Online store
Current features:
Items can only be sold if they are part of a membership application, event registration, manual invoice or donation.
Desired features:
Create a store of items that can be purchased individually or collectively (e.g. shopping cart)
Hi supporters,
Today the Wild Apricot online store functionality was enabled for all paid accounts. We did our best to roll it out earlier than it was expected so you could try it out before the day of price increase.
Please fill out this survey to let us know what is missing in the initial version so we could define the followups:

Thanks for all the support and help during beta-test.

Yes it would be good to have a built in shopping cart that supports digital downloads.
The Paypal widget works find but it does not support digital downloads.
Is there anyway to set up the registration fee process so that it could be used for digital downloads?

Our association also wants to have this capability. We won't be selling physical inventory as often as digital resources - so purchaser may get a URL link or a file, not something that's shipped. So what they'll "get" for their purchase may be sent to them in a confirmation message.

Thanks, appreciate sharing your finding.

Dmitry - Unless customers need to track the merchandise members buy, we've found an excellent solution to this similar to what you suggest with Amazon. Lands' End now offers a free eStore that carries much of their merchandise on which you can apply your organization's logo. The benefit is that merchandise management is controlled entirely by them. Credit card processing, inventory management, defect/return control, guarantees, and customer service. All the benefits of an eStore without the hassle. https://ocs.landsend.com/lebo/CCSetup/account/login We intend on adding an external link to two Wild Apricot sites. Feel free to pass this along to your customers. Cheers, Marc Lotti

As you can see, there is very little feedback on this thread yet - so this is still just an item under consideration on the wishlist, there is no plan/timeline yet.

YES! This would be so useful and much needed. Any idea when this would happen?
Thanks!

Yes, this would definitely be useful for us. Many of our members renew and sign up for conferences at the same time, or first become members when there is a conference.

Count us in! Absolutely.

Absolutely! This goes hand in hand with the need to enable registration of multiple participants and/or multiple events in a single transaction. I've got this big event coming up next spring that consists of multiple sub-events with separate registration and discounts for members, and I'm increasingly concerned about how onerous the registration process is going to be.

It would be really useful if people could bundle the purchases they make on the website, for example: sign up for membership, then book an event, and pay for them together. Or have the option to make an extra donation when they book an event, and pay for them together.
At the moment users who want to attend member-only events have to join or renew, and go through paypal for that, then sign up for the event, and go through paypal again, which is quite a deterrent for some people.
Any plans for this? Would anyone else find this useful?

Sorry, no, this has not been scheduled for development yet.

We are also interested in a shopping cart and online store for our site.
Do you have any near future launch date of this feature being available?
Thanks
