Initial user experience for members - a set of tasks or steps to go though and check as done
Has a gadget or widget that is placed on the members membership level homepage or at a page where a training program is located that is like a tick box button so when the clients finishes a series of video's or a subject they can tick a box to say it's complete and then there is a summary box of those completed taksks on their main membership page. Helping them to feel they are getting through the content on my site.
So you either tick it at the end of the chosen page and it summaries it on their main membership dashboard or they have one on the main dashboard they tick.
Please see Hidden Secrets Of Money.com - you have to sign up to see it in action but image attached
2- Once they reach a certain level and have say completed a section and ticked it off what would be great is that automatically triggered an email congratulating them.
3- Another one would be if the client doesn't log on for a designated period of time they receive a series of emails to encourage them to log on. The system shows when they last logged in so it would be great that three after they get a email.

would allow us to gamify the initial user experience - prizes, badges, kudos for finishing tasks

Great suggestion! Thanks for sharing.
By the way, here in Wild Apricot we're also thinking of doing something similar: when someone opens a new WA trial, they go through a series of steps, checking each one by one. So I totally understand the idea.
