Blog Post Triggers Email Blast
It would be efficient to have the option when a blog post is created to automatically email the content of the blog post to the email group that has subscribed to blog updates. Currently, an email has to be manually generated. Thanks.

I asked for this a few years ago. Now I see that it is a popular request. Any idea when it might be coming? I see in other wishlist items that comprehensive improvements to the blog feature are underway. I sure hope this is included!

Love this post! Exactly what we need: "I'd like to see this as an option for admins only. You're writing up a blog post, and there's a checkbox at the bottom to allow you to email the posting to a saved contact list (like you do when sending emails) if it's applicable for that posting."
Ditto. Looking for zapier and IFTTT workarounds to send an email when blog posts with a specific tags are published.

I check in quarterly to see if Wildapricot can provide us a subscription notification for blog posts. NAEPSDP would like this functionality.
This would be a great feature! We use google blogger just because of that automated feature.
We have a page titled "News" that only administrators can post to. would it be possible for an automated email to be sent to subscribers whenever there is a new post?

We would also like to be able to do something similar. Actually the preference would be to have an email address for the blog which we can copy emails to and have them automatically posted to the blog. Squarespace allows us to do this for example.
I would find this feature very useful (just launched our Wild Apricot site on 01OCT2015).
