    We have started analysis for this issue, and it seems that key problem is how Wild Apricot handles level changes close to renewal date. The system is currently designed to collect the full new level amount and set renewal date according to new level renewal policy. All prepaid amounts for old levels are disposed. Moreover, since no prorating occurs, the new level might be effective only for a few days.

    As a first step, we suggest to redesign how level change is working and add prorating there:

    - Level would be changed immediately, as now - Remaining portion of old membership level payment will be applied to new level - For new levels with specific renewal date (e.g. annual levels with renewals Jan 1st) apply the pro-rating settings for new applications: - Allow member to pay only a pro-rated amount of the new level fee (e.g. six months before renewal…

    This is an ongoing issue for us as well, and I'm really baffled as to why it's been an ongoing request for so long with minimal response or change.
    Many of our participants have disabilities and need PDFs of their invoices and / or receipts to be able to send to third parties to access funding. Not having this option is an accessibility issue for them and a headache for admin as we're either having to write lengthy instructions on how to create a PDF via the print menu for individuals who haven't had to do this before or who struggle with technology for a range of reasons, or to manually create PDFs and email it to them. It adds significantly to our team's workload and as a small NFP, over time this adds up and takes our time and attention away from supporting our community in other ways.

    If a contact has a nickname or preferred name which is completely different to their first name, it would be great to be able to show that instead of their first name in informal comms, but show their official first name on invoices. Right now, there's no way to do this rather than editing for individuals. We can only use the first name field as not everyone has entered (or would enter) a nickname. Any suggestions?

    It would be very useful to be able to send the event reminder less than 24h before an event, partly so Zoom links are in participants' inboxes on the morning of the event, but also to allow us to share Discord links which have a maximum expiry of 24h. Currently, we have to set a manual reminder to manually send a second reminder on the day with the updated link each month.

    This would be incredibly useful and also help us to streamline our processes and thereby increase our accuracy and efficiency. It would be very useful to be able to enter a second email for each event (either a default second email, or a different one for each event), and for both email addresses to receive an excel spreadsheet of registered attendees and waitlisted registrants. In our case, we have a coordinator who would be the default recipient, admin support who would be the default second recipient, and a number of rotating event hosts who would be the variable third recipients. It would also be useful to nominate when the email is sent, ie 24h in advance, 1h in advance, etc.
