Newsletter
Is it a legal requirement to have a mailing address (Canada Post) on the footer of a newsletter?
1 voteIt is according to https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/can-spam-act-compliance-guide-business – see #4 “Tell recipients where you’re located”

fix paypal to WA issues
We no longer will be running the PayPal reoccurring payment method. WA offered no support for co-ordination problems here and chose to deflect the problem to Paypal.
1 voteWe fix when we know issues are on our side. But there is nothing we can do if they are on PayPal side.
Very soon (beginning of March), we will be introducing our own Payment Processor and I recommend switching to it – Wild Apricot will be covering all the issues.

Bambora Canadian Payment Gateway
The problem with Stripe is that they take 7 days to transfer payments over, and others also hold on to your funds for a few days.
This is a considerable delay, and US based suppliers also charge extra for Canadians who hold a USD account to take USD $ Credit card payments.
This is not ideal for Canadian clients (who are working with Canadian suppliers like Wild Apricot) whereby Bambora is Canadian based, and I believe provides a better set up for Canadians…..US based clients may also benefit as the dollar exchange rate is in their fvour working with Canadian…
2 votesThank you for posting and sharing your feedback with us.
Adding a new gateway doesn’t align with our current focus for the product. Supporting each payment systems takes time and resources away from our development and support teams to provide the better, more reliable service.
For our Canadian customers, we have our own payment solution Wild Apricot payments. https://gethelp.wildapricot.com/en/articles/1430
We are going to archive the idea, but please, continue to share your feedback!

Link to wishlist on admin view
I had to contact support just to get a link to the wishlist. This is so silly. It should be in front of us so that we would be encouraged to add new ideas.
1 voteYou can access Wishlist from within admin UI of Wild Apricot – the icon in the top right corner called “Feedback”. It is also available from Contact Us page on the main website.

Search function for software features
Add search funnction for Wild Apricot features on both the main view and Academy.
For example... I am tryinging to determine if Wild Apricot contains functionality for conduction Member Surveys and there is no way fro me to search for "surveys", so I have to dig in every page to see if there is anything.1 voteYou can use our help site for this – https://gethelp.wildapricot.com/ – which is available from within the system. Also, our wishlist forum – https://forums.wildapricot.com/ – contains suggestions for missing features and if you find something there, then we do not have it (hence the “Wishlist”).
Beyond these two, I do not see that we are going to add something else. -
GDPR Subject Access Requests (SAR)
Could WildApricot team develop a particular gadget or template page for Subject Access Requests?
This would assist to meet compliance of Data Controllers with EU GDPR from 25th May 2018.In the meantime I will look at creating a member only page where all features of GDPR could be captured and members decide to opt in or out for each of them, as well as submitting a SAR.
1 voteWill use GDPR thread for further discussion and commenting https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/8827921

We are a small group who use Wild Apricot to manage bookings etc. We do not want to spnd hours at the computer with fancy new ways of doing
a price ike of 25% is very large for a small organisation suuch as ours.
1 voteThank you for sharing and sorry to hear this. We will suggest small account for $25 for small organizations (up to 100 contacts) starting from April 3rd and we will also suggest 2 year pre-payment option with 15% discount.
I’ll have to close your post, thous – the Wishlist forum is for new features proposals, discussing price is not part of the forum.

Ability to use Font Awesome in email template editor
Just spent a ton of time making social media image icons for an email template when I could have done everything in about 5 minutes with Font Awesome. I don't understand why the email editor doesn't support Font Awesome when the website editor does.

