An error occurred while saving the comment Gail Victoor commentedWe have clients that use Wild Apricot that would greatly benefit from this. They have events that sell out quickly. Currently there are members that are staying up past midnight to register in these popular events that do sell out. It would be great to be able to set a specific time to open registration. Thank you!

We're considering to take Donations during registrations/applications into development right now, but during analysis of the feature we ran into an issue where we would love to hear your feedback.
Essense of question: how would you like donations during applications or registration to be processed for offline payments (when your member/prospect decided to get an invoice and pay later)?
Some more details:
We can implement donations during event registrations/membership renewals for online payments - not a problem.
But when we're talking about offline payments, straighforward solution seems to be a bit expensive - we don't have invoices for donations or pledges yet.
So right now we're considering going on with straighforward online payments solution (donation will be added to payment transaction) and for offline payments - just include an invoice memo to buyer to add $XXX to his payment as donation for event/membership he has selected.
This way administrators would…

An error occurred while saving the comment Gail Victoor commentedOur club has many active event committees (over 30). Each event committee has its own event tag. This controls which calendar and which event page the events show on. Every 6 months, we have a few committees change names (which also changes the tag being used) as well as a few committees stop operating. We would like an easy way to change and delete tags on the site. Currently it creates a lot of manually work to go through the numerous past events to delete the tags we'd like to remove.
Ideally we would like:
1.) an option to have tags come from a controlled list (rather than simply typing in new tags into the event). We would like the option for tags to be edited (added, changed or removed) by certain admin privileges.
2.) Would like an option to easily delete a tag (if you have the admin privileges) without having to delete from all historical events.
Thanks!

I merged another very similar thread into this one, they should be solved together – the registration to multiple events should be simple and fast if possible. There are a number of suggestions in comments on how to achieve this.

An error occurred while saving the comment Gail Victoor commentedI agree and also would like to have an option to enforce that any required fields that have not been yet filled in could be enforced at the time of login.
Thanks!

We’re looking into this request in much broader context – we want to simplify overall management of contacts, lists, saved searches. Saved search should be perceived as smart lists and provide quick access to various contact and member groups.

An error occurred while saving the comment Gail Victoor commentedWe would love to see more advanced search functionality for events on the public view side.
We recently implemented the site search function that includes the ability to search events however this searches all events, even past events.
The event site search function is a good start but the ability to hide past events from the search would be key for us. The club has 50+ events a month so hiding the past events is crucial to make the event search effective for our club.Gail Victoor supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Gail Victoor commentedOur association could really benefit from this. We have couples that want to register for an event and pay in a single transaction. As our events are members only, we need the verification that the guest is a member so we can't use the guest registration feature. This feature would be a real benefit to our membership! Thanks!

An error occurred while saving the comment Gail Victoor commentedIn addition to the great suggestion above, we would also like an option for the existing calendar links to be displayed at the bottom of the calendar in addition to their current position. (Week, Month Year view links as well as the links for the Previous Week, Month or Year and the Next Week, Month or Year) .
This would eliminate having to go back to the top of the calendar each time to go to the next month or next week, etc. and would be very beneficial in the mobile view.
Thanks!

We work with many Wild Apricot customers that would greatly benefit from this feature. Currently to add social links, you need to add the full URL, which is not ideal. Having a social gadget that you can use within a member's profile and share in the member directory would be a real asset.
