The preferred action for an event would be to issue an invoice automatically, send it via email, and then allow online payments.
I guess this would be like a recurring payment.Garry Swanson supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedOur community association runs a preschool program, and the tuition is paid monthly. A recurring payment on an event (a preschool class) would be great.

Concurrent membership is not something easy to implement - it would require fundamental redesign of how membership works in WA. However, I have couple of thoughts here that I wanted to hear your feedback on.
As I understand, there are 2 sides of the problem:
1. Collecting additional dues for services. E.g. Member is associate and board member, so you need to collect both dues.
- This can be addressed using our extra fields functionality. Maybe it's a bit clunky, but it should work. E.g. setup associate member as primary membership and add extra charge checkbox for being a board member.
- You can easily filter down any members you need with advances search by that extra field.
2. Setting correct permissions on website pages - here there's no workaround we could suggest, but adding permissions based on saved searches seems to feasable option.

An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedIn some organizations there could be some committees that have memberships in addition to the main membership for the overall Would it be possible to change the Membership level from a drop-down list to check boxes, allowing for multiple selections.
I understand that there is a lot more involved (renewal notices, invoicing, etc.) but this would be quite useful.
I entered a wishlist item in finances for customized invoice templates for each member level.

An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedThere are some cases where we would like to have a membership level where an invoice is sent out Monthly. It would be beneficial if we could customize an invoice template to reflect wording for the membership level.
As an example, we have a membership level that would pay monthly, but we prefer not to call it a "renewal" but a "fee". The invoice would also come from a specific committee, which has their own logo that would be used for their invoice. The numbering could be the same, but some customization would be good.Garry Swanson supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedThis is something that we would use as well. We have a preschool program that is run separately from the main use. We'd like to have a preschool membership, and modify the invoice template to use their logo instead of the regular logo.

An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedYes, the starting page. For example, we run a program where a membership level isn’t viable, but putting the participants in a group, then directing them to a start page for the program would be very beneficial.

An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedMuch like how an Invoice gets a PAID watermark on it when the invoice is paid, a watermark for a VOID invoice would be useful.

Here are two ideas for the member app. I hope they can be retrieved..

At this juncture I think Id be happy with a splash screen and logo, just to get it out the door in a form our members would be able to use.An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedUnless it’s a stored variable after the first login.
An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedAlex.. see, I thought about that as a suggestion, but where would the domain be entered? A user setting wouldn't work for our organization.
An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedOpening the website from the logo header would work for sure.
An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedAgreed.. I wouldn’t expect custom branding at the App Store level, that’s what app developers for hire are for.
The ideal would probably be the WA login screen, then a splash screen with a logo, then the logo in a header or possibly a footer above the menu options? That’s my two cents anyway. An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedI guess it wouldn’t be a “title screen”.. a splash screen would be more like it.
An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedMy first idea would be something as simple as a user defined logo in the settings that would maybe appear in the title bar, or just below it. Maybe even a title screen before the events screen appears, with the logo and saying “Hello <member first name>, welcome to the <association name>.
An error occurred while saving the comment Garry Swanson commentedHi,
First, I like the member mobile app.. shows promise, and I appreciate all the work that's gone into it.
Initial feedback we've had from limited testing is that the app is great, but there is nowhere in the app that the information is linked to the organization.
It would be beneficial to have some sort of organization branding within the app once a member has logged in.

How are you going to use QR codes on membership cards? Do you expect some additional functionality in WA, which will be able to read and process these codes?

At times, we think it might be useful to include a custom field that initiates an action (i.e. "Yes, keep me in mind for volunteering") that would flag their profile. The profiles already have a field that is filled out as part of the initial membership sign up process, but it isn't filled out for another year.Garry Swanson supported this idea ·
We found a workaround using WA payments. AffiniPay allows recurring payments set up on their online portal, so we are using that for now. It isn’t ideal.. payments are taken out, then invoices are entered into WA and the payment is recorded.. but, it works for now.
