Hello everyone,
I've been working on this idea for a while, and most of you have described the same trap. You need a volunteer to run one or several events, and the only way to let them is to hand over your whole contact database and your finances. But there are different events and different needs. So I'd like to test the shape with you before we build it.
The idea is to maintain the current role of Event Manager, which currently grants access to all events. However, you can also limit this access and assign the person to specific events by choosing from one of three levels of access:
- Check-in assistant - welcome people at the door, handle walk-ins. Sees their assigned events and who's registered. Checks people in, signs up whoever turns up, takes payment at the door. Cannot edit the event or its registrations.
- Registration manager -…

Hello everyone!
Seeing your activity on this thread we would like to present you with three new templates using the third-party app called “Integromat”. They could help you to:
- Copy an event with registrants
- Export registrations into a Google sheet
- Import registrations from a Google sheetThese need a short one-time setup and then you’ll be able to do the actions above in just a few clicks!
For more info see our blog: https://www.wildapricot.com/blogs/newsblog/2019/04/30/event-registration-integromat
We absolutely understand this is not a solution but more of a workaround for this request, so we won’t close this thread. But feel free to share your thoughts about these templates as well!
Please note, these workflows have some limitations and might not suit everybody. But we hope they will make your life a bit easier.

I merged another very similar thread into this one, they should be solved together – the registration to multiple events should be simple and fast if possible. There are a number of suggestions in comments on how to achieve this.

We are considering using WA for our gymnastics club, but the limitations in the child/family memberships is a major stumbling block. Our issues are very similar to Ian from the swimming club in NZ:
Our gymnasts are predominantly <16 and a parent deals with their affairs. Siblings can have different membership levels depending on how much they train (from 1 hr/wk to 20 hrs/wk). Parents are also members. The bundling function requires that members in the same bundle have the same membership level, so that method of grouping families doesn't work for club like ours.
We need some way of having one head member (and login) for each family and linking to each of the children and spouse, but the children and spouse being members in their own right too. The data fields for the children/ spouse could then be limited to avoid duplication of address, telephone numbers etc.
From a parent's point of view, the ability to register and pay for oneself and all my children under one login is pretty fundamental.
Having been involved in administering a number of sports clubs with junior members, I think this will be a common issue for a lot of clubs.
