  1. Event Dev

    Creating an event is more difficult than it needs to be and the results are less than optimum.

    1 - It isn't exactly WYSIWYG. The area for an event is not shown precisely as designed when displayed live.

    2 - Because of the design constraints resulting from the system generated block of event details the content describing the event extends too far down the page forcing the visitor to scroll more than necessary.

  2. More collaborative approach to Events

    Any member of the bicycle club can easily post a ride to the event calendar, much like creating a topic on the forum.

    The ride leader would simply click a "gadget icon", enter the ride description, date and time of the event, and post it. The event would automatically send email notifications and contain a link to the forum. The email recipients and timing of the email blasts could be configured by Admin via a system or template page.

  3. Make white space available

    At times the amount of unavailable white space impedes content design. While the whole page is an issue my primary concern is the system event notification (blue box on left side - see attached image)
    It seems to me that the area for the image could be segregated leaving more space for content. As it stand now the narrow area remaining stings out content down the page - result, too much scrolling.

  4. Change Field Type in Event Forms

    I'd like to be able to update form types after the form has been saved. For example, if a field type is saved as multiple choice but then during testing we realize it should be a radio button, currently I have to create a new field and delete the old one instead of just editing the type of the existing field.

    Our event attendees really want to be able to easily see who's going like meetup. Currently the way to view "registrants" is not obvious to lot's of people.

    It would be great if you could make it easier for people to see who is going.

  6. Event registrations : Pending vs Overdue Anomaly

    WA prevents members with pending payment from registering for member only events - which is a good idea.

    However overdue members are able to register - this is a bad idea.

    Surely this is an anomaly which needs to be corrected ?

  7. Improved registration and menu selection.

    Please give us a better way to collect menu selections for our events. Currently, we are using a custom field, which appears with the member registration area, before they have registered guests. We would like to be able to enter the menu selection for each registered guests, all within the Guest Registration area.

  9. Provide for default dates for event notification emails

    It would be great if there was the ability to set up default date (days before the event) for event emails. We basically use the same timing of emails for each of our events. It would be much easier if we only had to do this once rather than with each event. Thanks

  10. Expo

    Are there any plans to incorporate Tradeshow/Conference Mangement Tools within the system? I am such great need of a system to run our Tradeshows (all in one). Corporate Sponsors, Exhibitors, Floor Plans. Speaker management system where speakers can upload their bio's, headshots, session descriptions and hand outs. A system that would generate the program from the data entered. If not can you recommend one that we can incorporate in a widget or something? Thanks!

  11. Added registrants by admin - email messages not being sent automatically

    When your system does all the great things automatically, such as registering online for an event, I really appreciate them. Getting copies of registrations, payments, etc. helps me a great deal.
    WHY would you NOT want to provide the same level of service when I enter a NEW registrant manually myself?
    The way it is currently working, if I add a new registrant and the information required, THEN I have to ASK the system to:
    * Send a registration confirmation message to the NEW registrant.
    * Send a registration confirmation message to me (and the other Admins).

  12. Produce screen display data as a single, coherent table that can be exported or copied.

    First, many people have asked for various ways to export various reports, but there are so many wishes that none of them has a lot of votes. Yet, overall, reporting is -- or should be -- a capability that any thoughtful organization should require.

    Let me also preface that exporting raw data to a spreadsheet file is NOT a solution to the needs of many of us. 1) We came to WA to AVOID messing with spreadsheets. 2) Some of our (otherwise very competent) members (volunteers all) abhor spreadsheets.     Option to secure the event registration list so only the admin who posts the event can delete or add registrations via admin editing. We have many event admins, but have encountered some abuse where admins go into events not their own to change participation.

  14. Put event registration list on the event details page

    Put the event registration list on the same page as the event details. There's no reason why they are on different pages. This would make it much easier for organizers and attendees to see who's attending an event without all the extra clicks.

  16. Event Deletion Protections

    URGENT: Add additional protections for deleting events.

    Problem: If a past event is deleted - particularly a large event with many attendees and payments - it is catastrophic since there is no option to restore an event and all of it's related invoices.

    The Duplicate button and the Delete button both lie under the Edit menu and are easily confused.

    Solution 1: INADEQUATE - Move the Duplicate and Delete buttons to different menus

    Solution 2: ADEQUATE - Create a BIG RED warning when deleting a past event with a second "are you really sure you want to delete this event?"…

  17. Enhance multiple answer fields export

    WISH LIST: For our events, participants can register for up to 10 "items" on a single registration. When I export the information, all the "items" appear in a single cell. It would be helpful if all the items they skipped had blank cells, and the items they selected had a notation. This is VERY IMPORTANT to me.

  18. Available Period under Registration Types

    In Help & Support, under "Event Registration Available Period" it is important to tell users that this function appears under Event Details until two or more Registration Types are created. Thereafter, the Event REgistration Available Period can only be changed by editing the Registration Type.
