An error occurred while saving the comment Currently when a new person wants to sign up for a Bundle membership, they fill out a form that only allows them to enter their own personal information as a "Family" membership. They then have to go back into their new Profile and enter all the other people that should be included in their membership. This cause a lot of confusion for people, and we end up with families signing up for Single memberships instead of the Family membership! The inability to enter bundle members when creating a Bundle membership is a total negative for gaining new members and also retaining them.
Why not have a question on a Bundle membership form asking the number of additional family members, and then generate on page the forms needed for those people? If they request more than the number allowed by the membership policy, you would post an onscreen message telling them the limit.

We have started analysis for this issue, and it seems that key problem is how Wild Apricot handles level changes close to renewal date. The system is currently designed to collect the full new level amount and set renewal date according to new level renewal policy. All prepaid amounts for old levels are disposed. Moreover, since no prorating occurs, the new level might be effective only for a few days.
As a first step, we suggest to redesign how level change is working and add prorating there:
- Level would be changed immediately, as now - Remaining portion of old membership level payment will be applied to new level - For new levels with specific renewal date (e.g. annual levels with renewals Jan 1st) apply the pro-rating settings for new applications: - Allow member to pay only a pro-rated amount of the new level fee (e.g. six months before renewal… -

Many thanks for your comments and feedback in this thread - it was super helpful for us in analysis and design of the feature.
I'm happy to announce that we're working on adding donations to compensate payment processing fees. This feature will be released later this year.Some design decisions I wanted to speak out explicitly:
1. We decided to proceed with optional donations to compensate credit card processing fees as opposed to surcharges/convenience fee.
Main reasons for this is that there are too many regulations around mandatory charges to compensate fees: it's illegal in some countries/states, there are caps on how much you could charge, etc. To avoid all of this legal complications we decided to suggest members to opt-in to compensate processing fees, as opposed to make them obligatory.
All these transactions will be recorded as donations in WA and can be later used for tax deduction.2. You…

Event cancellation - If the entire Event needs to be cancelled, WA should cancel the registration for all registrants, and send the cancellation email to everyone.
In the current version of software, if we have 100 people signed up, and need to cancel the event for everyone, an admin has to MANUALLY CANCEL them one by one, and no automated email goes out. (NOTE: The Event cancellation email in the templates only is sent if the Registrant cancels).
This is really not acceptable for software whose main purpose is to support Membership and Events. (This is why you have only developed Forms for Members and Events, anything else we have to create).
There should be a program to allow the Admin to cancel the event with one button, and have a cancel email sent.
