We are happy to announce that a new Text notification service is now available for you, our early adopter group. Check out the new Apps menu in your WildApricot account!
If you don’t see the new Apps page in the main menu, you may 1. be outside of US / Canada, 2. don’t have the paid subscription, or 3. have multiple accounts we don’t know about.
If you want to explore a new Text notification service, contact our support team to enable the new functionality in your Wild Apricot account.
The setup process is easy, and as always, our team has prepared detailed help articles to address all of your questions.
We can’t wait to share these new tools with you and look forward to hearing your feedback.

Any update on this? It looks like the last admin comment was two years ago where it was removed from the 2017 plans. Any plans for 2019 and beyond?

This would be a great feature. When someone signs up for an event, they should be able to opt into text message notifications. If there’s a last minute change in venue, parking, weather cancellations or any other unplanned happening, it can make the difference in controlled chaos or disaster. Sure, we can buy an external service then figure out how to get the info over, then manage all the changes, but it would be so much better to offer this as an additional service. Please reconsider.

I agree with this especially since WA is pushing their payment system. How is the credit card info stored; unencrypted text? I’m actually a bit concerned about paying my membership dues through WA if this is the care taken with my password, PCI-compliant or not.

Is there a way to schedule an event to open its registration in the future? We have ~ 20 events that all need to be opened at a certain time and date. We go in manually today for each one at said time/date.

Plain text would be a great start!! An added bonus would be to see a notification on the phone when something is posted to a forum if the user chooses to do so in their settings. Thanks.

Would be beneficial if members could manage their forum and topic subscriptions in the app along with an option to receive push notifications as a subscription option.

I am excited about the app and looking forward to announcing to our members once the Android version is complete. What are the long term plans in terms of features and scalability? For example, is it planned or envisioned to allow each organization to manage which content appears on their app, similar to how each organization’s website is customized? I’d imagine something similar to a gadget feature. I know our organization would add a forum gadget which users would see their subscribed forums.

We have many forums on our site and it's becoming very important that we know who has subscribed to a forum. Also, I'm not seeing a way to add a user to a forum. Is there a way to do that without creating a group?

Merged several posts together, so that both public and admins lists can be customized. This is better for analysis and design to work on them together.

We run several events that begin in the spring and end in the fall. One of the registration types is to register as a sub so you can fill in for someone else that can't make it. Because subs come and go, we need to continually run a sub list for each event. It would be really great if people could look at the participant list on demand. I was going to add a saved search to the website, but didn't see a way to do that. In any case - however participants can be able to view the participant list would be very helpful to us and save us lots of time in running and re-running reports to try to keep up with the changes.

We could use the credits system versus a $0.00 pricing option. Either one would work for us.