Billing for emails
Since we were informed of new billing for Wild Apricot and adding new features, I have seen a lot of confusion on Facebook about increased fees for emails. Unless I am mistaken there is a correlation between the amount of members and fees, but not the amount of emails. Which is correct? I think the new owners of Wild Apricot should send a new email explaining the fees, as there are a lot of complaints circulating on social media regarding fee increases.
1 voteWe do not bill for emails, our price is very simple and limits only total number of contacts in database.

increased cost
New price point without increasing membership thresholds is a non starter for our small organization. Under the previous price structure our organization was just barely beginning to "break even" on the cost of having Wild Apricot. At least I received the notification before we've adopted our annual budget and before we'd put all our eggs in the Wild Ass Apricot basket. As a result of the restrictive price schedule combined with the new increased membership fee, migrating away from Wild Apricot is becoming a real possibility for our organization.
1 voteI understand you frustration and very sorry to hear this, but I have to archive your feedback as the Wishlist forum is for different purpose – to post feature ideas and collect feedback on them.

Revising bundle membership functionality
About a year ago we have created functionality which was originally called 'Group membership' and later has been renamed into 'Bundle membership' (See http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Membership+bundles ). Our goal behind this functionality was to make it easy to deal with multi-person memberships (typically sold as a package, a 'bundle'):
* corporate membership
* sports team
* family/householdIn a nutshell, for a given membership level you specify that it is a 'Bundle' (limited to NN members per bundle or unlimited). Person applying for membership becomes administrator and can later add members to his bundle at no additional charge.
It sounds like this…
154 votesThis suggestion has accumulated many votes over a year and is on of top 3 in “Members” category, so this year we started the analysis of it.
During analysis, we’ve processed all the comments here. And we concluded that while all of them are related to bundle membership problem, there are different cases. We know that we cannot address all the cases at once, we need to prioritize.
So, we have classified the comments and found either existing topics in the Wishlist or created new ones. Here is the full list of the topics that cover in full all the comments provided here:

Override default settings
"Bugs" I have encountered in using Wild Apricot so far include:
* inability to add contact/member that does not use email
* inability to add contact/members that share a common administrator1 voteAdministrator of the system can add contacts without specifying an email;
The second part is not clear – if it is about bundles, then we have it; if this is something else, please share more.
Also, it is hard to manage suggestions that combine many things together. Our practice shows that they do not have any impact on system development so we prefer to close them and leave only suggestions that a focused on specific idea or problem. -
Billing/Accounting for Members?
What's the best way for automating billing (and hopefully accounting) for all your registered members? The stuff here doesn't do everything, do you guys export into a different program?
1 voteThe wishlist forum is not for this type of discussion – it is for ideas on how to improve Wild Apricot software.
Please use our Facebook group – https://www.facebook.com/groups/WildApricotTribe/ or contact our Support at https://www.wildapricot.com/contact-us -
Pricing model that excludes content & website.
There should be a pricing model that excludes content and website. I simply want an account that handles the memberships. This makes more sense for what I want to accomplish and it should be significantly less expensive. Please consider this.
1 voteWhile I understand your position, this is not something we’re planning to do in the nearest and mid future.

Form Customization
More customization in online form building and more of a breakdown in reminder email timelines (i.e. remind someone at 395 days of expiration).
1 voteMiles, we do not keep suggestions with mixed ideas in them – too complicated to followup and close. I added your vote to couple existing suggestions and closing this one.

Ability for a commenter in the Wishlist to edit their comments.
I run most comments through a spell checker and even Grammarly, but new last-minute thoughts occur, a too-long comment must be edited, and even just through oversight, mistakes happen. Sometimes the results are confusing, or I think of a better or shorter way to say it. But large error or small, it's always embarrassing. And why make life hard for readers?
1 voteThe software we’re using for Wishlist – UserVoice – does not allow to edit comments to keep integrity of comments exchange. But they allow to delete one comments – so you can copy it, delete and then comment again.

File classification members
I'm new to wildapricot and I do not know wildapricot can classify the object? For example I want to divide the Member object type into different files and the members of the set may also be in the same file by intersection
1 voteTom, the Wishlist forum is not designed for questions like this – it is for new new ideas to evolve the software. Please, contact out Support – see https://www.wildapricot.com/contact-us – and they will answer your questions.
