Specify time not just date for event's registration available period
Posting this on behalf of client Nishit Vasavada:
"Event registration start time (not just the date - under Registration Type/Available period). Currently it opens at 12am on the date of the local timezone, but we need it at 9pm. We can set the timezone to ET (we are in PT), but if we forget, it's a hassle. It would be really nice to have the time in addition to date."

When setting a date for the start of accepting registrations for an event, it would be also important to set the time. Having an event open at midnight can be confusing for folks or inconvienant for those who are not night owls. Being able to set registrations to open on specified date at noon or 6pm is important for us and seems like it would be trivial to add.

I see this as a key feature for all the event registrations (especially if events are oversubscribed).

I've also checked the ap[i and there no way to achieve this via custom code and the API

Currently you can only disable registrations by x days before an event as the registration type level.
This becomes onerous if you have multiple events in a week and multiple registration types and is prone to human error making so many changes. And our event change on a weekly basis so it's hard to duplicate the settings.
Adding an additional option at the event level to disable events by x days or x hours would save a lot of time and duplication of effort.
You could still maintain the registration types and if the disable registration is set at the registration level this could override the event default, but if one or more registration types do not have the disable registration settings set then they use the event default, if no settings are present on the registration type, use the event default

Like the others...my candidates wait up til midnight...find registration opening times vary...get fed up...they are now setting alarms at 02.30hrs so they wake up to register! Crazy!...but they're keen!!

This would be very helpful when allowing people to register for a limited number of spots. Plenty of people can't/aren't willing to stay up until midnight to register, and our events fill up fast. It really would be more reasonable to be able to set a time that works for the normal waking hours.

Some of our popular events are oversubscribed by individuals who know the system and get up at midnight to sign up for events. We would like to delay the ability to open the event for signup later in the day, rather than 12 am.

I agree that registration opening should include a time. Our events fill up very quickly and ideally the registration should open at the same time as the First automatic announcement is sent. As it is now, there is no way to do this automatically. So we have to manually open the registration... not an ideal scenario with 25 events per month!

It would be great to be able to schedule an event registration close time. For example, for a luncheon sign-up, we need to close the registration to forward numbers for the event. It could allow registration to be open as long as possible without me having to go in and manually close registration.

Event Registration Automatic Cutoff - I would love a way to automatically cutoff registration for an event. There could be a checkbox "Would you like us to automatically cutoff public registration at a certain time?" and then a timed box to put in that time. Admins would still be able to register people on the back end. This would allow us to tell the venue the numbers, make the nametags, and then charge at-the-door prices for those that come at the door. Thanks for making this and your other great ideas happen!

The deadline to give caterers our attendance count is never at midnight - it's always in the middle of the day. WA forces us to either cut off registration before we have to, or go in to turn it off manually. Please make this feature part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Would love to have this option in admin. The only way we can do it now, best I can tell, is to disable the entire event.

It's not just ending registration, it's when the event opens as well. My membership doesn't want an event to open at midnight... It would be ideal to say I want an event to open on a specific date at a specific time.

As a National organization, we are struggling with this too. Can it switch between packages too? We have to create member and non member packages but then have to enable one and disable another. Would be great to have an automatic late fee that hits after a certain date.

Is there a way to schedule an event to open its registration in the future? We have ~ 20 events that all need to be opened at a certain time and date. We go in manually today for each one at said time/date.

I would also like to request that the time of day be added to the event registration process. That would be very helpful!

Currently registration start date opens one minute after 12 midnight on the date specified. Would it be possible to add a start time such as 8:00 am. We have had some complaints from members that the night owl members are always getting into the limited spaces for some of our more limited space events. (i.e. wine tasting)
