This is not in our priorities for now, though I understand what you mean. For now, I can suggest using quick search function – just type several letter for name and it will show the contact.

Concurrent membership is not something easy to implement - it would require fundamental redesign of how membership works in WA. However, I have couple of thoughts here that I wanted to hear your feedback on.
As I understand, there are 2 sides of the problem:
1. Collecting additional dues for services. E.g. Member is associate and board member, so you need to collect both dues.
- This can be addressed using our extra fields functionality. Maybe it's a bit clunky, but it should work. E.g. setup associate member as primary membership and add extra charge checkbox for being a board member.
- You can easily filter down any members you need with advances search by that extra field.
2. Setting correct permissions on website pages - here there's no workaround we could suggest, but adding permissions based on saved searches seems to feasable option.
Am I missing something? Will the…

Many thanks for your comments and feedback in this thread - it was super helpful for us in analysis and design of the feature.
I'm happy to announce that we're working on adding donations to compensate payment processing fees. This feature will be released later this year. Some design decisions I wanted to speak out explicitly:
1. We decided to proceed with optional donations to compensate credit card processing fees as opposed to surcharges/convenience fee.
Main reasons for this is that there are too many regulations around mandatory charges to compensate fees: it's illegal in some countries/states, there are caps on how much you could charge, etc. To avoid all of this legal complications we decided to suggest members to opt-in to compensate processing fees, as opposed to make them obligatory.
All these transactions will be recorded as donations in WA and can be later used for tax deduction.2. You…
An error occurred while saving the comment Craig Singer commentedHonestly, in 2023 it's utterly baffling that Wild Apricot doesn't offer this functionality when virtually everyone else does. And according to the people at AffiniPay, it's not their issue, because their own internal payment interface does have this option. It's up to Wild Apricot to add it at their end. THIS IS SURELY ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT, IF NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT, FEATURE CHANGE YOU FOLKS AT WILD APRICOT NEED TO MAKE. I mean, look at the number of votes. Thank you.

An error occurred while saving the comment Craig Singer commentedInstead of automatic renewals being an all-or-nothing component of membership levels, it would be much more useful if individual members could opt in or out of automatic renewal at the time they either sign up or renew.
