My members have to be able to have a PDF and or ability to print their invoices. This is a huge issue. I'm shocked that this has been an open item since 2010. Does anyone have a workaround besides printing to PDF and then emailing each individually???

This is an ongoing issue for us as well, and I'm really baffled as to why it's been an ongoing request for so long with minimal response or change.
Many of our participants have disabilities and need PDFs of their invoices and / or receipts to be able to send to third parties to access funding. Not having this option is an accessibility issue for them and a headache for admin as we're either having to write lengthy instructions on how to create a PDF via the print menu for individuals who haven't had to do this before or who struggle with technology for a range of reasons, or to manually create PDFs and email it to them. It adds significantly to our team's workload and as a small NFP, over time this adds up and takes our time and attention away from supporting our community in other ways.

Is there any update on this request? It has been wanted for almost 12 years. Other systems in the Personify family do this.

We need Wildapricot to make its invoice a PDF and allow us to customize the design. I am not worries about the non-sense of people altering the PDF; it's what companies need sometimes for their records and auditing. The fact this request has been asked for so long and not done is a shame on Wildapricot.

This is still a required and critical fix for us. Many members send invoices to their employer to pay and they need it as a PDF. Yes i know PDFs are also not that secure but what the customer wants the customer gets.....right?
Manually PDF'ing invoices is such a time wasting process!

Our members are companies, not individuals. They often cannot process an invoice embedded in an email but instead ask us to send them a pdf of the invoice. This ends up being very inefficient. Seems like this is a system maturity issue where if WA wants to expand its customer base, it needs to support typical commercial requirements like producing/sending invoices in pdf format.

Being able to download/send a PDF would be so helpful. Very time consuming to print > save as PDF for our many members who require invoices in PDF form. This is likely to be a dealbreaker when it comes time to decide whether to renew our plan.

A quick note for people who think PDFs are secure. They are just as easily changeable as emails are. In fact even easier unless the PDF is digitally signed by your organization.

PDFs would be nice to have but they are not more secure unless extra work is done to make them secure. This is not something you get for free in acrobat.

I keep getting asked to provide a PDF copy of invoices. I can do this manually by printing to PDF but it woul dbe much better if a PDF copy could be automatically created when it is emailed. Or if a PDF copy could be downloaded from the member's profile.

Coming up on 10 years for this request (derek shared this idea December 2, 2010). Hoping it's on the list of repairs soon.

This is an urgent requirement! The amount of time spent printing invoices to PDF on the request of members post renewal is getting ridiculous, almost to the point of questioning if the finance function is feasible. Most Finance software systems recognise PDF's. Wild Apricot need to issue an upgrade to comply with this as soon as possible

With an ever increasing focus on security we need the ability to auto send an invoice as a secured PDF file attachment rather being in the body of an email where it could be manipulated. Having invoiced for membership fees etc an increasing number of accounts dept will not process the invoice in the current format, delaying our payments and asking for the invoice to be re-issued in PDF format to satisfy their accounting processes

Your system sends membership renewal reminder, which is great. Why not include a PDF document of that invoice automatically? Then it saves us from having to manually go in and generate one. Much easier.

Hi. Occasionally, we have to generate invoices for members not on auto-pay. Wild Apricot's process for doing so is clunky and should be streamlined. I should be able to generate the invoice and have the option to save it as a PDF file right from the invoice menu. I should also be able to have the ability to e-mail it directly (which IS there) to a DIFFERENT e-mail than what is saved in the member details because many organizations prefer to have invoices sent to their accounting departments.

Would be good if members could download a a PDF of their invoice - in the same format as we have set in the templates

YES PLEASE!!!!!!! This would be so helpful as I have corporate members who need this option. Very time consuming for us to provide ourselves when consistently requested.

This is the one hurdle we are facing. Our members often need to print out or store properly formatted invoices for compliance issues and not being able to send a PDF invoice is incredible frustrating.

I am having an issue. Some of our clients need to be able to print a professional invoice that can then be given to their accounting department and printing the email does not suffice. Is there any way that a PDF can be attached when someone selects "invoice me" or when we are sending out manual invoices etc.

Theoretically, this module should be saving us time but now it is costing us time because we are having to login and find/print/PDF/send the invoice.

Your consideration is greatly appreciated.
