  1. Allow multiple choice options to not be sorted A-Z or Z-A but fixed in the order I enter them.

    We have fields in our database that offer selections of day of week (Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat). Currently WA will always sort these in either A-Z or Z-A order according to the field definition. But we would like the option to force the order to always remain in the entered order.

  2. Random order for Slide Show Pictures

    Currently you can have a folder of pictures and display them in a slide show. The slide show is dictated by the picture file name (alpha numerical).
    It would be great to have the Slide Show start on a random picture from the folder and thereafter, rather than always starting on the first picture. Or alternatively, having to delete, rename or order slide show pictures.

    This will offer members and visitors a fresh view whenever they visit the site.

  3. Can a member change their email address?

    I just sent out membership renewal notices through Wild Apricot and one of members tried to update their email address and the system would not let them. Are only admins allowed to do that? How do I instruct my membership on this going forward?

    A member can easily change their password via member profile page. Their they can click on Edit and change whatever member profile fields they want to change, including email. The only restriction is that you cannot use email that is already used in database by some other contact.

    (next time please contact our support with these kind of questions, this is not wishlist type question)

  4. Let me know who doesn't open our newsletter?

    We regularly send out newsletters to all our contacts. Our open rate varies between 50 and 65%. I would love to ba able to contact people who do NOT open the newsletters to see if they want to remain on our contact list.

    This is possible, but admittedly not the easiest option to find.
    Here’s how it works:

    1) Click on the email in the email log and click on the delivered tab
    2) On that tab there is a filter dropdown, select the first option “not opened/clicked”
    3) Click on “Send again to selected” button at the top of the screen

  5. Make the Origin field in Invoices universally available to forms for Financial reports

    I strongly recommend making the Origin field in Invoices universally available to all forms. Even if it isn't used in many of the forms it could be hidden so that it can be an option to select for reports.
    This became important when we were trying to view Payments by Event income and membership income and wanted the Invoice Origin to be included. It would save us hours of work.

  6. Erase membership status for members not approved

    I often have someone sign up to be a member that doesn't live in the neighborhood. I reimburse their money but am left as seeing them as a "pending member' with a balance. The person was never a member. How can I remove that status and just leave the person as a contact? Is the only way to do this to "suspend" the member who was never a member?

  7. let bundle admins add existing contacts to their bundle

    We have a problem with bundle admins creating duplicate contacts because there isn't a way for them to add an existing contact to their bundle or even know the duplicate exists. Then we have to fix the mistake on the back end.

  8. Reregister after cancellation

    Participants who have previously registered for an event and have had the event cancelled cannot reregister for the same event. Please fix that function.

    We checked this and found out that it works properly.
    If member has canceled registration, he can later register again for this event.

  9. Make admin mode stateless e.g. access by direct URL, allow to have several tabs or windows be open simultaneously

    For example: For admins, provide a link from each site page to the edit screen for that page. And allow me to bookmark that URL, or share it with other admins.

    Likewise, each of the menu items for Admin mode -- i.e., each of the items under Dashboard, Contacts, etc. -- should be reachable via a URL that I can bookmark or share with other admins.

    Ideally, every search could be represented with URLs too.

  12. reduce number of emails when renewing online

    When our members renew online, the default is to send them 4 separate emails.

    • one email saying your member renewal has been initiated but not paid yet
    • one email showing the invoice
    • one email showing the payment receipt
    • one email confirming that renewal was completed successfully

    People get so many emails already, and this seems like an unnecessary number for what could be a simple transaction. Is there to combine some of these emails? Maybe the first two could be combined into one, and then the second two could be combined into one, so that they only receive two emails…

  13. widen the field for email on the login screen on mobile so mistakes can be seen

    the email field in the login screen on mobile is too short. I had extra characters at the end that I couldn't see blocking my login.

  15. finance reports need a detail field

    So I sell a membership and that person also bought a map and made a donation. When I create the invoice, the membership automatically shows up. I can add a line for the map. If I add it first in the donations tab before creating the invoice, the donation will also automatically be added to the report.
    BUT when I download a list of the payments for that day, I get one entry for that person (the membership) with the total amount paid. I need the membership to show on the report separate from map.

  18. New Image Insert needs modification

    The new insert image feature does not seem to be working the same way for a right side image with text left and a left side image with the text right. With the image on the right it is giving the extra spaces so that the picture is not jammed into the text. However, with the image on the left there are no spaces between the image and the text. This will be a problem, especially when doing pages like Board Members where you have images on the right and the left (at times). Please see the attached screen shot…

    When you insert image on the right, text just wraps word by word regularly to avoid overlapping an image and it appears to have some margins.
    On the left, where there is no wrapping absence of margins is clearly visible.
    This is exactly what is shown in your screenshot.

    You can easily do it yourself – we use uservoice.com for this and they provide tools to embed feedback gadgets into any site.

  20. Simplified admin creation

    Currently to add a new administrator you must look up an existing contact/member and edit their login details to give them "admin access".

    This could be much simpler if it was handled via an "add admin" workflow.

    You can find new ‘Manage account administrators’ item under Account menu in the upper right corner of admin view. Or just click on ‘Account administrators’ link on the Settings page.
