Add the ability to cc and bcc people when sending an email
When I send an email to a select group of members or contacts, I would like to be able to cc or bcc people not in that group, with that shown in the email log. For example, if I'm emailing someone about an issue with his/her member account, I'd like to be able to cc or bcc the membership coordinator for our group.
I need to add cc's to emails that go out via templates to effectively notify others of the main email. For instance, an email welcoming a new member with the ability to copy the board of directors notifying them of the new member. This would be helpful and intuitive ... we do it all the time outside of Wild Apricot. John.

I would also love to see a CC/BCC option made available on manual emails. When dealing with individual membership issues, I often need to send CCs of my correspondence to our President and/or other managers, mostly as an FYI so they'll be aware of the issues I'm dealing with. Currently there is no way to do this within the Wild Apricot email system, so I have to go outside WA and send the email manually.
Agree with prior commenters. This functionality still needs to be added. Don't like having to jump to another email system just so I can CC/BCC groups.

There needs to be a cc: and bc: field on the software so there is the ability to copy someone else on e-mails as opposed to having to address an e-mail to everyone.
This is a useful idea to our club as well.
Presently we may have a board member corresponding directly with a member or event attendee. In order to do a CC or BCC email, they have to resort to using their email client on their computer. This bypasses WA and we have no official log of this correspondence.

On behalf of one of our customers:
Currently, there is no way when sending an email blast to specify some recipients as CC (Carbon copy). Without this, every recipient of the email can consider the email as some action to follow up, not as FYI. Adding CC (or BCC) can help to deal with this.

There needs to be an option to CC and BCC staff within our organization when we send emails to our members.

We have had a few instances when it would be nice to add CC or BCC addresses to a targeted blast email. Especially if the small blast is targeted to Member breaking condo rules, and wish to copy BOD.

What about email routing settings?

This may not be the correct place to put this, but I' trying to figure a way where we can add a cc to an email based off of a search.
To explain: We do a search for members in, say, a particular city to send an email to. But we also at times need to copy that email to a couple other people not associated with that City or search query. Isn't there a way to add these people to the email?

For event registation email in even details you can specify to make a copy to Administrator. "Administrator" in this case is taken from "Email routing" settings. There you can add your secretary email.
We also are currently (in upcoming 4.4 release) working on ability to specify event specific administrator so that all event emails can be routed specifically to him, no broadcasted to all admins.

I also think that there should be a CC and/or BCC notification when an event registration is made. We have situations when a secretary signs up member (the boss) and the member is the only one that receives the email notification. we want the secretary to also be included in the email notifications. the secretary would be allowed to add their email for the notifications only.

There should be CC (carbon copy) and BCC (blind carbon copy) lists available anywhere an admin has the ability to send an email. Currently there is only a "To" list.

More generally, it would be great to be able to cc/bcc anyone on any email. While most often this will be other contacts already in the database, it would be great to be able to cc/bcc anyone-- not just those in the contacts.
I have a standing request from two of my members to have more than one person copied on system e-blasts, e.g., renewal reminders.

This is not possible now - but sounds like a useful idea.
Would appreciate input from everyone.
Having created club-specific email templates (i.e. to welcome new members or acknowledge those rejoining) it be be good to have the ability to add a CC address to the email templates so the relevant coordinators are aware of new members joining particular groups. This facility is not currently available to anything except system generated emails.
Is there a way to cc another board member or staff member when I send out a personal email to a member /contact or when we send out eblasts?
