Collecting comments now.
Even though it is not a direct implementation, I hope this could be helpful:
We just launched integration with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows. We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them allows to copy google calendar events into WA events. So if you share a google calendar for events submission, then the scenario could copy submitted events into your Wild Apricot account.
You can try this integration by this link https://www.integromat.com/en/integration/2275-copy-google-calendar-into-wild-apricot-events
We do not have plans yet on when we’re going to deliver on this.
Sorry for the late update.
The first step was finished and emails can now be carbon copied to contact’s alternative emails. To do so the contact fields which store the alternative emails must be explicitly marked on the email setting page.
Unsubscribing will unsubscribe all alternative emails simultaneously because they all belong to the very same account. The person clicking “unsubscribe” is warned about this on the unsubscribe page.
For now we paused the development of this feature. but not for good. :) So I’m changing this wish status back to “collecting comments”.
Thank you everyone for a valuable feedback.
Thanks for sharing, we’ll be collecting comments for now.
This is on hold as of now. We analyzed and even prototyped a solution some time ago, but our priorities changed and now we’re focusing top-voted items – and this one has to wait its turn. But we will get back to it at some point, just cannot tell when yet.
My organization could use this and other validation. Some possible uses:
Member number (we are a state affiliate chapter of a larger national organization that our members must be a part of, and we need to know what their member number is)
I'd also like to see text validation, such as making sure that email addresses are valid, "other" text fields are only filled out when the "other" checkbox is selected, names are capitalized, and phone numbers are formatted correctly (###) ###-####. Some of these are just pet peeves, but they can make scanning info much easier and faster.
My organization has the same need!
There's a free Calendar widget called AddThisEvent [http://addthisevent.com/], but I'm struggling to integrate it into my event description, and I'm not sure what the problem is.
Has anyone had any luck integrating any "Add to Calendar" buttons to their events that don't simply generate an .ical file?
I'm looking for something such as the Seattle Dahlia Festival's page [http://seattle.findwell.com/event/seattle-dahlia-society-annual-show/] -- if you scroll down you can see a grey "+ Google Calendar" button that automatically opens up your Create Event function in Google Calendar. Much easier to use than exporting/importing an .ical file.
Thanks for any help you can give me!
