An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Alcott commentedThere should be an option on the contact and membership fields: alert administrator if changed
We use the membership and contact record to gather certain information (mailing address, email address, interest to sell their membership, etc). It would be useful to know when certain fields are changed by the users.

An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Alcott commentedEvent registrants should be able to modify registrations. If there is a max set, they should at least be able to modify *down*. Having this all go to an administrator is problematic and a tedious job for someone. The members can self-manage this if you allow it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Alcott commentedEvents should have optional add-on fields with separate quotas. For example, parking pass. My event may have a limit of 500 people, but I only have 10 parking passes. Right now, this has to be done with separate registrations. I would prefer to have an event with 2 registration types: total people, parking passes. There should be a limit of 500 total people and a limit of 10 parking passes. Once all 10 parking passes are sold, that option is no longer available, but people can still register.

An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Alcott commentedWhen registering for an event, it would be nice to be able to select (checkbox) which people will be attending by using name fields from the member database. We have a structure where a membership is a "family" and there are multiple names listed in the database under the membership. It would be nice to be able to register for an event and just check the box next to which people will be coming.

I merged another very similar thread into this one, they should be solved together – the registration to multiple events should be simple and fast if possible. There are a number of suggestions in comments on how to achieve this.
Chris Alcott supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Alcott commentedThere should be a registration type that is "Party of X". When registering for an event, we allow a single person to register for everyone in their family. Right now, the only way to do this is through the "Guests" feature. These people aren't really "guests" and it confuses our members. A more preferable way to do this would be to register a "Party of" with a number input. Whatever number is entered would count against the event limit.

How are you going to use QR codes on membership cards? Do you expect some additional functionality in WA, which will be able to read and process these codes?
An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Alcott commentedI would use them to integrate into a front-desk scanner application. We run a club and manage the membership from WA. Right now, I do the membership cards manually. I'd like to put a unique QR on each card so when we scan them at the front desk, we know who they are.

There should be a change log containing the before/after and the "who changed what and when" visible to the admin for all contact data. This could also be used to remind users "It has been X days since you last verified your contact information"
It would be useful to have a log and know what a field was before, what it is now, and who changed it.
