    You guys really need to work on the speed of your website with Membership fees going up. I am constantly having issues and I know it is not on my end because I have enough power to stream videos and movies.

  7. Why do you support the NRA?

    Why do you still choose to offer discounts through the NRA, via membership? It seems that in light of the current environment here in the U.S. you would not want to be associated with such a hate group. Especially being a tech company. This support does not seem to fit the vast majority of you client's opinions.

  8. Seeing renewals

    When members are renewing, we are not seeing it in our summary. So, we are missing sending them the manual email to them. What is the best way to see the renewals?

  9. updated for Membership cards - Admin level

    On the Member Cards:
    1 - Allow templates to be customized (I want to get our logo and the member image in there - just not in the same box)
    2 - Allow me to place an image as a water mark behind all other text\images
    3 - allow admins to view/print all members contact cards to hand out at meetings

  10. Bambora Canadian Payment Gateway

    The problem with Stripe is that they take 7 days to transfer payments over, and others also hold on to your funds for a few days.

    This is a considerable delay, and US based suppliers also charge extra for Canadians who hold a USD account to take USD $ Credit card payments.

    This is not ideal for Canadian clients (who are working with Canadian suppliers like Wild Apricot) whereby Bambora is Canadian based, and I believe provides a better set up for Canadians…..US based clients may also benefit as the dollar exchange rate is in their fvour working with Canadian…

    Thank you for posting and sharing your feedback with us.

    Adding a new gateway doesn’t align with our current focus for the product. Supporting each payment systems takes time and resources away from our development and support teams to provide the better, more reliable service.

    Need to have a reset on the most active members on the dashboard. Without it this info is useless.

  12. Ability to remove or turnoff Preheader from Emails

    It appears that we either will have both a header and a pre-header in email templates or neither. I wish that we had the capability to remove a pre-header or prevent it from displaying in the emails.

    Right now, all I can do is leave it blank, but it still displays as two lines of empty space in my emails.

    Hi Kevin and DeeDee,

    I’m archiving this thread because pre-header area is a simply the very same content area as the one below. The only difference is the content (and the transparent background.

    The padding or margin settings might be the reason for a greater gap than you expect it to be. There is a capability to minimize that area. The proposed actions would be:
    - Remove text or other objects from the pre-header area
    - Set margin and padding settings to 0 (these settings can be found on the left panel while the area is active, clicked on)

  14. Member Registrations - Don't Allow Name Changes

    We set up a free event for Members Only with the option to add a non-member guest for an additional $5. The system allowed the member to change the name of the person registering for the event to a non-member! We would have also liked to limit the number of guests to a specified number - e.g., "1" so they don't bring their entire clan with them to say a BBQ.

  15. Subscription signup

    We would like to make two different contact forms, one for newsletter subscriptions that only asks for name and email and can be added as a widget to our Wordpress home page, and another for class signups that asks for address, phone, etc. Currently the only option is to use the same fields for both.

  16. Ability to switch membership level more easily

    Two suggestions for making it easier for members to switch from one membership level to another, in our case from an annual membership (renewal required each year) to a sustaining membership (recurring payment of dues authorized):

    First, I would like to see a link in the INVOICE sent for renewal/dues payment to include a link for switching to a different membership level, something that would trigger a new invoice to reflect the change and void the old invoice.. As it is now, when a member gets an invoice, it would take a few extra steps to go to his/her profile…

    Have a "How To Register/Help" tab or link containing step-by-step directions on successfully registering, paying (PayPal, credit card, check), & obtaining a payment receipt for the seminar/event listed on the Wild Apricot website.

    We have our help.wildapricot.com for these purpose. The rest is up to particular customer of Wild Apricot – the directions, how to describe them, pics and text to use – are very contextual. You can create a special web page on your Wild Apricot web site describing the process and then providing link to the page on even details and registration page.
