1. FieldValues array with proper keys

   When using the FieldValues array currently the array has to be iterated to find the proper value you wish to access. It would be better if FieldValues array had properly named keys (maybe the SystemCode?) rather than just indexed keys.

   Currently we use this PHP code to iterate an array each time we look for a particular value, and it's not really an ideal or very readable:

   Accessing FieldValues[SystemCode][Value] would be much nicer so FieldValues['MemberSince'][Value] would be much more preferred.

   API is already used by hundreds of organizations, so we can’t just change data structures in existing API. Please use solution suggested by Alex Sirota.

2. Prevent Accidental Large-Scale Archiving

   Our membership director has accidentally archived hundreds of membership records twice in the last two months. I'd like a feature to prevent large-scale accidents. Perhaps an extra step or an extra privilege setting to archive more than a few records at one time.

   To prevent accidental archiving the ‘Archive contacts’ button has been removed.
   You can still archive contacts one at a time from their contact records, and archive multiple contacts by importing a properly formatted spreadsheet.

3. saving emails

   i often get kicked out while doing an email and even though it says auto saved, it did not. Would love to have a button to save as we go along and not rely on auto save for emails

   Done long ago. There is now a ‘save’ link in a top left corner of the email wizard.

5. Remain within current contact financials upon deleting an invoice or payment. Is this a bug?

   For various reasons, there are times which arise when an invoice or payment needs to be deleted. It frustrates us that each time we delete an invoice or payment within a particular contact's financial transactions, we are consistently redirected out to the global financial page for invoices or payments, respectively.

   If we are editing financials at the contact level, we should be returned to that contact's financials alone. More often than not, there are still other tasks to perform within the contact. It takes a lot of unnecessary extra steps to get back to where we need to be when we are redirected away.

   I will admit that once in a blue moon, it actually does stay within the current contact's financial info (but very rarely). This makes me wonder if this issue is simply a bug, and the expected behavior is actually to stay within the current contact.

6. Show the actual color next to "automatic" color and styles

   Color and styles : rather thank just showing "automatic", actually show the color was well. it would make locating the background or text color in the web pages much easier to edit.

8. Mobile apps using square to pay online for registrations. Need tutorial and where to begin!

   Make the service and ability to pay on line via square using a computer too more obvious on the site. I am new to this, need it, and don't even know where to begin. Need a tutorial explaining it. We want to drop PayPal and move to having payments handled by a bank, not PayPal.

   It is totally possible. In order to use your custom domain as a source of emails, please configure a custom domain in website settings and add SPF record in your DNS settings.

10. Registration Enabled button on development page

    The "Registration is Disabled" wording continues to confound me as I create a registration form. After creating the registration form the registration enabled button should appear on the form itself. I have spent too much time looking for the Registration Enabled button and it is not where it intrinsically should be.

11. Waitlist enable / disable status is not clear for registration types

    Wait list granularity is great.
    However, it would be nice if the user interface made things clear. Because right now, they're not. UI tweaks can solve a world of headaches.

    In version 3.0 you can:

    • Send email from existing draft
    • View and manage scheduled emails
    • View sent emails and check delivery status
    • Send email to event attendees (from event screen).

    Check App Store and Google Play for version update.

    Clarification:

    PayPal Here integration does not break any existing tools or workflows, so your members can continue using online payments as they are used to. PayPal Here gives you a tool to accept payments from mobile app. For example you can accept credit card if somebody came to offline event with unpaid registration.

15. Prioritize Test Emails Ahead of "Final" Email Blasts

    From time to time, there are delays in receiving emails sent through Wild Apricot. In a perfect world, this would not happen but it is understandable as there will be times of high volume.

    If, however, test emails were prioritized higher than "final" email blasts, we could review emails and get them sent and move on to another task knowing that this task was complete (even though members may be waiting to receive it).

    As it is, the administrator must wait as long (it seems) as an email blast for each test to come through before making additional edits or sending on to their membership.

    The result is at best, inefficiency of work and a further delay in members receiving the information and at worst, forgetting to go back and send the email to the membership.

    This issue was fixed a few months ago. Have you noticed any delays in sending test email during last couple of months?

16. Add a linkable button gadget

    A linkable button as a gadget would be very helpful. It is difficult figuring out the html code to embed if you are not already fluent in code. I would honestly put buttons all over my site.

    Billing history is retained in new WildApricot billing system. You will be able to access all payments history as soon as payment is made via new billing. For previous payments, you can still reach our billing support team at billing@wildapricot.com

    – Review aging receivables
    – Sent email reminder about outstanding invoices
    – Capture notes to invoices.
    – Find all financial documents for a member in a single place.
    – Accept credit card payments

19. Alternate payment options for members

    I am using PayPal for membership dues payments. Some of my members
    object to using PayPal online and want to send check or call in with a
    card. I am forced to do one or the other but it is a pain when I have to
    go outside the system for a payment. In my store I am able to set up an
    alternate payment system that remains in my cart and allows the customer
    to select • credit card payment and the next page only shows spaces for
    name, card #, expiration, etc. This they do not mind because PayPal is
    not on the page.

    I do not see a way to set up an alternate method of payment with
    Wildapricot. Can this be done?

    In my store I use WePay and it was done in the store admin area in about
    2 minutes. Now the shopper can choose PayPal or choose Credit Card
    (which is WePay).

    You can setup PayPal Pro payments and then your members will be able to enter their credit card on special Wild Apricot (not PayPal) page – see https://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/PayPal+Payments+Pro?from=aQ2qB
    As far as I understand, this will solve your problem – while internally either payment will still be processed via PayPal.

    Photo albums. Next and prev. scrolling through large images. Is there a way to have the album scroll through the large images without displaying the whole page? Currently, if there is any text at the top, in a context gadget above the album next and prev scrolling causes the window to jump so that the text needs to be displayed again. This causes the next and prev scrolling to jump and requires scrolling down (again and again).

    Which just launched a new Photo Gallery gadget in 7.14 version, that has a more modern UI and, I believe, solves these issues.
