy and this is only a draft to help you get started with your local accountant".

  19. Online Payment pulls ALL invoice amounts

    Online payment issue: My my members are finding that their whole balance shows in Pay Pal (all events etc- EVEN THOUGH they have seleced INVOICE ME on some of these these) when trying to purchase one small item (in this case a $30 shirt). This has not happened in past years. Yes, I've just found out that they can log in and uncheck invoices but HOW would they know that and WHY should they have to??? They already selected INVOICE ME.   20. Add user ID as account number

    We have hit a road-block with our credit union.
    As we were attempting to set up online payment so that members cold pay directly from the Credit Union (vs. using PayPal), our CU informed us that we need an account # on the invoice.
    When we are creating the invoice, it shows the user along with their user ID#
    However, when the actual invoice is created, the system drops their ID # and only shows their name.
