We are happy to announce that a new Text notification service is now available for you, our early adopter group. Check out the new Apps menu in your WildApricot account!
If you don’t see the new Apps page in the main menu, you may 1. be outside of US / Canada, 2. don’t have the paid subscription, or 3. have multiple accounts we don’t know about.
If you want to explore a new Text notification service, contact our support team to enable the new functionality in your Wild Apricot account.
The setup process is easy, and as always, our team has prepared detailed help articles to address all of your questions.
We can’t wait to share these new tools with you and look forward to hearing your feedback.

Agreed. Another way to do this would be to have a news/blog item gadget to pull a blog post (or posts) into an existing email template. Basically you would have the ability to pull news items into an email newsletter.

We do what Felix suggested - put in as a basic event with links to the outside org site. If emailing to tell people about it, we delete the registration buttons so they don't mistakenly RSVP with us.
We also sometimes add outside events as a news blog item. -

I would like this feature also. There is no easy way to clean up the contacts list based on email engagement (or lack thereof).

We are trying to get our members (and administrators) to use the forums to communicate on club projects. Right now, there is a lot of emailing back and forth through our private gmail accounts, and things are getting out of hand. It would be easier to manage projects on the forums. We would like the Forum capabilities in the user app as well as the admin app.
