Have a totally customizable email blast template.
Our organization sends many different types of eblasts. It would be so helpful if there was a blank template option where text and image boxes could be added anywhere and sized. It would have to have the usual options: text & background colors, font choices, etc. That would make it easier to keep our branding consistent and give us complete flexibility in design.

Multipul invoice options
Please make the word, "INVOICE" disappear from the top of the invoice. We use it for different reasons, i.e., 501c3, thank you letter etc. We also print on our own letter head and Our president won't allow us to use this your site/invoice due to this. Therefore I have to hand print every single letter on word. please make it removable for me. ;.)

Set default Contact and Member settings for fields
It would be helpful to be able to select default options for visibility in contact and member fields.
6 votesThis is how it works: you define default settings at “Member privacy settings” page – see https://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Member+privacy+settings?from=hwyqB#Memberprivacysettings-Settingprivacydefaults%28andapplyingchangestoallmembers%29

List contacts that are not members
I want to see the "contacts" that are not "Members". Do We have to have a field in "Members" which is for "Non-Members" in order to be able to search for this category?
3 votesAdd “Contact properties” search criteria, choose “none of selected” and then check “Member”. This will return all contacts that are not currently members.

enhance the Mobile App to all users to initiate phone call from the App
the Mobile App searches the database beautifully but it would be even more powerful if a user could initiate a phone call by clicking on one of the contacts straight from the Mobile App
8 votesStarting from version 1. 3. 1 you can tap on a phone number from contact details to initiate a call

Stripe payments don't include member names in details
Payments made into Stripe don't include the member name, and whilst the audit log does include the Stripe ChargeID it doesn't seem searchable.
If you know a Stripe payment how do your relate it back to a member?

put a "Save" button on the page for writing and editing emails to contacts and members. "Save and Close" is there now.
Please fix this issue: Although there's a message that says that email drafts have been saved automatically, they are in fact not saved unless you have saved them manually first at least once. Please put a Save button on the page for writing new emails as you have on other web pages. "Save and Close," which is on the page now, is not the same thing.

Make pictures in Slideshow gadget clickable - add text and links to them
The current slideshow widget only allows rotating images. This is fine for many purposes but for the purpose of a home page content slider having the ability to add text and links to each slide would greatly improve this widget. I'm sure almost every Wild Apricot user could benefit from this.
Please Vote for this!!
88 votesWe are happy to announce that this feature is released. Please check it out.
Now you can associate pictures in slideshow with links through slideshow gadget settings. You can link pictures to custom links, site pages or events.
We hope you’ll like it. If you have any followups or ideas please do not forget to leave them on this forum in a new topic.
Sincerely yours,

Accept onsite credit card payments - e.g. using Square Up
We hold an annual conference and accept onsite registrations. Currently, we are able to register attendees onsite in Wild Apricot and then we email them an invoice so they may use a credit card to pay online. We use PayPal for our online payments. We are wondering if we would be able to link our payment system to one of these little “square up” card readers that you use with an iPhone so we can just swipe cards rather than ask people to complete an additional step by paying online.
69 votesSquare integration implemented in mobile app for administrators. You can find detailed description here: https://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Accepting+mobile+payments+using+Square
PayPal Here integration was moved to separate topic. If you prefer PayPal Here integration, please vote for it here: http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/18077188

Limit for Guest Registrations
With events you can now set up Registration types that can allow multiple of "guest" registrations. At the present time the only limit put on the number of guests is as part of limiting total registrations for events.
However, some clients have mentioned that they would like to limit the number of guests who can come to an event. I can think of two ways to do this:
* Limit total number of guests for the event - If you don't want more than 50 guests, then you set this limit at the same time that you set the registration…61 votesReleased in version 6.4
Now the administrator could limit the number of guests.

Different payment options for events/membership
In release 2.3.4 you added the manual payment option which is valid for all payment types.
I would like to be able to make the manual payment option open to the few hundred people who are the membership but not make it available to the thousands who sign up for events.
I do not have a need to have it selectable at each membership level or for one event or another - just events vs. members. Any chance?

Ability to select recipients for event announcements [5260]
For my nationwide webcasts, I LOVE being able to have the event announcements and reminders automatically go out on certain dates. It saves me so much time and effort. Thank you for this feature.
However, for my regional events I'm not able to use this feature since it will send the announcements and reminders to all my members, instead of just members in Boston or the Bay Area for example. Isn't there a way to set the announcements to only send to members with keywords - the way you can set keywords for events you should be able to set…

Website text search
Current behavior:
There is no content search function for website pages or attachmentsDesired behavior:
Search engine to search web pages, and ideally attachments as well.
ideally, search public and restricted content depending on current user accessWorkaround:
Use Google search widget. This only works for publicly accessible contentNotes:
Biggest challenges:
1) implementing good search algorithms (most site searches are either too narrow or too broad)
2) indexing attachments of various types
3) Indexing restricted access content0 votes -
Tracking on-site registrations and actual attendance [1112]
Current behavior:
Wild Apricot assumes that mos attendees will be pre-registering online and does not provide any special functionality for on-site registrations and attendance tracking. It is still possible to handle that in the following way:
- record on-site registrations and collect payments. Record attendance. (We assume that you will do it on the piece of paper instead of directly into the system, though this is possible as well).
- enter all onsite registrations manually via admin backend using 'Add attendee' button. (You might want to add a special registration type 'Onsite' to make reconciliation easier)
- add option buttons…0 votesReleased in 5.1

Do not mark as 'free' events which involve expenses payable to others
Some events are not free, however we don't want to enter a price, in order to prevent the system from generating an invoice... For example, when members register for a trip to a chocolate factory. They don't owe the Club any money, but still, this is not a free event, they will have to pay for the transportation, visit, lunch,...
Is there a way to either hide ¨Free¨ (because it's not free after all) or prevent the system from generating an invoice if we input a price (because it's not money owed to the Club)?
Many thanks,
Nicole

Global Enable/Disable Email Sending
When doing a lot of work on our member listings we don't necessarily want an email sent with every change. It's tedious and subject to error to disable email, make changes, then re-enable email again.
It would be so much simpler to just turn off email while we perform maintenance on our lists, then turn it on again.
