An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedYou can have a membership level specifically for sponsors - and then have special event registration type (free) for members on this level. Why doesn't it work for you? Please, share your point of view on this, this will help us to understand better.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI removed the part about making a donation during event registrations as we have a separate suggestion about this. I have added your comments and votes for that idea.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThis can be done with Advance search, but I assume that you need it to work in simple keyword search, correct?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI'm not sure what you mean by "duplicate" in this context, could you please elaborate?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedCould you please describe your scenario - why do you need this? Is it about a family membership? The more details, the better. Thank you in advance!
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedDo you mean that in the directory you want to see 1 line - per family, not 2 - for each parent?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedBruce - what you're talking about is going to be mostly solved in another suggestion, http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825614-allow-secondary-alternate-emails-for-members
Current thread is more of a bigger problem which may require a number of different changes in the system to properly accommodate family memberships, like group renewals, event registrations, etc.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedNo, not really - decisions tree are not possible. We will consider this point when we will be working on family bundles.
For now the only thing you can use are bundles functionality, but they have their limits and will not be able to achieve all you described.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThis is one of top priority issues in our plans, but it's also hard to analyze and develop. For now we have no progress, but all your comments will help us to create a proper solution after all.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedCheck out this thread - http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825614-allow-secondary-alternate-emails-for-members-3195 While more general family/child memberships issue can take a while to resolve, we've come up with faster and easier workaround for main scenario (emailing to key person).
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedI think that this request has to be handled as a part of bigger one about Family/child membership - http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825986-family-child-memberships-8131
Merging.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commenteddo you mean that each bundle member in your case has a different membership?

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedFrankly, there is quite a low chance of introducing this plan. The difference between these 2 plans is $30, which is $360 a year and with 10% discount for annual payments its $324 a year. Not much.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedGood idea, thanks for sharing. I would say that we here, at Wild Apricot, have to re-thing fields customization logic - e..g create v2. But this is not something we're going to do soon, this year we're focusing on several very specific top voted items.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedBob, I created a separate idea for your last comment - see http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/18672796
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedHi Christina, why would you need that? Currently, Wild Apricot sends an email notification to admin when a new member applies. Why is not this enough? What is it you want to do with a popup notification?

Please review results of our analysis and design:
https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1aBh3RKOIAbC-YOkpQtRJ8kv9kH3ZlXSID7Ezl1bCAlg/pub?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000Post your comments/ideas right here. Until we see major disapproval, this is what we will develop in one of future releases.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedWalt, sometimes I feel like I have to transfer you some of my income - as you do part of my job here at the forum, by following and replying to a number of comments from our customers :)
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedNo update so far. When we have one, we will update the status.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedBrian - no update yet. I can share that we're not going to have it in H1 of 2016 as no development has started yet. But this is the top thing in email roadmap, for sure.
The mode details you can share on what you really want here, the better solution we can provide. So if there is anything you can add, please do.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedWalt - thanks for the feedback, we will use it when we start development. I have shared your notes with developers.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedIt is not being developed yet and I cannot say when it will be. As soon as we start development, I will post an update
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedWe're not putting it on back burner, just delayed a little. I think we will start working on it Q1 next year.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThe design we created works simpler: email reply posts a comment (or event a new topic) into a forum and then each participant is notified according to their notification preferences on the forum.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedNo need to pay extra, all our system updates are free for paying customers.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedKim: not 2015, we have already scheduled all the releases to the end of the year.
Evgeny Zaritovskiy supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedYes, it was (as it says on our Roadmap page, the schedule can change any time). We hit a snag during implementation of this item and had to reschedule our resources. It is still very important item, we will get back to it as soon as we can.
An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThis will not be in scope of suggested change. Most probably, I will archive this thread as soon as we release what we planned and we will be reconsidering new suggestions after that.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThe closest thing to what you're asking is this one - http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825587-ability-to-submit-forum-posts-by-email-to-use-fo
We've already designed it and posted our suggested solution in the thread comments.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedAnalysis is in progress now - this is in our Roadmap http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Product+roadmap
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedBy the way, currently, when you compose email, you can choose specific group as recipient - and system will send email to all group members. Can this help?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThanks for your input, Alan. We have related thread about listsevr - http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825587-ability-to-submit-forum-posts-by-email-to-use-fo - we will include your scenario in the design. No timeline though, sorry.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThis is still in our queue and unlikely to be done in 2011.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedOn behalf of one of our customers:
Currently, there is no way when sending an email blast to specify some recipients as CC (Carbon copy). Without this, every recipient of the email can consider the email as some action to follow up, not as FYI. Adding CC (or BCC) can help to deal with this.An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedWhat about email routing settings?
http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Routing+of+system+emails
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedFor event registation email in even details you can specify to make a copy to Administrator. "Administrator" in this case is taken from "Email routing" settings. There you can add your secretary email.
We also are currently (in upcoming 4.4 release) working on ability to specify event specific administrator so that all event emails can be routed specifically to him, no broadcasted to all admins.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThanks Walt, this is exactly the workaround I wanted to share, but you were first. Thank you for watching by back!
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedIs it similar to batch updating records? See https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825719-batch-update-of-contacts-or-members
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedTrenton, currently you can use export/import process a a workaround. Basically, you export all Lapsed contacts, then import this file and only use Email and Status fields from the source file.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedSplit into dedicated thread.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedThis is kind of different from original comment - but I like idea of tagging member for group actions. I think we need to consider this as a separate change.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedYou can restore them in Suspended Membership status - would it work? This basically keeps them as contacts and they do not count into membership numbers.

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedAlexia, thanks for the feedback. Could you elaborate a little "embarrassing mess" thing? Particular details can help us to understand the problem better and ultimately improve it.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedWalt, thank you and I agree. Though this is not something we're going to do soon

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedOn behalf of a customer:
I have been asked to be able to check-off each attendee and to print on small label printers their attendance name tag when they are checked in. It is counterproductive and expensive to print 450 nametags when there might only be 200 attendees for the event. We need the ability to print nametags, etc. onsie-twosie on demand at the event table.Evgeny Zaritovskiy supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedNot sure I understand, can you please elaborate?
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedSorry, we do not provide estimates. We tried for some time in the past, we realized that there are too many unknowns and we cannot predict our development to keep up with out promises, so we decided against estimates.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedSharon - thanks for sharing.
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedOur current development status, plans and releases schedule are described in our Roadmap - see http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8827717-roadmap-2015-plans-releases-expected-dates
An error occurred while saving the comment Evgeny Zaritovskiy commentedNo update yet. This is one of the next steps after 5.0 release, as we've built required framework to create new gadgets, like that and others.
No update is expected for this particular thread in at least first half of this year.
This by (old) design, but I understand and agree with your point. But for now we're going to keep it the way it is, while we're focusing on other things - top voted suggestions.
