moderated or two step event registration
We'd like to be able to create moderated or two step registration. So someone could register for an event, then a moderator can approve the registration, then the attendee can pay.
Why? For example, if the event includes use of equipment (in our case kayaks), then the moderator can ensure that the equipment is available, ensure the user is approved for using that equipment and reserve the equipment. Then approve the registration so the attendee can pay.4 votes -
Files on Event Details
I would like to be able to add files to the Event Details tab. I could then set up our board meetings as events and include agenda, presentations, and minutes on the event, which then could be seen by board members both before and after the meeting.
I have tried to do this with modifications to the Registration Form, but this isn't a workable approach.

Customize calendar entry for event
Please allow the calendar file from the "Add to my calendar" button to be customized, so that details such as a video conference link and other useful information will appear in the calendar entry. At present, custom information can only be included in the confirmation and reminder emails, but emails can get lost before the event. It's much more useful to have event details right in the calendar entry.
Thanks.

Enable Registration through entire event, do not disable until END of event.
With the pandemic we have moved all of our events to Virtual and each event requires a Zoom link, which is provided upon registration. This works very well until the event has started. The issue for us is that registration is automatically disabled by Wild Apricot at the start of each event. That means that someone who would like to register during the event/after the start time is not able to receive the Zoom link through the normal registration confirmation. I am asking you to consider disabling registration at the END of the scheduled event instead of at the beginning.…

Automatically send email to manually created waitlist registrant
There doesn't seem to be a way to send the default 'new waitlist registration' email someone who has been added to the waitlist manually. It is sent automatically if they register and the event is full but if I add them manually it doesn't send. The 'Send Email' links on the waitlist page only link to a blank email or template but both options remove the link to the event so it's impossible to create an email using any event merge fields.

Show event attendance in public registration details
When someone tries to print out their event attendance from their profile, the Checked in mark does not show up. Is that a feature that could be added? Our members can use this report for reporting continuing education hours.

Cancel by Attendee is Confusing
We host many small group no-fee events and need attendees to be able to cancel themselves but the process of cancelling causes confusion. When they go to My Event Registrations they see a list of events. To see the Cancel button then need to click on an event but not on the event title. Many of them click on the event title and see the event listing. Also having the contact Admin to make changes banner means they do not realise they can cancel themselves. Please can you find a way to make this process easier and less prone to…

Selecting roommates during registration
We do multiple Ski Tours each year. Each registrant registers and selects the room type and roommate configuration. ie: Double, triple etc up to seven roommates( three bedroom units).
1) During our registrations for events, we request whom the registrant would like to share a hotel room with. This in turn allows us to match up persons with the rooms and discover how many rooms are actually required for our trips/tours.
Is there a way to have a lookup table inserted or access to the membership list at that time so they could just select their roommate/s from the list.…2 votes -

Automatically archive Primary Registrants from the Contacts list after an Event
When an Event has taken place, there should be a system for Archiving any Contacts who were created from non-Members who signed up for public events. As I understand it, a Contact entry is automatically created, to enable the database to operate.
I do not find it acceptable that there is no way to automate the Archiving of these contacts. I have been advised to do a manual process of searching for these Contacts, exporting them, manipulating the spreadsheet and re-importing the data. An Event should be programmable such that Contacts can be given an expiry date, after which their…

Edit Mode for tabs in EVENTS
Editing on the Registration types & settings AND Emails tabs in events is confusing. I click on EDIT (because I'm trained to do that to edit other tabs) but that doesn't allow me to edit in those tabs. An error message would be nice. Had to contact support.

There needs to be a way I can get stats from my website on the number of events each member has attended per year
there is currently no easy way I can get stats from my WA website on the number of events each member has attended per year. I would like to be able to get a report with easy access to this info.

virtual show
We would like to be able to host a virtual art show with judging. Is this a possibility? Because of the Covid restrictions, our art club cannot have an art show. But if we could have the art show online that would be a big benefit to our membership. We would need for the membership to upload the art and have a title, size, medium, and division.

Link sold out events to stopping event announcements
When an event has a limit on the number that may attend, why can't WA automatically stop sending event announcements for the event? There are times when there is a run on an event and it sells out sooner than expected. When that happens, I have to go in and cancel the prescheduled announcements for the event. When I forget or don't realize the event is sold out and another announcement is issued to our membership, I receive flak because the event is sold out. Can't there be some link between sold out events and stopping announcements?
Thanks,

list registration type when reviewing people registered for an event from the public side
Hello, we had an event that we had two separate types of registrants. In this example we had Contestants and Judges....as an admin I had to run a report to identify the different registrations and send the report to the people running the event.
It would be great to not have to run the report and be able to see the different types from viewing the registrations on the public site.3 votes -
Automatically send email to waitlist when registration becomes available
You have all this wait list capability, but did not implement an option to automatically send an email to all the entries on the wait list when a cancellation occurs that drops the registration limit below max

allow automatic emails for recurring events
Add the ability to automatically send an email announcement for recurring events. Makes life SO MUCH easier to remind members to attend a recurring (every other week) member meeting without having to manually create an email to do it. Currently done on non-recurring events and as you store all the recurring dates and allow scheduling of emails now in terms of days before event it should be a relatively easy task to add this functionality. We do not always require registrations for these events either as most via ZOOM so please no restrictions in this regard requiring registrations for this…

Scheduling reminder in hours, not days, before the event
It would be very helpful if the reminder for the event could be scheduled in smaller increments than in days (for example an hour before the meeting).
Discussion:
1. The dialogue for scheduling actually allows this if one enters the decimal number. Unfortunately, the dialogue window then does not accept the data and refuses to "save".
2. This feature (i.e. scheduling prior to the event in increments smaller than entire days) is of a particular value now, when the meetings are often virtual. This way, the latest update with the link would add comfort to participants as they would receive…97 votes
