Strongly agree, some kind of import/export to QBOnline would be helpful

We would like to purchase WA, but the lack of integration with QuickBooks Online is disappointing. Any details from WA on when this integration could happen?

Are there any updates on the integration of Quickbooks online? It is frustrating to not have this integration to the point of researching other options for my membership management as I cannot use WA fully without this integration.

To the Canadian Association of Science Centres, a connection between WA and Quickbooks Online is critical to improving our efficiency (and sanity!) One of the reasons we chose WA was because it integrated with Quickbooks - I didn't realize that it didn't also include QBO. Thanks for your consideration!

I'd like to add my support for getting more detail on my transactions into QBO. Invoice details would be a big help, as then I can break down my revenues into categories, such as donations, event fees and member renewals.

I'm the treasurer of a gymnastics club that dabbles in membership and event admin too - still deciding whether to use WA, so far i'm pretty impressed with most of the features, but disappointed that the finance functionality is miles behind the rest of it.

The main problem us treasurers/accounts folk have is making sure the financial info coming out of WA has integrity (ie 100% complete and accurate all the time), and that it can be imported into an accounting package reliably and automatically. If not, it creates hours and hours of extra work duplicating data, and reconciling the two systems.

At the moment, WA finance function is masquerading as an alternative to a sales ledger, but it is too basic and lacks the controls necessary to make it reliable (eg you can delete invoices and payments anytime, you can't close off periods, invoice and receipt batches can't be identified easily for reconciliation to bank accounts, tax compliance etc). It maybe ok for v small organisations, but if like us they're growing quite fast with hundreds of monthly transactions, they'll feel the limitations quickly.

WA really needs to look into partnering Quickbooks, Sage or Xero for a seamless and reliable solution - it would be such a shame not to make the system complete in this way.

Our treasurer uses quickbooks on-line. Currently she has to go into paypal and transfer monies received from wild apricot to our bank account. When she uses quickbooks she doesn't have an easy way to know what part of the monies transferred were from membership renewals, events, or donations. There needs to be an easy way to link everything. In addition we run a farmers market. I would like to be able to group all of these vendors and bill them weekly via wild apricot. Please advise. I certainly agree with the comments posted here regarding QB Online integration with WA. As our non-profit grows, having a more seamless merging of financial information would be most beneficial. I hope WA will strongly consider developing this feature for its clients.

Our chapters would be interested as well.

The California Resource Recovery Association is also interested in development of this feature. QuickBooks Online is also the best choice for our non-profit organization and we are not in a position to change our QB practices. We have been very happy with WildApricot, but as our organization grows, the inability to efficiently and correctly transfer data between QBO and WA may present a challenge to us.

The Society of Indiana Archivists is really interested in the development of this feature, too. We do not have a physical headquarters or office, so using QuickBooks Online makes sense for us. And it is only because of our investment in WildApricot that we are interested in making the transition to QuickBooks....

Hey Apricots, any update on this now that your version 5 work is deploying? This is the biggest pain point in our use of Wild Apricot: the constant hassle with QuickBooks. 100% synchronization with QB would be huge for us. I am routinely have to defend our use of WA to our organization because of the lack of really solid synchronization with QB Online.

We request an enhancement that integrates Wild Apricot (WA) with QuickBooks Online (QBO). The top priority is providing customer/membership data synchronization between the two systems. If a member is added to WA they would appear in QBO and visa versa. The customer data needs to stay in synch, including keeping their contact (phone, email and mailing addresses) synchronized.

Secondly, we'd like to see the invoices and payments that are generated in WA be transferred to QBO.

Evgeny, for on premises QuickBooks installations, it would be beneficial to move from the obsolete IFF import to using the improved QuickBooks WebConnector. A solid effort integrating into QuickBooks this way would be a big improvement.

The future is QuickBooks online though. Intuit has a rich API and using this to keep QuickBooks and Wild Apricot fully in sync would be a huge plus for your many mutual customers. See https://developer.intuit.com for all the abilities that Intuit offers...

Lori, I missed that you were speaking initially about QB Online, that explains everything - it does not support IIF files importing. Thanks for sharing your comments.

I was surprised to discover that a (rather expensive) third-party app is required to import the IFF file for Quickbooks Online. It's my own fault for not reading more thoroughly, but I thought the invoices generated by Wild Apricot could be imported into Quickbooks Online (like the stand-alone app) and that the payments would also be appropriately applied with an import to Quickbooks.

I recently setup Wild Apricot to integrate with PayPal to allow my non-profit group to pay their membership fees online. In addition, we hope to provide an option to purchase tickets to events online using WA with PayPal.

The option to import these transactions into QuickBooks would be a great time-saver for our treasurer. I read the information about "Transaction Pro Importer" but frankly 24.99 per month (their fee) is cost prohibitive for the size of our organization (as it stands now, WA is a big chunk of our operating budget). Perhaps your developers create a custom tool to allow for import to Quickbooks online? The requirements are pretty basic: create QB records for invoices created in WA and then records the payments that are applied in WA.

As it stands now, having the invoices sent to members via Wild Apricot is not really going to save our treasurer any time since she is (apparently) going to be required to manually create them using QB Online.
