    Allow event Macro "Invoice Details URL" to appear in manual emails.

    I use this macro to prompt "pending" event attendees via the Events email pending tool, but cannot use it to later prompt non-paying registrants. This would be very helpful.

  2. Make a template's Reply-to sticky

    Make a template's Reply-to sticky. It keeps reverting to my own. Sooner or later I'm going to forget to change it, or in changing it, I'll make a mistake. However, it should still be easy to change the Reply-to (e.g., not all events have the same person in charge), and maybe there's a way for the system to alert the user that the reply-to is their own personal email address (which an organization may not want to have associated with emails in any case.)

  3. Provide a 'subscribe to our newsletter' at the same time new contacts enter their email address on the sign up page.

    Rather than log in and visit a subscription gadget, the new contact can check a box right after they enter their email address. This would be ideal. Very few new contacts will log in and search for the 'subscribe to our newsletter' gadget elsewhere on the website.

  4. Add a flowchart for emails

    It's hard for me to absorb all the choices in text paragraphs. A flowchart showing what emails are sent when on the Help website would be great!

  5. allow application of templates without erasing the text

    Currently, when I apply a new template to existing email, the entire content of the email is erased. Also if I update a template centrally - say for a footer change - it does not get applied to all the emails using that template. I have to go and edit all the email templates to propogate that simple footer change. Please improve the way you design/apply.adopt templates to membership/event/finance emails.

  6. Invoice emails

    When sending an invoice email from finances, invoice, allow email address to populate from the database. I often forward invoices to the club treasurers, who are members, for payments for their club's member.i also like to copy them to others where appropriate.

  7. Members select volume of email updates they recieve

    Allow members to select the level of content sent to them via e-mail. For example...

    1) A lot of info, everytime something new is posted on the website.
    2) Certain key info - need multiple selections here too
    3) Very little info each year

  8. More opt-out/opt-in choices on event announcements

    Currently, contacts have three choices on e-mail delivery: event announcement, e-mail blasts, and workflow e-mails. I send all three event announcements so that I can send an early one, mid-range in time, and last reminder. However, some of our members wish they could cut back on these and only get the first one. That's fine with me but I don't see any way to do this. Event announcements are a subscribe/unsubscribe choice. It would be great if we could have a subcategory of this where we could indicate which event announcements a person signs up for. Then, I could just…

  9. Wording Clarification on Email Lists

    This is a tiny change and won't gather many votes. But it's easy and would smooth the learning curve for new admins.

    In the Compose your email screen, change the wording of the button from "Add contact list" to "Add saved search or subscription list". Or abbreviate to "Add search or subscription".

  10. Create the option of indicating the distribution list in an email blast

    It would be handy to have the option to indicate on an email blast who the email was sent to in total. eg if the email was sent to all Committee Members. At the moment, members receive an email without know who else is on the distribution list for that particular email.

  11. Ability to forward FYI e-mails to membership

    I really love how easy Wild Apricot makes it to send out e-blasts to members or contacts, and we use it for club announcements and newsletters. However, I routinely run into a problem with trying to forward e-mails to our distribution lists.

    Our organization often gets announcements from other groups advertising trainings and workshops that we would like to let our members know about. The problem is the only way I can figure out to send this information to our membership is to log into our account and set up an e-mail from the system, and this can be a…

  12. Email notice distribution

    We would like to be able to specify individual members (rather than administrative roles) to receive specific system-generated emails (rather than ALL emails for membership, or ALL emails for events).

    The system generates a lot of emails. For instance, there are initiation emails for membership sign-up and renewal; completion emails for membership sign-up and renewal; reminder emails for memberships that are expiring or have lapsed; and so on for events.

  13. Add ability to apply default email change to selected membership types

    Current behavior:
    Updating "Default" Emails is an all-or-nothing prospect. You can apply the updates to none of the existing membership types or all of them.

    Desired behavior:
    Allow option to apply changes to multiple selected membership types (Most likely via checkbox selection.)

    Scenario:
    I have five membership types, and I need to change the membership renewal email in three of those membership levels. As the system currently stands, I have to customize the email at each of the three membership level setup screens.   14. Please make the email user interface consistent on all pages where one can compose and send an email

    The email interface is inconsistent on some pages. All pages that have the ability to compose and send an email should have exactly the same interface. They should all provide the ability to use the same editor, use macros, and provide the ability to test, save, and send the email.

    This is currently not the case.For example, in the Finances area, within an invoice, you have the ability to create an email to send to the member but this page has only a "Send email" and "Cancel" button. There is no "Preview and send", "Test-email", of "Save and close" (create…

  16. Unsubscribe from emails without being prompted to login

    We have just started using Wild Apricot for our organisation's website, CRM database, and email newsletters. We don't currently have any 'member exclusive' content for members to see when they log in to the system, so we don't want them to be able to log in as we think this would be pointless and confusing until we've properly set that side of things up. One problem we've come across is email unsubscribes - when members unsubscribe from emails they're taken to a system page that lets them login/change password etc. Is there a way to get rid of the login…

  18. Editing existing or creating new macros for invoice template

    Hello,
    I need to create or edit an invoice macro in Wild Apricot and am unable to do so. I've searched in the application as well as online for how to do this, with no solutions that I can see. It is not user-friendly to not allow editing of existing or adding new macros.

  19. Admin notification for Stop Recurring Payments action by member

    Create an automated administrator notification triggered when a member stops recurring payments.

    Our member managers do not see this until the paid membership period is over and it may be too late to reach out to the member to see if any problems need to be resolved.
