Many thanks for your comments and feedback in this thread - it was super helpful for us in analysis and design of the feature.
I'm happy to announce that we're working on adding donations to compensate payment processing fees. This feature will be released later this year. Some design decisions I wanted to speak out explicitly:
1. We decided to proceed with optional donations to compensate credit card processing fees as opposed to surcharges/convenience fee.
Main reasons for this is that there are too many regulations around mandatory charges to compensate fees: it's illegal in some countries/states, there are caps on how much you could charge, etc. To avoid all of this legal complications we decided to suggest members to opt-in to compensate processing fees, as opposed to make them obligatory.
All these transactions will be recorded as donations in WA and can be later used for tax deduction.2. You…

Kim: that what people do, but strictly speaking your contract with credit card providers does not allow you do this. You are not allowed to give then preference of payments in cash versus credit card.

Guillaume - I'm not aware of a workaround.
I also want to mention, that as far as I know, MasterCard and Visa merchant rules do not allow to charge a fee (surcharge) when you use credit card. May I ask you, how do you overcome this requirement when you suggest different price for cash and credits?

Do your members have to pay by credit card only or you also accept check payments? If credit cards only, why don't you add the fee into membership fee itself and add a note that credit card fee is included into the price?

Hm, interesting. Can you then describe the whole setup in your mind? Are these 2 different websites, or one website where members login and have special access to create new content, like pages, etc.?

Walt, there are number of details, this is why I asked to contact our tech support. They have information and know how to process such requests. See http://www.wildapricot.com/wildapricotcontact

Paul, you can contact our tech support and they can help you with a workaround (like hiding the labels using CSS).

Hi Franz, not sure why I did not receive your reply back to our ticketing system. Thanks for posting your feedback here, we will use this information at some point.

Thanks for response Ruthi (though my comment was addressed to originator of this suggestion, smaul).
Your example (1) is something we planned for the very next release, will see how it goes.
For (2) - this is something we will working on next year, this is harder to do.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commented
smaul: Why cannot it be addressed now? How do you define "session"? Is it a field in event registration form, or are you talking about Registration types? It would be great, if you provide bigger picture for me, what kind of organization you are, what kind of events you have, how you organize them and what kind of problem you have in Wild Apricot to address this setup.
Without this information it would be hard to proceed with this request.

I understand, Natasha. But we have a lot of things on our plate and have to prioritize. My biggest prioritization tool is number of votes, and this particular requests has very few of them.

I think this should belong to http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825569-affiliate-program-integration, shouldn't it?

Gavin: no, and there are no plans yet.

I was looking through this long thread and thinking - there is no way we can handle it in a full integration scale this year (of may be even ever). But can something be done as a quick substitute for the full integration? Well, there might be options.
I'm thinking about something like "callback" function on WA side. Imagine we have a special new setting page, where an admin can setup an URL to call when a payment transaction completes (actually, several URLs - for membership application, renewal, level change or event registration, or donation). Just several texboxes where admin defines an URL - e.g. as it was mentioned by ptorto1 at http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825569-affiliate-program-integration-2986
The URLs can also use some macros that WA will supply - e.g. Contact ID, Invoice Number, Date, Amount, Transaction ID, etc.
This means that whenever the payment transaction for the listed cases occurs (e.g. membership application is paid), WA will call the URL defined by admin, substituting macros in emails with transaction specific data.
If we do this - and this is actually very simple to do and can be done quite quickly - can this be useful?

I agree, I asked one of my colleagues to look at this. From what I remember, the system was designed to work as requested (inheriting access rights).

Hi Martha, thank you for the feedback. Check this suggestion - http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825644-add-new-admin-role-limited-to-sending-emails - add a vote there, this is the one you're talking about.

Re Google Feedburner - sorry, I personally don't know about this.

Currently each directly provides an access to member details card which is same per member. In your case, there will be several different ways to look into single member profile depending on where you came to it from. I think this will be difficult to manage.

Great suggestion! Thanks for sharing.
By the way, here in Wild Apricot we're also thinking of doing something similar: when someone opens a new WA trial, they go through a series of steps, checking each one by one. So I totally understand the idea.

I would also add a comment: not just control width, but also keep it hidden when admin closes it. Currently, it opens every time when you refresh browser page.

Thanks for the feedback, Treat. I was surprised myself that we do not have advanced search criteria to perform a search on contacts based on email tracking options. I have updated the title of the suggestion to better reflect the idea.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commented
Or, instead, would you prefer to have special advanced search criteria to find contacts/members which clicked on a link in specific email?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commented
Unfortunately, this specific idea is not currently in our Roadmap. You can see our current status and progress in our Roadmap - http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8827717-roadmap-2015-plans-releases-expected-dates
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commented
First 4 options are all about advanced search - you go to the contact list, initiate advanced search, select conditions I mentioned and defines specific email sent, then do the search and then export or initiate new email.
Another option is when you're in specific email blast detail screen and you see a list of recipients (some of them are failed, some clicked links), there are links somewhere in the screen and when you clilck on them, you get to the filtered contact list. There can be several such links and they are just for a quick search of some predefined conditions.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commented
But I would also like to hear comments from others as this looks as a very useful scenario - to be able to make follow up actions (email, export) based on result of email (link clicked or not, email opened or not, etc.)
My current option in mind is to add new criteria into advanced search of contacts - like these:
1) Recipients of specific email that CLICKED or DID NOT CLICK on specific link
2) Recipients of specific email that DID NOT CLICK ON ANY LINK
3) Recipients of specific email that OPENED or DID NOT OPEN specific email
4) Recipients of specific email that OPENED BUT DID NOT CLICK ANY LINKCombination of these conditions would allow you to get a list of contacts based on various or rules and then you can send follow up emails, make an export, etc.
Also, another option could be to have a quick links right in the email details so you can click and get into contact list that is filtered on some predefined conditions .

Good suggestion, but it would be hard for us to develop custom chat or voice chat software. But we may integrate with some existing ones in future.
Could you provide mode details and some elaborated examples? Currently sounds unclear to me.
