Our group would also like to have renewal discounts. We give our corporate members who host monthly meetings a price break on membership.

Works fine for new members just not renewals.

A fix that would work for us is if we could have membership levels that ONLY show up when renewing.

We usually do not provide a forecast for changes because it depends on a number of hard to control things.

Could we get an update on when this feature will be available? This is a very big deal for my association and I can't figure out a workaround.

This is really critical stuff for effective membership management. to be honest I really don't have a workaround (as a new buyer) to fix a reduced price or downgrade scenario...hope this gets appropriate attention soon.

Discounts management is considered as a high priority request for us, but I cannot promise you any date when we're going to do that, sorry.

PLEASE elevate this request to a high requirement for many of your customers. If your niche is "membership software" then all membership organizations could benefit from this enhancement.

1. Discount coupons for New applications -- that works -- keep this feature

2. Discount coupons for RENEWALS -- even more important to offer membership renewal incentives or discounts for certain people in the organization.

Big fan of Wild Apricot and have sent my "sister" organizations your way. This enhancement is really important!

We would support this - a discount coupon for members who are renewing to give them access to a reduced price would be perfect. We also renew for 12 months from the date of expiration rather than at a set date in the year.

It would also be useful to us to have the discoutn expire on the renewal date. Otherwise lapsed members can renew months later and benefit from the code, assuming they kept the e-mails.

We too would love to offer discount codes to renewing members. Thanks!

Since we renew members twelve months after their last renewal, our renewals are happening continually throughout the year. It would be great if we could offer an early renewal discount that expired on each member's renewal due date rather than on a fixed date that we would have to set manually for each member. Also, since we are using multi-year memberships and wish to encourage members to renew for multiple years, if we could set the value of the discount based on the membership level it would be beneficial.

This is indeed one of the top candidates for upcoming enhancements. Unfortunately it will be a while (at least until summer 2013, version 5.1).

I agree this is a huge problem for us as each Jan. we want to encourage members to renew before Feb. 1 at a discount price.

WA team .. please consider making it a top priority to add "discount codes" to the renewal process ASAP.

We have board members we give free members to. It will be nice to give them a code every year and let them renew their membership on their own. Nonthing fancy.

The lack of this a discount on a membership renewal is a serious problem for us, Please consider adding this soon as this is causing a lot of confusion and manual work for us.

I'll add my voice to chorus. Surprised and disappointed to learn that we can't use coupons on renewals. This is a big functional gap for us.
