My assumption is that you also supply all these information in "Event registration confirmed". So, if you send the reminder 2 days before and a person registers after this, it means basically 1-2 days before the even - what is the purpose for having a reminder email, while "Event registration confirmed" is the reminder on its own?

This by (old) design, but I understand and agree with your point. But for now we're going to keep it the way it is, while we're focusing on other things - top voted suggestions.
You can have a membership level specifically for sponsors - and then have special event registration type (free) for members on this level. Why doesn't it work for you? Please, share your point of view on this, this will help us to understand better.

This can be done with Advance search, but I assume that you need it to work in simple keyword search, correct?

Current thread is more of a bigger problem which may require a number of different changes in the system to properly accommodate family memberships, like group renewals, event registrations, etc.
No, not really - decisions tree are not possible. We will consider this point when we will be working on family bundles.
For now the only thing you can use are bundles functionality, but they have their limits and will not be able to achieve all you described.
This is one of top priority issues in our plans, but it's also hard to analyze and develop. For now we have no progress, but all your comments will help us to create a proper solution after all.

do you mean that each bundle member in your case has a different membership?
Frankly, there is quite a low chance of introducing this plan. The difference between these 2 plans is $30, which is $360 a year and with 10% discount for annual payments its $324 a year. Not much.
Good idea, thanks for sharing. I would say that we here, at Wild Apricot, have to re-thing fields customization logic - e..g create v2. But this is not something we're going to do soon, this year we're focusing on several very specific top voted items.

Hi Christina, why would you need that? Currently, Wild Apricot sends an email notification to admin when a new member applies. Why is not this enough? What is it you want to do with a popup notification?

We're not putting it on back burner, just delayed a little. I think we will start working on it Q1 next year.
The design we created works simpler: email reply posts a comment (or event a new topic) into a forum and then each participant is notified according to their notification preferences on the forum.
No need to pay extra, all our system updates are free for paying customers.

Yes, it was (as it says on our Roadmap page, the schedule can change any time). We hit a snag during implementation of this item and had to reschedule our resources. It is still very important item, we will get back to it as soon as we can.
This will not be in scope of suggested change. Most probably, I will archive this thread as soon as we release what we planned and we will be reconsidering new suggestions after that.

On behalf of one of our customers:
Currently, there is no way when sending an email blast to specify some recipients as CC (Carbon copy). Without this, every recipient of the email can consider the email as some action to follow up, not as FYI. Adding CC (or BCC) can help to deal with this.
What about email routing settings?
For event registation email in even details you can specify to make a copy to Administrator. "Administrator" in this case is taken from "Email routing" settings. There you can add your secretary email.
We also are currently (in upcoming 4.4 release) working on ability to specify event specific administrator so that all event emails can be routed specifically to him, no broadcasted to all admins.
