combine event and member registration
We need to combine an event (our annual conference) with membership application on the same registration page. In other words, as people sign up for the conference, they can click a box to become a member. Part of their $95 fee will be applied to conference registration and part to annual membership. Is that possible?

My organization needs event registration and membership in one form. This would be useful and is common in so many other CRMs. I’m surprised that WA doesn’t have this already.

I have a client who has a free membership for 'Friends' of the organisation and they want all event registrants to be members.
We currently include a note with link to the 'Join Us' page at the top of event listings/calendars so a single event/member application would be ideal.

Coming off yet another annual convention, we are still getting members complaining of having to register with 2 separate forms. People must be a member of our organization or renew their membership in order to be current to attend. With a menbership software such as this that also registers events, I'm STILL puzzled as to why we can't have the option of combining them and why it hasn't been a priority to figure out how. No with the price increase, I may be searching for a different software.

This would be a real improvement to the membership experience whilst at the same time improving the efficiency of our processes managed by our voluntary team organising the event

Ron, this is a wislist forum - he our customers share what they want to change in Wild Apricot to work better or address their needs in future. We cannot really implement suggestions here right away, and sometimes even ever. So far, event registration and membership application are 2 separate processes. You idea does make sense, but we cannot make happen right away.

Nobody has replied to this. We have since figured out a way to do this. We'll register folks and then upload the cvs to the membership. We have 45 years of history of offering membership with annual conference registration and via the upload to the membership directory in Wild Apricot, this will continue to work. If not, let me know asap.
