We have started analysis for this issue, and it seems that key problem is how Wild Apricot handles level changes close to renewal date. The system is currently designed to collect the full new level amount and set renewal date according to new level renewal policy. All prepaid amounts for old levels are disposed. Moreover, since no prorating occurs, the new level might be effective only for a few days.
As a first step, we suggest to redesign how level change is working and add prorating there:
- Level would be changed immediately, as now - Remaining portion of old membership level payment will be applied to new level - For new levels with specific renewal date (e.g. annual levels with renewals Jan 1st) apply the pro-rating settings for new applications: - Allow member to pay only a pro-rated amount of the new level fee (e.g. six months before renewal…brendastreed supported this idea ·

Currently when a new person wants to sign up for a Bundle membership, they fill out a form that only allows them to enter their own personal information as a "Family" membership. They then have to go back into their new Profile and enter all the other people that should be included in their membership.
Why not have a question on a Bundle membership form asking the number of additional family members, and then generate on page the forms needed for those people? If they request more than the number allowed by the membership policy, you would post an onscreen message telling them the limit.
I did not see this idea anywhere in your developers summary at the top of the page, so I hope it's not duplicative.

This is a similar idea to allowing people to pay for others' memberships

I think it is turned off if the user selects "Remember Me" when logging in.

I think if the user selects "Remember Me" when logging in, the CAPTCHA is not activated the next time they log in.

Password expiration only affects administrators of accounts, not members.
We will reconsider this once we implement alternative authentication methods (e.g. email/phone validation)

When you institute alternative authentication methods, please make sure you consider the demographic population of elderly users!

Agree with the comments, give us settings to decide the password strenght requirements.
Currently when a new person wants to sign up for a Bundle membership, they fill out a form that only allows them to enter their own personal information as a "Family" membership. They then have to go back into their new Profile and enter all the other people that should be included in their membership. This cause a lot of confusion for people, and we end up with families signing up for Single memberships instead of the Family membership! The inability to enter bundle members when creating a Bundle membership is a total negative for gaining new members and also retaining them.
Why not have a question on a Bundle membership form asking the number of additional family members, and then generate on page the forms needed for those people? If they request more than the number allowed by the membership policy, you would post an onscreen message telling them the limit.
