I merged another very similar thread into this one, they should be solved together – the registration to multiple events should be simple and fast if possible. There are a number of suggestions in comments on how to achieve this.

An error occurred while saving the comment Elizabeth Bass Webmaster commentedI think you can already set up the event to do what you are looking for.
Make sure when you create the event that you list the specific leader as the event organizer, and check the box to "Copy emails according to email routing settings" and make sure that your event manager is listed on the "Routing of system emails" page in the "Event-related" section.

WORKAROUND: it is possible to set different colors using custom javascript. See section “Color coding events using event tags” at

We’re looking into this request in much broader context – we want to simplify overall management of contacts, lists, saved searches. Saved search should be perceived as smart lists and provide quick access to various contact and member groups.

I agree. I wish that the default was to have the person who is currently logged in and creating the event as the Event Organizer. As webmaster for my organization, I never want to be listed as the Event Organizer for any events, but that is the default, so I have to make sure that any event that is created is updated to whoever created it.
